I used font awesome library from Adobe exchange. But after exporting html, font awesome icons did not go along with export. It's not showing in the browser. How can i export them? My client has GoDaddy and they're a nightmare to use the Upload to FTP Host feature within Muse - the files end-up in the wrong directory folder.
I'm sure the new HTML file will overwrite the old one on the FTP site, but just to clarify I don't need to uplaod the muse.manifest.xml file along with the modified HTML file?

Adobe Muse, Fehler beim html export?

Nachdem ich mein neues Testprojekt mit extrem wenig Inhalt fertig gestellt habe, exportiere ich es in html. Lokal funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Wenn ich den gesamten Ordner als Unterverzeichniss per ftp (filezilla und auch cyberduck) uploade, kann ich das Verzeichniß zwar ansurfen (Firefox, Google, Safari und SeaMonkey) aber immer wieder nur die Fehlermeldungen (Einige der Dateien auf dem Server fehlen oder sind ungültig. Löschen Sie den Browser-Cache und versuchen Sie es erneut. Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich an den Autor der Website.) Beispielprojekt zum Nachvollziehen habe ich hier abgelegt:

Muse crashes every time I try to export to HTML

I have taken a long time to design and develop a huge site in adobe Muse and now im encountering a rather worrisome problem. When I try to export the site to HTML into a folder on my computer to test it out, it crashes every time with a dialogbox that says "adobe muse has stopped working"
I originally thought this was due to missing assets or incorrectly sized assets but after fixing all that it still continues to crash.
has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Muse Crash - after pages "optimizing assets" and "exported" During Publish

The following was causing me problems for about a week or so. I continued to pursue it with the following "Crash" symptoms until waking this morning with perhaps a resolution to the inconsistent problem. It is so simple I would probably be wise just to ignor giving you an answer to save face. But, sometimes you just must standup and take it ... so don't be too hard on me.
ANSWER TO MY CRASH PROBLEM: When publishing you have in the option menu to either upload all changes or just upload those things that have changed from the last update. With over 2,000 images on my site and 18 pages I decided, until I had a major upgrade, to take the option to upload only changed items of my site. This saves a lot of time. In thinking about it it came to me "who is then deciding what is "change" and what conditions apply and are covered by the logic of the Muse program". What is considered an error to crash the program! So I chose the option to upload all items and this seemed to fix the problem. I think it has as it crashed right after it had uploaded the "changed" items but, never published them (because of an error somewhere in the uploads). My suggestion to the program writers is whatever sensed the error should have a dialogue box that says to rerun the program using "upload all items". Love this program! Muse Crash right after pages are exported during publish with no other indication of a problem. I have been fighting this problem for many days now.
I thought I had it fixed last night as it worked fine after deleting the Microsoft Outlook plugin called Acrobat PDFmaker Office com Addin as the descriptions of the problems it caused others with Adobe programs sounded exactly what I was see with Muse.
The only Change I see in Muse today is that during "Publish", and the information as it runs is Muse first "optimizing assets", them it Export Desktop page and gets to 16 of 18 then Muse crashes without any indication or message for the problem.
Could it be a problem with "Business Catalyst" as that is what "Publish" is exporting to? Who can check out to see what is happening from exporting assets to Business Catalyst? It appears that the one line in the specification box does not have to have any information put into it regarding the directory location as it already has the business Catalyst name or reference site in it. Is this correct?
That is all I need and the only thing I can say is .... HELP! Muse is the perfect program for me and my business and now it has let me down so that I can not make changes to what I would consider a great website at http://www.lowerphotography.com if I could only make needed changes.

Well, after 20 hours of work and rebuilding most of my Muse website I finally was able to upload by site again.
Here was my problems per above and the last 20 hours. When publishing the site it does the following: Optimize assets, exportin desktip page 1 thru 19, Fining export HTML files then uploading images which I have 2208 on this site plus other stuff uploaded.
I can not answer why it now works as "normally"it would het error #2015 uring optimizing assets wich is an invalid bitmap data error and failed at only 9% publish process then got a 1125 index 0 is out of range0 at publish 20% complete.
I did rewrite most of the pages and made minor changes to all of them thinking that would force all pages to be uploaded as I also took option to upload all pages instead of just those that changes. All 2008 images were reloaded onto the pages by another hint I read on how to delete all thumbnails and thus the files is to select all and press delete and it will leave one as required. Then the one left could be deleted by itself. Thanks for whoever asked the question and who answered it. This saved me a lot of time.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to help me out. Muse is a great program but sometimes you don't have any idea if it is working at something so I found myself looking at the computer busy light to see if Muse was taking a lot of cycles. It would help to have a wider use of the cursor busy indicator as sometimes the system seemed like it was hung up but it was not.

Again, after hours of calmness and yes I also prayed over this problem and this last time it worked. So stay calm, and keep working at it and God helping doesn't hurt either. I can not explain it otherwise.

Muse cc quits while exporting to html

hi. ı use the trial version of Muse cc. My problem is : Muse quits unexpectedly when exporting to html (starts doing it then quits)

Also quitting while trying to preview page/site in browser. (I tried in Safari and Chrome, same result)

Hmmm not familar with MACs recovery systems ... but depending on how long ago it was deleted the problem you have is you're still writing to the disk all this time ... so the chances of getting a proper recovered file is getting smaller and smaller ... because of the possibly of being wiped or written over ...

Muse Crashes every time I try to publish.

Muse Crashes every time I try to publish. It happens with FTP and HTML. I had a business catalyst site that worked but when I tried to update it it just crashed every time. I tried to create a new one and now it won't let me publish to business catalyst either. Just crash, crash, crash. It gets to 11% then crashes

The last update is horrible:/

Sorry, but we don't have time to try this or try that... The fact is, using version 2014.2 no problems. Suddenly it's impossible to work with.
Make a version 2014.2 available for download so that we can downgrade. I can't wait until the problems are solved, because we have to change some things very urgently.

Video issues in HTML export

My site previews embedded youtube videos fine in muse but when I export to my desktop the video thumbnails do not load. I tried enabling the privacy enhanced option per previous posts but it did not change anything. I just get the little "thinking" icon.
This is for my final school project so I don't care how I do it, it just has to be able to be viewed by my Professor once.

Some social widgets don't work well if you're viewing them over the file protocol(which is what you're doing if you export locally then open the index.html file with your browser).
Try publishing to a temporary Business Catalyst site, and view that site in your browser.

Muse crashes upon site or page preview

Hello,
I have been working with this production site for 6 months now without any problems. I ran the Muse update this morning (2014.2). Now every time that I try to preview any of the site pages or the whole site, this message occurs - "Why trying to resize image to a height of 0 (or negative)?"
This is a production site so any help or input on this one will be greatly appreciated! Any ideas?

Thank you for the assets, that's what I needed.
The bug is being triggered by a 1px by 1px thumbnail image on the "Code Enforcement" page. If you select this image and resize it slightly larger (i.e. 3px by 3px) that will avoid the bug. We'll look at updating Muse to correctly handle this case.
The specific thumbnail is for the "CodeEnforcement_features_image3.jpg" image. The first screen shot shows the image selected in Design view. It's the tiny orange rectangular dot in the middle of the screen. It's the resized thumbnail image for the middle dot. The second image shows the image selected in the Assets panel. If you right click on this entry in the Assets panel and select Go To Asset, that's probably the easiest way to select this image. Or you could select it using the Layers panel, as shown in the third screenshot. Once selected you can enter larger height and width values in the Transform panel or Control Strip.
Once this image has been made slightly larger (but still entirely cropped out by the thumbnail image frame), the export process should complete without errors.
Very sorry for the inconvenience. We'll look at correcting this for an update.

Using MUSE to create HTML email

I'd like to use MUSE to create HTML email. This requires embedding (or adding inline) the CSS file(s). Any suggestions as to how to accomplish this??

Hello Ben,
It is not possible to add inline styles/CSS within Muse. I would suggest you here to Export your webpages to HTML by clicking on File>Export to HTML and then make the changes manually in the HTML code using some HTML editor.

Muse crashes when I add Vimeo widget onto a page.

I have just had Muse crash on multiple occasions now even when I get the iframe embed code from the Vimeo site and insert that into the page using Object / Insert HTML
