My wife has never used my computer to log on and use skype. Presently when I turn my computer on it now displays my wife's skype name with her contacts etc. I am unable to use skype from my computer now... It does allow me to sign her out, and log into my account with my skype name and password, that shows me that I have Skype credit and displays my profile, etc. But I am unable to use skype... I have been using my computer for skyping for a couple of years with absolutely NO problems...

Each iPod and iOS device has its own sync preferences with iTunes - under the various tabs for the device sync preferences with iTunes. Nothing under the various tabs for sync preferences for a device can be selected by itself.
Disable automatic syncing when your iPhone is connected and make your selections under the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync.

Well i was wondering, if you're not logged into Skype on my computer, will they still be able to obtain my IP?
I hardly use the computer and more of the mobile app and I already have an VPN on my tablet.

Understood. Here is how it works.
When you log into Xbox One with a Microsoft account (= Xbox Live account), this is the one that Skype will use.
If you want to log into different Microsoft account on Skype for Xbox One, you need to log into different Xbox One (= Microsoft account) account.
So, you cannot be logged into Microsoft account A on Xbox and into Microsoft account B in Skype.

Can't log into skype on xbox one.

I am trying to use skype on my xbox one and about a month ago it worked fine but now will not work. When I go to sign in it says you have been signed out of skype please sign into an xbox account to use skype. It just gets stuck in a loop like this. I saw someone had a previous problem like this, I made sure my microsoft account is linked to skype which it is, which is linked to my xbox live profile. I can use skype fine from my laptop or phone but when I try to do xbox have this problem.

Well I already figured out the problem I had changed my microsoft password since last time I logged into skype I just had to remove my xbox profile and then re add it with new password.

50L4353DB - Screen goes blank and unresponsive after logging into Skype

After successfully logging into Skype on our Toshiba 50L4353DB, I am presented with my contacts momentarily, then the screen goes black and there is no response from the TV. Upon exiting from Skype, the screen remains blank.
Here is the solutions I have tried to no aveil:
I have updated to the latest firmware
Tried connect through both a wired and wireless connection
Tried loggin with and without the webcam installed (Freetalk 7291)
Reseting the TV back to factory settings
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is the problem with the Skype app or the TV itself?

I have had the same problem. I first got the 65L7350U 3D TV, and did the complete setup. I orderd the FreeTalk video camera indicated as the ONLY one that is compatible with this TV. At first, around Christmas 2013 it was working fine, and the video was awesome. But, in the past 2 weeks, Skype no longer works. Presently when SKYPE is chosen, it will not even start, and the black screen appears, and stays till you exit to the cloud.
I have reset the TV on 6 separate occasions, and here is what has come from that:
Each time, I signed back into my cloud account, then booted Skype, and each time Skype asked me to sign in, as if it was the first time the app was running. I signed into the Skype site, and the connection was correct. I saw my photo, and my list of contacts, but then the app quits, leaving a black screen, and no response from any keyboard or remote buttons, except for the Home button for return to the Cloud. I do ge the screen that asks if I want to exit the current mode, and the only choice is yes, because a no will give you the same black screen with no Skype running. On one occasion in the past 6 TV resets I was able to make one call to the Skype Call Testing Service, and check the sound and microphone. It worked perfectly with the sound and the microphone, but as soon as the Testing Service disconnected the call, the screen went blank, back to black, and locked up, again requiring return to the Cloud page.
Apparenlty when the screen goes blank, Skype is still running, but there is no way to access its functions.
It appears to be a Software problem with that app, but I have been unable to find a way to delete that app and install either a previous version or an upgraded version of the current one. Any suggestions?

Noob here, did a search and couldn't seem to find an answer. (or I didnt look hard enough. ) So aplogies if these have already been asked before.
I want to change my iCloud email address, but I've searched around here and read that you can't change it once you create it and link it to your apple ID. So, I created an alias and was wondering if you could log into iCloud with an alias email?
For example if my iCloud address is [email protected] and my alias was [email protected], could I go to icloud.com and login using [email protected]?
Also, what are the proper steps to get the alias email to behave like the icloud primary email;I stupidly chose a dumb icloud email address and regret it, and if I set the alias to be the only email to be able to send mail in my iphone and macbook, can I basically ignore the primary icloud email and use the alias the whole time to send and compose mail?
Also, I don't necessarily need to know/use the primary icloud email, since I use my apple ID to log into icloud.com?
From what I understand, the primary icloud that is linked to your apple ID is mail server, right? I'm not really sure, to be honest.

In the Mail application on your Mac, add the aliases, separated by commas, to the 'Email address' field in Preferences>Accounts>General. They will then appear in the drop-down menu for the 'From' address in the New message pane.
They already appear in the equivalent place in the new message pane at icloud.com.

When I try to log into messages with my aol/aim account, it keeps on saying that the username and/or password is incorrect. Neither are incorrect as I can log into the account on the aim web settings page and on the aol page.

If you change your passord on AOL, for security they block your new password on your iPad but not on your PC. I downloaded the AOL application on my iPad and then used that to change my password on AOL and then my Mail on my iPad fully works. I then used my AOL new password on my PC and now everything works.

I have recently updated my IOS on my iPhone 6 and the most recent update for Skype, Since this I cannot log into Skype. I have the correct Skype ID and I know my password is corretc because I reset this today and then re-tried logging in. Skype still doesn't recognise my details. It is getting bloody frustrating! I am having the same problem. I not only cannot login to my skype account on new iphone 6, but app did not respond to a request to change password. I am not using 3rd party keyboard and I re-installed the app. Even though I could still login on my pc I changed my password, can login successfully on PC, but still cannot login on my iphone....

The iPad does not sync to an iTunes account, it syncs to an iTunes library. Sync the iPad again to your daughter's computer and uncheck all of the music that is currently on the iPad to remove it.
Connect the iPad to your daughter's computer, launch iTunes, click on the iPad name on the left sidebar under Devices, then click on the Music Tab at the top of the iTunes window, uncheck the box next to Sync Music, a dialog box will pop up asking if you are sure ... the music will be removed ... click Don't Sync Music, then click apply in the lower right corner of iTunes and it should remove all of the music.

Can Log Into ICloud with Apple ID - but wrong Apple ID is shown in Account Settings

So no problem logging into my wife's ICloud account with her regular AppleID and password. Once within her ICloud account, when you click on her name ("profile icon") in upper right corner - her Apple ID in the bottom field is not her Apple ID. My assumption is that it should be her normal Apple ID, (which is an AOL email address), correct? How can we fix this?
The Apple ID that currently shows is actually a "mistake" that has no password associated with it. It was created when I made an [email protected] email address for our daughter, so she could have her own Apple ID for FaceTime on her iPod. When creating that [email protected] address on her iPod, it told me that the name was already taken, and offered me an alternative, which I agreed to. So now there must be the original owner of this [email protected] address that is now associated within my wife's ICloud Account.
How do I fix this error?

I would say, yes, Google's OpenID might be risky depending on what a hacker wants to gain, thus what type of code is used. The website code for that uses a redirect to a page of a website, so it can retrieve your personal data from Google. Should that page become compromised and the redirect go to a malicious page, you may not know. Once there, even if it cannot access your information from Google, an unsuspecting user might be asked to re-login and could be directed to a phishing site.
I think zb420 may be thinking of IP blocking, as opposed to anti-virus alerts which would notify you if your AV sees malicious code on a webpage that you visit. For IP blocking, the issue has to be reported in order for anti-malware applications to add the information to their database. If it is a legitimate site, and the problem is handled within a few hours, as most are, your anti-virus/anti-malware would not help you with IP blocking, unless the redirect is to a known bad site. If the site is not fixed, it would eventually be reported and added to IP blocking by whatever security you are using for that.

so this is what i see... i've reinstalled skype multiple time already, downloading new setup.exe and this is what i get. it wouldn't be so bad if it let me log into my account though - when i type in my name and password and press login nothing happens, even though i know the right password.
