*** WARNING = DpRqServiceQueue: timeout of HIGH PRIO msg, return DP_CANT_H

Hi Guys - I have installed EHP5 ready system and now I am upgrading it. It is a brand new system and it tuns on Oracle 11g and Linux Redhat. I am on downtime phase and upgrade after switching the kernel trys to start the system. I tried to start the system myself I am getting the following error on dev_disp trace file:
I have also tried to upgrade the kernel to the latest there is but I have had no luck.
Please help.

I knew you are going to ask for dev_w0 log. I have to tell you why I can not produce the latest dev_w01 log.
I have downloaded extended version of the Linux kernel not knowing that extended version is for Linux 6.0.
My OS version is Redhat 5.7. Since I applied the extended version of the Linux kernel, I can no longer produce a newer version of the dev_w0 log.
I tried to backout and install the unicode kernel 720 for Linux, but for some reason all the libraries are either missing or pointing to Redhat 6.0. I am not sure how to proceed.
However I have the upgrade logs, That I can paste. This is the output of troublesav.log:

    One or more Safari extensions are the cause for Safari crashing.
    Can you access Safari > Preferences > Extensions before Safari crashes??
    If not, startup your Mac in Safe Mode
    A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
    Then launch Safari. Then go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions. Uninstall all the extensions then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
    Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
    You also need to uninstall Rapport. You don't need to be in Safe Mode to do this.

  • How to handle very high volume msgs in XI

    I have  a scenario where  6 million msgs/ hour(xml) have to be picked form source and to be sent to target ,
    How do we handle this high volume of data is there any good practice
    Pls suggest .

    Hi Anubhav,
    if you just have to send source file to target system without doing any mapping, then it dont use XI for it.......because you have a very high volume of msgs and for this such load, XI will start putting your msgs in wait status and may be the JAVA engine may go down because of insufficient memory.......
    So better have an FTP utility in target system.....connect to source system by this...and move the files from source to target by this FTP utility......
    But if you have to do a mapping from source msg to target msg, then use XI....but try doing the mapping by graphical mapping and dont go for ABAP mapping to reduce memory usage for your scenario.......
    Thanks,

  • 1473R DMA timeout at high speed?

    I'm using a 1473R with a Basler line camera spl2048-140km. I managed to modify the example to run the camera on both 8 tap 8 bit mode and 4 tap 12bit mode. Both run well at low speed. However, there are two issues when I try to run it at high speed.
    If I set the frame trigger at relatively high speed before I start the acquiring (like 30kHz), a DMA timeout error will jump out as soon as I start it (error -8999). If I set it at low speed (like 100Hz), it will run fine as I increase it to 30kHz after it starts.
    Another issue is, when I try to push the speed of the camera to its limit, which is 70kHz for single channel mode and 140kHz for dual channel mode, I will always have the error -8999. It happens when the speed reaches 100kHz in 8 tap 8 bit mode, and 50kHz at 4 tap 12 bit mode. I wonder where the bottle neck is and if there will be a way to solve it.
    Thanks!

    I'm not that familiar with the FPGA code for the 1473R, but I am fairly sure that the DRAM example has been tested with fairy fast cameras. That said, it seems from looking at it that it does not have a good feedback mechanism if PCIe bandwidth is not available. It's only feedback seems to be if the host DMA buffer fills up (e.g. host code doesn't read it fast enough). Since PCIe/memory bandwidth is extremely host-dependent, it is quite possible this example is not well tested with the combination of very fast cameras and some systems that have more jittery PCIe bandwidth. I'm not sure of the specifics of the DMA FIFO behavior, but my assumption is that the number of elements remaining really only concerns itself with host space available. For most situations, the minimal amount of FIFO built into the DMA engine likely makes this work fine.
    First, I'd try instrumenting the code to figure out which specific part in the FPGA code is timing out. The example doesnt seem to track all the error cases well.
    Assuming it is the host DMA that times out AND it always reports that there is free space available, my suggestion would be to modify the code to let the DMA step retry with the same data the next clock cycle on a Timeout and let the data back-up in DRAM as needed.

  • WARNING JBO-35007 after validator throws msg

    Could somebody help me understand what is going on here? I am trying to create a simple creation form on a table that has a field being populated with a db sequence. All seems to work fine until I put a backing bean method validator on one of the fields. Now when the validator fails (throws msg) and I try to correct the input I get the JBO-35007 msg. It seems that when the 35007 message comes back the iterator is now pointing at the first row in the table, instead of the newly created row. I am using 10.1.3.1.0 ADF BC w/ JSF. I have created the db objects (see below) and created an entity object with the id set to db_sequence, then a vo. The only other field in the table is description. I have created a simple validator that states if the user input a Z show an error. (see below). Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I have tried to set refresh to never (thinking that was doing some weird invoke create and I have tried setting the enableTokenValidation to false to no avail.
    Thanks,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I have work on this a couple more hours this morning and still no luck. This can't be this complicated. I tried to set the refresh renderModel to ${!adfFacesContext.postback} and still no luck. I wasn't sure how to get the bindings.XId.inputValue < 0 in there as I kept getting coersion errors. I even tried to set it to no refresh and no luck. When I create the same type of scenario without the DBSequence I do not get the JBO-35007, so it has to be something in my entity object. Any other ideas? I guess I can redesign and use transient vo's, but that kind of defeats the purpose of all this cool ADF BC stuff. This is just a simple input form with some validation, I should be able to do this, right?

  • Unexpected error msg returned by stored procedure (called by 'C' program)

    My 'C' code is calling an Oracle stored procedure that can either return a record or not ~ depending on if rows already exist having the existing coordinates. In this case, there are not any existing records so I would expect the stored procedure to return an error code of 100 ~ for "no rows found". Instead, it is returning ORA-21000: error number argument to raise_application_error of 100". Do I need to change my 'C' code to look for a return code of -21000 to represent "no rows found" from my stored procedure, or is error code 100 still what I should be checking for and I am encountering a different problem ?
    Vicki

    So, are you trying to copy the error codes over from Sybase as well (i.e. an error code of 100 in your Sybase application translates to "no data found")?
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR allows you to raise custom errors, but the error numbers have to be in the range -20000 to -20999 (i.e. ORA-20000 through ORA-20999). You can use RAISE to re-raise Oracle's NO_DATA_FOUND message, though that won't match the error number 100 you're expecting. It would also be pointless to have an exception handler that just raises the same error again, so you'd want to remove the error handler entirely if it would just RAISE again.

  • What is higher prio factory deffect or physical damage?

    Hi all.
    My question is following.
    I cracked my screen but this screen had well known ghosting issue (burn-in, pixel retention).
    In apple store they refer to some articles. One of them says
    'Apple does not respond for internal damage caused by accident'
    It is known that apple chage lcds in case of burn in. The guy from store said that because of crack
    they will not change the screen that from the beginning was factory defect.
    So if i bring that laptop with burn in defect but without crack they would change it, in case of crack
    no.
    I am not agree with that.
    Best regards,
    Vladimir.

    Liz, nice "seeing" you again. I always appreciate your help.
    I hear what you're saying about a Nexus acting as an FCF, but I am not sure whether you're saying that a Nexus in NPV mode is considered a hop.
    Anyway, I have heard this debate before on the blogosphere. Whether a device is considered a hop or not seems to be a point of contention. I am also reading INCITS BB5 in its totality, yet I dont see any definition of what is considered a hop. Albeit, I havent finished reading it yet.
    In my humble opinion, it makes sense to me to think of an FCoE hop as being any DCB switch that is passing FCoE traffic and acting on a level higher than the PHY and MAC layers. For example, a hop would be a device that is aggregating FCoE traffic/FLOGIs from all the blades in the chassis, or performing FIP snooping, or changing the VN-port to VF-port constructs between the CNAs and the ToR FCF forwarder switch port – basically, a device that is acting on the FCoE traffic and changing the manner in which it is presented to the ToR switch port would make the device a “hop,” just like a Nexus in NPV mode.

    I have stopped the installation, rebooted the system and started the installation again. Well that didn’t help at all. After that I have to start Oracle database and listener to proceed with old installation.
    Can you give me any advices how to solve this problem and finish the installation?
    Grateful for help.
    Jukka

    Hi Dolores,
    Thank you for your advices.
    I would appreciate further assistance with this problem because I couldn’t work it out jet.
    I logged in to the Visual Admin by using go file in usr/sap/HSM/DVEBMGS01/j2ee/admin.
    The Visual Administrator screen is opening but I cannot connect in.
    The error message popping up is "Cannot open connection on host xx.yy.xx.yy and port 50004".
    The login parameters specified are:
    Display name: j2ee
    User name: Administrator / (J2EE_ADMIN)
    Host: localhost
    HTTP Port: 50004
    Load balancing method: manual
    Transport layer: default
    I tried with two different username, see above.
    I also tried DDIC user logon via ssh command in Shell console, but didn’t succeed.
    Here is the information in some of those files your mentioned:

    A  *** ERROR => > Include LBTCHF39                                 line 173 [abgen.c      1390]
    A  *** ERROR => > Statement "âu2018âu2018âu2018âu2018âu2018IF" is not defined. Check your spelling. spelling. [abgen.c      1393]
    The error don't always look the same, here is another example:
    A  *** ERROR => Syntax error in program SAPLSALC                                 [abgen.c      1388]
    A  *** ERROR => > Include LSALCU54                                 line 55 [abgen.c      1390]
    A  *** ERROR => > No component exists with the name "MTSYSIDâu2018MTMCNAMEâu2018MTNUMRANGEâu2018MTUIDâu2018". "MTSYSID [abgen.c      1393]
    A  *** ERROR => > âu2018MTMCNAMEâu2018MTNUMRANGEâu2018MTUIDâu2018". [abgen.c 1395]
    The common thing is Syntax error. If we try to log in to the system using SAP Gui we get this message: "Syntax error in program SAPMS380".
    In the file dev_disp we can read a lot of these:
    Tue Nov 11 14:06:32 2008
    *** WARNING => DpRqServiceQueue: timeout of HIGH PRIO msg, return DP_CANT_HANDLE_REQ
    But we should have enough WP since noone has loggen on to the system.
    Facts:
    Tue Nov 11 14:06:07 2008

  • Kernel 114 error

    I upgraded ERP SR2 kernel level 114 from 111 so now in dispatcher the message is "dispatcher started but dialog queue in standstill"
    dev-disp:
    WARNING => DpRqServiceQueue: timeout of HIGH PRIO msg, return DP_CANT_HANDLE_REQ
    I increased the no of dialog workprocess and reduced abap/buffer as well but went in vain.

  • Unable to start the SAP instance - work processes are terminated

    Hello,
    We are implementing SAP ECC 6.0 on iSeries, i5/OS V5R4.
    The application server & the database server are implemented on one centralized physical iSeries server.
    We recently attempted to copy one SAP system (DEV) from one iSeries server to another, through restoring from an Entire System backup.
    After successfully conducting the restore onto the new (destination) iSeries server, and conducting all the necessary host name changes to be the same as the host name of the source system, we encountered a problem when trying to start the SAP : all the jobs under sub-system R3_00 are started, except the jobs constituting the SAP work processes; i.e. WP00, WP01, …etc.
    The following is the file holding the SAP start log :

    The abap stack works fine, I'm able to logon and work with the system BUT the java stack doesn't work. I've looking for this error in SAP Notes page, SDN portal,... also I've revised:
    -file host, located C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc contains a line 192.168.100.42     solution.grupotec.local     SAPTRANSHOST and the last line of this file is in blank
       this machine was in domain         'solution.gruposap.local'   and now is in the domain solution.grupotec.local
    In order to solve it, I've chequed:
    -SQL Server 2003 is up and running
    -I've taken out and in the machine from the domain
    -I've turned off the machine in order it refresh the new domain(solution.grupotec.local )
    -Filesystem has enough free space
    -I've updated SAP Kernel
    Please could you help me?
    Thanks and regards
