My credit card will not take, why?

I was purchasing and free download and it asked me to verify my payment method and I did just that and then it tells me that I was able to use the payment method, why?

There is most likely an error in the card information stored with your Apple ID. Go to this Apple support page and click on the link to manage your Apple ID.

Check your payment info very carefully to make sure all info is entered correctly including the exact match between what you have entered for your billing address and the address that shows on. Your credit card statement.

Hey all.
I'm trying to update my SSC-5 and it will not take any signature updates. I use ASDM and CLI and both times it will successfully download but it will not apply the update. It hangs on the "applying update" portion and then it just hangs.
I also tried the auto update and that did not work either. Any ideas??

Yeah...I think I found that one out the hard way already. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I want to get this issue fixed before I start thinking about the license issue.

TS1292 security code on credit card will not process

why will my credit card not prosses with the security code I am entering? I have already called the card company.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then, as you've already contacted your card company, try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Updated to iso7 and now credit card will not work with itunes account. What is going on?

When I updated to iso7 my credit card information for my iTunes account is no longer valid. Tried to update my credit card information and it will not allow my current and valid credit card to be used and will not accept any of my other valid credit cards to be used.
What is going on? Am I missing something or is apple hijacking my paid for accounts again?

Well no, not from my experience. Last night, with a balance of about $42 in the iTunes store (several gift cards this summer) I purchased a 4.99 app - credit card was charged, not the balance in the iTunes store.

I bought an iPhone 5 in Boston, "unlocked" . The salespeople told me it simply needed to have a sim card inserted, in any country outside the USA.
When I went to my local phone store in Greece, I was told this iPhone will not take a Greek sim card.
Now I have this very expensive phone which I cannot use in the place where I live.

I am certain that this phone is legitimately unlocked,
unless I was handed a locked by mistake, but I really doubt that.
I emphasized to them where I was taking the phone, small island in Aegean, far from apple stores and assistance, also emphasized my weak computer knowledge.
So far, I have only gone to the one local electronics store which services the national phone company.
There is also a Vodaphone outlet, where I will have an exploratory conversation, as soon as possible,
I also have yet to make it to the somewhat vestigial office of the national phone company.

For some reason this worked for me. I went into my account and changed my first name, maybe it causes itunes to reset. What ever it does my itunes works now.
