Multitouch support for trackpad on Windows

Is there any way to enable full multitouch support for the Macbook Pro trackpad under Windows? The two-finger scrolling works perfectly but I miss the three finger swipe and thre-finger flick whenever I boot on Windows.

I see :/
I've installed the Trackpad++ driver described in your second link and it has actually improved the tracking and scrolling speed. However, it does not include support for three or four finger actions. The developer seems to be planning to in later releases though.
Thanks

Printer driver support for computers running Windows 8 Release Preview
HP is working to help customers have the best experience with HP printers connected to PCs running the final release of Windows 8. The pre-release time is a development period when HP develops and tests printer driver solutions. HP’s current plan is for Windows 8 compatible printers to be available when the new operating system is released to the public. HP is working with Microsoft to include drivers in the Windows 8 operating system for HP printers introduced in recent years.
There may be a variety of sources for a printer driver/solution for your HP printer on a computer running Windows 8 Release Preview.
    inOS:
An in-Operating System (inOS) driver is a basic driver that is included within the operating system. You do not need to download or install any software from HP. Windows 8 Relase Preview contains several inOS drivers. If an inOS driver is available for your printer, you will have at least basic print capability with USB and Network and basic scan capability with USB only (if your printer supports scanning).
    Windows Update:
There might be a more functional or more up-to-date driver available for your printer through Microsoft Windows Update. If Windows Update is enabled, then the Windows Update process activates automatically when you connect (USB and Network connections) the printer to the computer. It searches online for the most recent print driver on the Windows Update site. If the online driver is more functional than the currently installed driver in Windows 8, the computer downloads and installs this driver.
    HP Supplied Printer Driver/Solutions:
Although HP does not formally support any pre-release versions of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 8 Release Preview, we may supply some full functionality drivers* prior to the official release of Windows 8. These drivers may be supplied as a courtesy to our valued HP customers through this Support Forum, though no formal support will be available otherwise. We welcome feedback within these support forums. Please check back for further updates as the official release of Windows 8 approaches.

  • How do i get PCL5 support for P1606dn printer windows 7 64-bit

    how do i get PCL5 support for P1606dn printer windows 7 64-bit

The full solution, off the product page, is the recommended solution for this product. It works for most windows applications and installed by default.
The PCL 5 UPD driver only works for the 1606 models and is recommeneded for general office printing and 3rd party or custom software programs.
The XPS print driver (off the prodcut page) is recommened for capturing and printing exactly what is on the screen.
When you install the UPD driver, I would recommend that your install it in the traditional mode instead of the dynamic mode. Just my preference. This way you don't have to wait for it to search for the printer everytime you want to print.

Is there support for this configuration either in a patch release for 10g or is it planned for the near future?

    Hi,
Oracle 10gR1 is certified for Tru64 UNIX 5.1b.
Certification of Oracle 10gR2 for Tru64 UNIX 5.1b.is planned for 1st quarter 2006.
If it does not support directly, is there a patch available etc..No idea, perhaps can you create an iTAR to post the question.

  • Support for 64-Bit Windows?

    Hello,
Do any/all versions of ODP.NET support the 64-Bit version of Windows? Is there a separate version of ODP and/or Client 9.2 for 64-Bit?
    Thank you.

Microsoft has not released a 64-bit .NET framework as of yet. So, it's not possible to support any .NET application on 64-bit.

  • Compaq/HP Notebook not supported for upgrade to Windows 7?

I have an older Compaq notebook (DA533AV), which due to the recent announcement by Microsoft, appears to meet the minimum specifications for running Windows 7. It has an AMD 1.7Ghz processor (3400+), 1GB of memory, and a DirectX 9.0-capable video card (NVIDIA 440 GO with 64MB of memory). However, it appears as though NVIDIA's stance on it is that the video component of the laptop is being considered a 'legacy' product, and therefore not worth their attention for creating Windows 7 drivers for it.
Is HP/Compaq committed to supporting their products as long as those products meet the minimum standards for next-generation operating systems? This notebook was an expensive purchase, and it is otherwise quite capable, but I fear that it is going to be left behind, and will only be able to run Windows XP until it finally dies (or applications I want to run are no longer supported on windows XP).
A recent posting of updated Windows 7 drivers for NVIDIA products does NOT include the NVIDIA video card imbedded in my laptop. Without a Windows 7 DirectX 9.0-style driver, my laptop is only capable of bringing up Windows 7 in VESA mode, which is quite limited, and doesn't support the native screen size of the LCD panel of the laptop.
The only way NVIDIA will deliver Windows 7 drivers for my laptop is if HP requests them. How can I convince HP that my laptop is worthy of such attention?
    Frustrated,

  • Vcast Media Manager -- where is support for 64-bit windows computers??

I purchased a Droid 2 in October, when I plug it into my computer it brings up Verizon Vcast Media Manager page to download that program (which is good because I want to get my music onto my phone from my desktop computer).  But only after download attempt does it tell me that said program will only support a 32-bit operating system.  Well, I, my wife, and a lot of other people have a 64-bit operating system.  Is Verizon really that far behind the times?  Seriously has no one noticed this, a 32-bit machine is outdated these days.  Why can i not hook my Droid up to my puter, I thought this was smartphone technology...  Maybe the phone is smarter than Verizons Programmers??   To VZW, please correct me if I am wrong, or fix the problem if I am correct.

Currently there is no 64bit version available at this time, and no ETA to when one will be available. I would recommend as an alternative using the Droid 2 as a mass storage drive to transfer music. I have included the instruction in an article below:
    http://support.vzw.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=34780
If it still does not recognize it as a device, try putting it in USB debugging mode. Instruction article given below:
    http://support.vzw.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=31366
***As long as a memory card is present in the device, it will show up as a drive on your personal computer. Once it shows up as a drive, you can drag and drop music and media files on the Droid 2.

  • Support for JDeveloper 10.1.3 on Windows Server 2008 64 bit OS

    Hello,
We are using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 (patch # 9879989) for R12.
Would like to know support for Jdeveloper on windows server 2008 - 64 bit.
    Thanks,
    Swati.

    Hi Swati,
Currently I am using Jdeveloper Patch#9172975 for R12.1.2 on windows server 2008 X64 and it works fine.
As Jdeveloper Patch#9172975 is lower version then Jdeveloper Patch#9879989, Patch#9879989 should work on Windows Server 2008 64bit.
Still I am not confirm about Jdeveloper Patch#9879989 on Windows Server 2008 64bit.
    Thanks,

  • Abandoned Support for X40 ?

Lenovo/Thinkvantage updates for Windows 7 have begun to exclude support for X40. Has Lenovo abandoned support for X40 ? My X40/2372 with SSD runs just fine under Windows 7. I trusted Lenovo's "cost of ownership" promise. It seems Lenovo has abandoned support for X40s running Windows 7. Is this so? If Lenovo has not abandoned support for X40s under Windows 7, which version of System Update and Access Connections supports X40 under Windows 7?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Welcome to the forum!
As per MS's own guidelines, X40 is not deemed powerful enough to run Vista or W7, due to its outdated graphics chipset.
All of these machines are over five years old now and expecting support for an OS that is two releases behind the newest one that they were originally shipped with is rather optimistic - I know of no laptop manufacturer that provides that kind of support.
All of that said, trial and error is the only way to go, and find out what works and what doesn't. I do it with my older ThinkPads all the time.
    Good luck.
    Cheers,
    George

  • How can I enable multitouch support in Firefox for Windows 7?

I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a Fujitsu Q550 tablet. I would like multi-touch support, which supposedly was tried in Firefox 4 beta 3. I can't find an installer for that to try it out myself, and I don't seem to be getting the desired results from either the current Firefox (9) or the current beta for it (2). Does it exist as a feature that just has to be enabled? Is there another way (or another browser) that supports multi-touch on Windows?
