My daughter tried updating her iPhone 4, it sent her to the iTunes prompt, now it's stuck there...any ideas what to do to correct it, or get it going again??

If it was permanent marker, you probably can't. Lenses often have layers of film on their glass to reduce glare and distortion that would be damaged by any chemical that could remove marker. You can try very carefully cleaning the lens with denatured alcohol - don't use enough that it can drip or seep into the iPhone - but my guess is that the lens is permanently damaged. Apple cannot repair just the lens, but will replace the entire iPhone for either the AppleCare+ deductible, if you have that coverage, or their standard out-of-warranty replacement price. My iCloud will download songs to my iPhone if I go into my music app there. However when I go into music on my ipad it says there is no music and I can't download from iCloud either onto my ipad. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I am currently having the same problem with music that is downloaded to my laptop and stored into itunes/itunes match which is not downloading to my ipad. I had this same problem a few months a go and it was fixed with a update to my ipad but it has happened again with most recent update. The bad thing is I didn't notice until I went to listen to the music on my ipad and it was available. Apple is becoming very unattractive to me. I am in search of a diffrent device.

While updating the firmware Update, i disrubted the download and now my macbook won't start up! Any suggestions on how to fix it? i only see a black screen and when i press the power button i hear the noise that it would make if it was going to start up. But i only see black.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Hi all, my external hardrive is no longer being recognized on my Macbook pro after I tried to transfer some documents from another Macbook( that used the Lion operating system) to mine. i'm currently using the Mac OS X 10.6.8. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I suspect the drive got disconnected, somehow, on that other system and corrupted the drive because of the Disconnection.
Connect it to your system and open Disk Utility and see if the drive is even being seen. If it is all the data on is more then likely lost and it will need to be repartitioned and or just erased and reformatted. -

Also try settings>general>reset>reset all settings
If you have followed that article and restored your phone and set it up as new and you're still having that issue you may call and explain you followed the article and are still having the problem. Most likely they will either set up a replacement for you. If they ask you to set up the one time phone support agreement, and they assist you with a restore again, they won't bill you if they end up having to repair it. -

There is a micro switch inside the socket to switch between the optical output (digtal), headphones and internal speakers. It sometimes gets stuck.
Push the headphone plug into the socket numereous times and see if it frees the switch. Please do not push other foreigh objects into the socket as you may break the switch and/or the electrical contacts. -
