Thank you for your advice. I followed your directions, but came up with the same results. However, I did discover that whenever I open up the iPhoto Library that is already existing on my MacBook a certain set of pictures shows up. But then when I open up the iPhoto Library from the Hard drive another set of pictures shows up. BUT not ALL of my pictures are showing up on the iPhoto Library from the hard drive. At least the last two years of pictures are not showing up?! Actually, it appears that all the pictures are there from when I started using iPhoto about 5 years ago up until around the time that I got my iMac desktop computer and started using that (2 years ago). I have noticed that more recent videos I have made are showing up in a folder on the hard drive, but will not appear when I open up iMovie?! You may have installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.

HT1386 I am unable to get a two way calendar sync with my iPhone 4s and my mac's ical. iTunes syncs my mac's calendar to the phone, but not the other way. I do not use iCloud and I cannot find any menu for removing sync history as described by others.

I have spent 3 hours trying to get my ical updated on my mac with events added to my iphone calendar. Itunes will sync the calendars from the mac to the phone, but not vice versa. I have read every post which relates to this problem, but I do not use iCloud, there is no iSync app on my mac, and there is no menu to delete sync history under system preferences. My mac is fairly new and is running Mac OS X 10.7.4. I tried to delete the iphone from itunes and start over, but can't even do that. Now what? Any advice short of throwing both devices out the window?

This is the decision of the app maker.
Contact those app makers and ask them why they do this.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

Photos that were synced from a computer won't show for copying to a computer. If you want to copy them back then you will need a third-party app on your phone such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to a device, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer (e.g. their dimensions might be different and their colours may look a bit different).

I had the same problem when trying to sync my new ilPhone 4s and a fairly new iPad 2. I couldn't find anything in the forum about it. So, since my 4s was new, I called support and luckily I got a CSR with some knowledge. He at first thought it would be tough to fix but after thinking a minute he found the fix. The fix is:
Click on finder, Go, Home, Pictures, then click on iPod photo cache and drag it to trash. Now try syncing again. It worked on both of mine. No problems since.

If deleting then reinstalling the apps doesn't work, then contact the app developer for support.
It sounds, though, like your internet connection is simply very slow.
Try making a backup, then restoring the iPhone as new, and testing again.
