Muse Mobile

Hello Muse,
Just finished my new company website, http://countycreative.co.uk. Muse is Billiant! However when viewing my site on a mobile device (Link: http://we.tl/lIHxZUbTfK) it shifts everthing to the left instead of centering it. I don't what to create a mobile version yet, so is there a quick fix for this problem. Many thanks, Michael

Hi
You may simply place below mentioned meta information in master page's page properties for phone layout :
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no" />
<meta name="HandheldFriendly" content="true" />
take a look :
I hope this helps.

  • There is a serious bug in Super Widget for Muse mobile

    Dear Developers and Admin,
There's this bug I noticed yesterday while using the SuperWidget for Muse mobile. By default the Expanding Menu pushes down the content below while it drops down. This happens on most of the cases. However, if the page contains Slideshow or a lightbox, the Menu goes behind the thumbnails and the Slideshow... You can never make it come on teh top. In these screens the content of teh page is not pushed down.
Please check the website : http://www.tridibghosh.com. This website has all the different modes "Desktop, Tablet and Mobile". Please check the mobile mode and check all teh pages. You will find the issue in the "Projects " link. All other pages behave perfectly, except this one where all teh parameters are kept uniform throughout all the pages.
    Thanks

Double tap with THREE fingers. Then go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn zoom off.

  • Click to call in Muse mobile

Can someone tell me how to use the click to call feature using the Muse mobile device? I have tried this code but it keeps giving me an error message. Can someone please assist me with this?
    <a href="tel:555-555-1212">555-555-1212</a>

You don't need any code. Just type the phone number (without any dashes or parenthesis) in the Hyperlink control. Muse will do the rest.

  • Can't make muse mobile fill phone side to side

In translating my desktop site to mobile, I'm trying to make a long vertical series of linked pictures that serves as my menu.
Instead of retaining the picture width in the layout, Muse, both in preview and online, sees the whole height of the page, so all the pictures become microscopic and pushed to the left of the frame. How do I make Muse know that I want the width to be retained and scroll all the content? Here's the site: http://www.stanford-creative.com/2014.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  • How do I integrate a muse mobile site to an existing (non muse) web site

Is it possible to create a mobile or a tablet (or both) site in muse and integrate the code to the HEAD section of an existing (non muse) site in order to re-direct on each appropriate device?
I have a client who has an established website which he is happy with but wants to add mobile functionality.
    Thanks, folks.

Any solution for that yet? I have the same problem lol

  • Muse mobile site doesn't display full width

The mobile version of my site doesn't display full width. It doesn't scale to fit the mobile screen as the set up width in Muse.
I found a tip talking about add "viewport" code to muse site. When I insert the code to html window, it give me a box said "unable to generate a thumbnail"
If add the view port code is the solution, how do I add this code to the <head> tag on muse?
If not, what's the solution for this situation?

One  problem where this occurs is that there could be some object (s) outside the layout page size.

  • Muse mobile site has a redirect loop in my subdomain

I have an existing site which I am working on redoing in Muse, but I wanted to get a mobile version up immediately. I got it working, tests out fine in preview and BC, but after uploading it to a subdomain (m.junebugjam.com) I keep getting a redirect loop with smartphone and tablets. Desktop views it fine, so I know it's something in whatever Adobe uses to detect mobile users. Currently, I just have .htaccess redirecting to BC, but I would prefer to be using my own domain (not too fond of the "Report Abuse" button.)
    Site is: www.junebugjam.com
    Sub is: m.junebugjam.com
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

So your desktop and mobile versions are on different hosts? If so you need to add the redirect script to your desktop page if on mobile and you need to direct it to the mobile domain. It looks to me like you have also created the mobile layout in the desktop view in Muse?

  • How to deactivate Muses mobile redirect

    Hey guys,
I implemented a redirect for tablets and phones right in the header of each master page myself. It redirects from desktop website to tablet/phone website AND it redirects you if you are on the wrong page. For instance a desktop user lands on the tablet version, so he is redirected to desktop. Therefor it works fine, but I noticed for the tablet that first it is redirected to the phone website and second goes to tablet website. Even more, if a mobile user selects in the browser desktop-version it ends up in loop.
I figured out, that Muse uses its own redirect code and mess it all up, but I have no idea how to stop it. I have no checkbox in page properties as i have seen in many tutorials. Only possibility I see to put all Desktop/Tablet/Phone websites in Muses desktop screen and delet tablet and phone tab.

omg I am embarrassed, usually I am kinda computer pro. I have always looked it up by right clicking on the website and choose "Seiteneigenschaften" thinking that it is site properties in english, but I have never considered that under file->site properties a total different menu is. Thank you very much for the fast response.

  • Muse Mobile and Tablet questions!

    Hi Everyone!
I have a couple of questions:
    1. For one of my web pages I didn't make tablet layout. It's not an empty layout - it's not activated at all. That page is not visible on iPads. Is this because there is not tablet version and I need to make that or is that something else?
Why desktop is not visible on tablets (iPad in this case - didnt try android yet).
    2. On mobiles, (layout is 380 pixels wide) android for example, when I open that site, pages are "too wide", I can move left/right a little bit, but when I tap twice it fits to the screen. I want to have everything nice on each mobile device without any action from the user. I heard about code to paste (viewport code): "<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0"". I put this into page properties/metadata, was fine with vertical layout, but with horizontal viewing on mobile, things like full background photo slide show or other elements were displayed completely wrong. I didn't try to paste viewport code as a html in each page. Is that a reason for the problem, or is that something else? If not viewport code, what to do for universal page dimensions if something like that is possible to set at all?
    3. The last problem so far to me is, when I have some images in vertical layout on mobile, lets say it looks ok. Looking in horizontal, pictures are zoomed in, and they look blurry. I see same thing viewing some mobile templates for example at themeforest.net. What to do, to get nice sharp looking image on both layouts? Is responsive widget (different pictures depends on size displayed) the answer? I know about retina (retina@x2) images, but that probably would help just for retina displays. What to do to have nice sharp looking images on both layouts on mobile version? Probably same problem is viewing tablet site at different layouts, when horizontal will be zoomed in (stretched to the sides) to fill the browser window.
I hope someone can help me.
    Do appreciate it!
    Luke.

  • Do I need to use additional  mobile PayPal code to use a PayPal button on Muse Mobile Site

    Hi guys n gals
I have designed a mockup Mobile (Phone) site using Adobe Muse (latest version) and uploaded to business catalyst see here HOME (Only on a Phone).
Under Concert Travel Tickets, I have included some PayPal buttons using the same PayPal code as is on the existing live site (Joomla) here http://halpennytravel.com/index.php?option=com_concertandevents&view=concertandevents&Item id=63
I get an error on the mobile phone site.
However, when I access the PayPay button on my phone using the actual link (from the live Joomla site)  using Google or Safari - it works and I am asked for payment.
Could it be that because the phone site is temporarily hosted on halpenny.businesscatalyst.com - that is causing the problem.
Or is there any difference in a PayPal button and code for a Desktop Website or a Mobile Version website in Adobe Muse?
    Many Thanks

    Hi
I am afraid, its not possible to have the page name without ".html" extension as Muse by default attach the same extension to every page you create.

  • Muse Mobile Apps

Team Muse, this would be a great addition for us to offer our clients! Android and Apple friendly.  How hard could it be? (sarcasm)

Actually, I have installed apps on my phone that are nothing more than an app the opens up a browser within the app.  With Muse, I can build a mobile app that has the same behaviors as a typical app.  Is there a program out there that would marry the two together? Anyone familiar with this?

  • Muse mobile version shifting left

    Hello,
My site I designed for my client looks great and I love Muse! However when I view it on phone and tablet it is shifting left.
All looks good but the shift. I reviewed my artwork to make sure no graphics were floating out there and everything is clean.
I also created a phone version which it is not picking up. Please take a look and let me know what I can do to fix this issue.

    Thanks you,

    QUE graphics

    That was not it.
However I did fix it. In brower fill the tab that says "scroll" and the box that you can check called "motion", it was checked. I removed it and now it fits nicely in my mobile window and does not shift left anymore!  Also my site on desktops does not shift left to right either which is the way I want it.
Somthing I would of never thought of but I was trying everything to get this to work.

  • Is muse  mobile code "google friendly"?

i have built two mobile sites with muse, and they seem to work fine, but now i am reading all this stuff about google's new ranking system. i had hoped to drop a url into their analyzing tester, but muse is not one of the apps they list.
i don't want to charge clients for this work and have them discover somewhere else that what i did is still not "google-friendly".
    any advice, knowledge, etc?

    hi,
that article sure is correct that the google test is inconsistent.
it gave me AWESOME  on both sites and then gave me  errors other times.
here is one of their suggestions.  what does this mean?
    Consider Fixing:
    Configure the viewport
Your page specifies a fixed-width mobile viewport. Consider using a responsive viewport to allow your page to render properly on all devices.
Configuring a viewport specifying width=device-widthinstead of width=380 will allow your page to adapt for devices of various widths. This may require additional work if the styling on your page relies on a fixed-width layout.
since i am not writing code and had better not mess with it, how can i fix it?
this was suggested on the michelbobs.com mobile site.

  • Muse mobile site and desktop site

I have made two seperate muse sites, one mobile and tablet and the other desktop.
I want to put them together?? With having to redo either of them, there must be a way

Using Muse, I was wondering if there is a way to convert a website that is already built into a mobile website. I have no idea how the website was originally built. My client is asking me to build a mobile site for his current site without touching his desktop site. His site was originally built in Dreamweaver I think but he have no way of finding the files and lost contact with his original designer. We don't want to start a new site from scratch with a new domain because he is afraid of losing his seo work.
In other words. My client site was build in Dreamweaver or something else. I am not a programer and was going to use muse to make his mobile site. So the question is how do I link a muse made mobile site to his desktop site?
    Thank you.
