My 5 year old deleted photos from my ipod before I could sync...is there any way to recover the photos?
My 5 year old daughter was looking at photos and videos that we took while visiting the zoo yesterday. While looking at the various items, she somehow managed to erase a bunch of photos and videos from the device. I have not sync my ipod since taking the missing media so I can't use Itunes to get it back. Is there any way to recover these deleted items?
Sorry. They are gone.

Is there a way to recover the photos I just took using my iPhone 4? Doing the restore backup deleted my new pics!!!!
maybe if you've done a more recent backup before restoring from the older one... also, maybe if you've had icloud set up, you may be able to recover them

Is there any way to import the photos from a DVD slideshow I made in 2007?
is there any way to import the photos from a DVD slideshow I made in 2007? they are set to music and there are quite a few photos on the slideshow. I didn't back up the photos on a separate DVD/CD so the photos are all there but i don't know how to import them from a musical slideshow. Help!
Unless you opted to add the source image files to the DVD's ROM Contents the answer is no.

I updated my iPhone to ios6, whilst the update was happening it unplugged from my computer. Is there any way to recover my photos/contacts etc. please?
Did the restore complete?
If you backed up the phone to either computer or to the cloud you should be able to retrieve them. If the restore is done, try retrieving info from the iCloud. If the restore did not complete, when you do the restore, at the end you can restore from previous backup. -
Are there any way to recover the deleted images form iPhone 4
hello guy's
are there any way to recover the deleted images form iPhone 4
note : i haven't make any copy of the photo in my pc so i relay need for them
plz helpThe Camera Roll is for temporary storage as with any other digital camera. Although photos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer ASAP. If you didn't sync your iPhone with iTunes since these photos were captured by your iPhone and the photos in the Camera Roll weren't imported by your computer, the photos are gone.
Depending on how wealthy you are, you can contact a data recovery service to see if they can recover deleted photos from an iPhone's flash drive, but you will pay an arm and a leg for this. Such a data recovery service is not cheap and with no guarantee the data will be recoverable. -
recently "lost" a purchased song, (Plus the accompanying artwork) from my i-tunes library, after upgrading my O.S. from windows XP to windows 7.
Is there any way to get the original song back, or, at least, re-purchase it?... I tried to do the latter, (It's still available in the itunes store) but, when I clicked on the buy link, I was informed that I had already bought it and was only given the option to, either, copy the link or send it to Facebook/Twitter
I also, inadvertently, deleted a couple of default playlists (Notably recently added) while attempting to get the song back.
Can someone out there, please, help me out. with the solution(s). (preferably step by step if possible, as I'm a bit of a Homer Simpson when it comes to this sort of thing) .. Doh!! :-(Hello, MrKite549.
Here is an article that will walk you through download any past purchases that are missing from your iTunes library.
Downloading past purchases from the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store

plz helpWhat happened that you lost them?
If you have synced recently you could restore the iPhone and it will restore the camera roll to it's state at the time of that sync. -
iphone 3 dropped in salt water. Appears non-functional - won't turn on. Nothing on SIM card -- had that checked. Is there ANY way to retrieve the photos and contacts. There is no backup of them.
leave the phone in rice for >24 hours to see if it will recover
you can check itunes as well to see if there are backups there from the top of the screen hit edit (itunes on mac) > preferences > devices , and see if a backup is listed
also check icloud.com to see if you had any of the information backed up there (only possible if have have a 3gs or higher)
also there are data recovery companies that can recover data even from wrecked hard drives but its not cheap, if your interested in that I would say lookup a company called drivesavers, I believe they are authorized to work on even in warranty iphones
good luck -
I needed memory to upgrade so I exported all of my iphoto to an external hard drive. I then deleted and emptied the trash. The photos are fine but the videos are blank. Is there any way to recover the videos? Any software recovery programs apple supported?
no official way but if you open the Apple TV and put the hd in the external case it should mount and give you access to the data on it

Only an exclamation point shows up when I click a thumbnail in my iphoto folder. Is there any way to recover these photos by using the thumbnails? Please help. Thanks!
That exclamation mark is displayed when iPhoto cannot link to the original file. First make sure you are running a "managed" library by checking iPhoto's Advanced preference pane to make sure the checkbox to copy files into the library during import is checked.
If it is checked you can try the following: make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Hi ... I had to replace my iPad and I want restore from backup but I forgot my password, is there any way of recovering it?
Would the backup be password protected? I don't know ... After you restore from a back-up, and if you have passwords set up, would the newly restored iPad require a password or would it be "live" for 5 minute or however long the iPad was set to wait to require a password? Maybe wiser heads can advise...

I updated the version on my Iphone and didn't sync before ans as a result I lost all my photos, apps, and contacts. I will like to recover the deleted photos as they are very important to me, it's there a way to recover them?
did you ever do a backup. cause if you did say like a year ago. it should still be there and you could at least get the info back until that date.

Is there any way to modify the photo book size after I have created the book?
I created a photo book then realized it was not the correct size. Is there a way to correct the size or do I have to start from scratch?
I Found the answer after I posted this- CTRL D to duplicate, then choose new theme - Worked like a charm.Yes. First click on the book in the Projects section and type Command +D (duplicate). Open the book, click on Change Themes and in the next window select the size and type you want.
The duplicate is to have in case you find any text that was removed in the resizing. You can cut and past from the duplicate copy to the original. Also verify that the resized book has all of its text, not text warning indicators and that all photos are there and in the correct order.
Always create a PDF version of the book according to this Apple doucment, iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture, to check for any errors, i.e. typos, missing text, etc., before ordering the book. Keep the pdf file to compare with the printed version when it arrives.
Opps! Answered your question from the title without reading the full body of your post. However, the last 2 paragraphs are worth reviewing.

My phone has split up the side after I dropped it down some concrete stairs and now it won't switch on, so I need to know if there is anyway to recover the data from it, such as phone numbers, photo's etc. Anyone had this problem?
I've tried plugging it in to the computer but it doesn't do anything, and tried plugging it in to the wall to see if that will switch it on, but nothing.
Any help gratefully received! SteveIf it will not turn on - you have zero chance of getting anything off the phone.

I have photos on an old 2nd generation ipod nano, that have since been wiped from any other source.
I now have a shared photostream through icloud between all my other apple deivces (iphone, ipod, ipad, macbook air, apple tv), but I cant find a way to get the ipod nano photos onto the stream. The original photo files were detroyed with an old computer, that also had the itunes library to which the nano was linked.
The photos are the only items I want from the nano. Can anyone help? You need to copy the photos off of the Nano and onto your MacBook Air first.
The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos. So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.
