Mutilple excelsheets to unixserver

Hi ,
I've created two sheets with the data in singleworkbook . Now I need to have tha same in applicationserver.
Ex :
One excel workbook is having two excel sheets and this needs to be saved in applicationserver . If i download this and open it , it should have the same two sheets with the data.

Not sure of coding. But can give you a pointer.
Can you try to debug CG3Z T-code with which we can upload the files to application server from PC? Upload a file with multiple sheets. Now download the same file using CG3Y. If your are able to see both the sheets in the downloaded file, then you can debug and see how SAP is handling this scenario!!!

Suresh, your html specifies an image at resources/images/privacy.gif - is that
image in your repository at the correct relative position to where yout html is?
Your html and repository structure must match. So if the html you posted is at
/BEA Repository/foo.html
then privacy.gif must be at /BEA Repository/resources/images/privacy.gif

S_ALR_87012284 Report when exported to Excelsheet shows as empty

Hi all,
When the report S_ALR_87012284 is executed , it gives an ALV Grid output. But when exported to excelsheet by clicking on Microsoft Excel View, it is showing as empty. This is happening to end-users.
But when I executed the transaction in my system, it is working fine.
Could this be because of language settings of the Microsoft Excel...?
They are using the Chinese version of MS Excel.

This could be due the excel security settings. Ask the user to do this when he see a blank excel report. Click on tools-Macro-Security. Security Level should be Medium. In the next tab Trusted Publishers both the check boxes should be checked on and Press OK. Now go back out of the report and execute once again to go back to excel. The user should now see the report in excel.

Include variables in excelsheet sent from Broadcaster

when I mail the report as a excel attachment - is there any way I can include the variable's that have been passed thru variant be displayed in the excelsheet - just like the way we get when we do a PDF - default print version- with all the variables, dynamic and static filters. I tried playing around, but not sure where I should be looking at - at the Query Precalculation template or is there some setting in broadcaster wizard or just some other IMG config.

just execute the exelfile with the Windows "start" command:
Runtime.exec("cmd /c start "+excelFileName);But this requires that Excel is the default application for the Excel file type (*.xls). You can test this by simply typing "start myTestExcel.xls" in a dos box.

I want to open an Existing Excelsheet template present on my Application or Presentation Server. And then i want to fill this sheet with data present in the system.

The template which i am using to generate the Excel sheet, has got some Logo. After a gap of 3 lines( Rows) , i have got some theree input fields, where i would like to fill some details.
And after thease three input fields, we a have a gap of 2 lines( Rows) and i need to display a Tabular structure. The row name of this structure us already defined in Excel sheet and i need to fill this table, with my runtime data.
So to make a summary, i have already an Template of Excel. But i dont know , how can i access the different areas of this Excelsheet and fill them with data, without disturbing the existing format.

I would like to know if i am creating a variable prompt with sql results and selecting user input as Choice List,and checking the Enable user to select mutilple values checkbox and also Require User input checkbox,Will i be able to select mutilple values or not because now i am not able to do so?I am able to select only single value

Not easy. Your best bet is probably to convert it to another format (e.g. CSV). You could get the user to do that before upload, or you could use an online converter such as Google Docs to do it for them. If you have your own server, there are various server-side components that can handle xls.

I have a CSV file with 4 columns(fromdate, todate, name, hours) and in the same way i do have 4 columns table named as excelsheettable, into this excelsheettable user will upload every month one CSV file and with the help of below all the information/data of the CSV file is loaded into excelsheettable

Hence how can I do that, does anybody has idea.??, plz do lemme know if you need any more req.
Do anybody want to me set an example on apex workspaces.

Deep,
If you can mark the already loaded rows in such a way after you process them, then when you do your calculations through a sql statement, you can use a where clause to look for ONLY those rows that haven't been marked as processed..

I think you shouldn't try to modifiy local files from a server application for security reasons.
But, let's say you have your reasons.
In your BSP, you have a link that points to an MS Excel file. Clicking this link will open the file in MS Excel and users will be able to modify and register it (and save the file in another path/name...).
Another solution would be: create a table form (like ALV?) from the Excel file and save any modifications of the table form into the Excel file. Maybe HTMLB can supports such approach but I don't know HTMLB. I only use HTML and ABAP.
All I said here is just overview of potential solutions. I'm not sure I exactly understood your need. Perhaps other Experts would have better answer for you.

User-Variabelen in ein vorher ausgewähltes(mit SUD) Excelsheet übertragen.

die Applikation ist ein vom SUD gesteuerter DAC. Über Dialog-Buttons können Messwerte angezeigt bzw. gemessen werden.
Die gemessenen Daten werden gemittelt u. in User-Variabelen abgelegt.
Mit einem Button soll eine Exclevorlage ausgewählt werden. In diese Vorlage mit der aktuellen Tabelle sollen nach jeder Messung die Variabelen übertragen werden (manuell via Button).
Die entsprechenden Zeilen(user Variabele,Kanäle)werden in einem Setup-Dialog vorher festgelegt(ComboBox).
Die entsprechende Spalte(user Variabele) wird vor der Übertragung nach Excel gewählt (ComboBox).
alle bisher gefundenen Beispiele öffnen bei jeder Übertragung eine neue Tabelle bzw. ein neues Sheet in Excel.
Ist es möglich auf "ein" aktives Excel-Sheet mit user Variabelen zuzugreifen.

das Beispiel Expl_Ole.vbs habe ich mit wenig Erfolg eingebaut u. getestet.
Bei jedem Datentransfer wird ein neues Sheet erstellt.
Die diversen Excel/VBS/activeX Befehle wie:
' Mit Hilfe eines Verweises lässt sich die Tabelle einfacher ansprechen.

> für "Tabelel" kann man leider keine Variabele nehmen

its fantasctic...it works ...its simple.
as u know jdbc:odbc can not allow u to write ,delete on excelsheet but allows only reading so i was looking for an alternative.
i got this link....but it is treating the excel as a File !!!! u can read , write as u do in a file ...that means i can not use SQL query here !! is not it ? but excel sheets are database!!

and then i would create a JDBC connection to get
records via SQL query (read only)I guess it's easier to use a real database... what good would it be to store the data in Excel sheets if you have to write an entire DBMS around it? If Excel is needed, I'd rather write the DB data into an Excel file and display that on demand.
