My fourth-generation iPod touch does not accept the correct password wifi. Help! (:

I was using the internet with it when disconnected and asked the password for the wifi, I put more but he refused. I have already tested other mobile devices and the password works, but the iPod does not. What do I do?

I did it and nothing worked. The only thing I did was update thefirmware, but I do not know how to do it.

If your Apple ID was changed from your old account, you may have to change it back to your old account to be able to sign out and then change it back after that is done. Take a look at the article below for more information.

I could resolve things with Adobe CC. I don´t need my old Acrobat 8, but I could finally install Acrobat XI Pro - and this time it seems to work, without permanently crashing down.

It needs the user password for the wireless router, that would have been set by whomever installed the router, if that was you then try to find the password. If you can not find the password reset the router to factory default and set it up again.

this is what worked for me i tried everything and even installed a new router, same thing doesnt connect even to the new router with a new ssid name, back up the phone, and restore it like new when you got it, and now the WI-FI works!!!, ive even try reset network that does not work at all, so best to restore the phone, i know it may be a hassle, but this seems like the only remedy, hope this helps.

Two things to try:
If your router is set to hide its SSID (network name) then go into the router's administration and change this setting. For some reason, this can cause problems with iOS devices remembering the network password. There's really no need to hide your network name, there are (or were) apps that could show you any and all Wi-Fi networks within range, even if they're hidden.
If you're using WEP encryption, try using WPA2. It is much more secure and seems to play nicer with iOS devices.

Sounds like your ipod version is too old like 2nd version. Call apple to verify. 4.2.1 is a Marker as the highest older devices can go. If itunes or your computer operating system is old or not updated it can say this is current.

I was connected to the Internet this morning with my macbook pro, and when I came back later, I was unable to have a connexion. However, all the other devices in my place are working with Internet. Whenever I try to select the network and to enter the password, there is a failure, and no access to the Internet anymore.
I m just able to connect with Ethernet. I updated the computer, and tried to restart, nothing works !
Please, I need your help !

try this:
system preferences - network - advanced - under preferred network - highlight your network and hit the minus sign to delete it.
now, hit the plus sign to detect your network again - then enter your password again when it asks for it....
see if that works for you.
