My Icloud email is down. This is unacceptable, please remedy ASAP

My iCloud email is unaccessable on all devices. I am awaiting important emails and not being able to access my mail is completely unacceptable. My confidence in this product has been shaken to the point where I will now consider moving my primary email address to gmail or hotmail.
Please remedy this issue ASAP.

My iCloud email is down for over 36 hours now. This is a huge disappointment for me. I'm a Apple user for over 20 years now and through the years I forgave Apple the (small) mistakes they have made through the years, but this is completely unacceptable. I've read that Apple is hiding behind the terms of use which is crazy. We users expect a certain level of quality and stability, apart from any terms of use (or is this a typical European thing??). Apparently they don't care, they take all the time to fix this problem (over 36 hours??, I feel like not being taken seriously).

When I create an iCloud email account, does this change my header?

When I create an iCloud email account, does this mean that my header changes everytime I send an e-mail? I have always used AOL and that is my normal email address but I've sent several emails to people who don't seem to be getting them(or, perhaps, their spam filters are putting them in the "junk box" and when they look for my aol header, they are'nt seeing it) I've been wondering if that could be my problem?

If you are using iCloud email it would be sent from your @icloud.com (@mac.com or @me.com) email address, not your AOL address, and the headers would reflect this. If you want to send from your AOL account you would need to select that as your default account in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Mail section).

That app, if you mean the one from Geminare, is not for Apple's iCloud service despite the incorrect naming of the app, unless I've missed something. The app is for use with Geminar's own cloud-based services.

Deleting iCloud email account on iPad 2, help please

Can I delete my iCloud email account, with was set up by mistake,without losing my pictures, books, photos, etc that have been saved to iCloud? I lost all my photos/ videos, other material when I hooked the iPad to the pc to load my pictures to the pc. I was told I should have iCloud, which I didnt before and everything worked fine. The icloud backup is using all my storage and i think i can delete, but it says i will lose all my photo syreams, etc if i delete. I want to delete the ICloud email, which I can't use or access anyway. Any help appreciated.

You should be able log out of the account via Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and you can then log back in with the updated version of your account

You need to contact Apple to get the questions reset. Click here, phone them, and ask for the Account Security team, or fill out and submit this form.
Whichever method you use, you probably won't get a response until the 26th. If you absolutely must make a purchase before then, create a new Apple ID; you won't be able to transfer previous purchases or iTunes Store credit to it.

Unusual icloud email address - is this me?

I have a very unusual email address for my main home account, on a provider other than icloud.
Let's call it [email protected]
Just upgraded to Mountain Lion and iOS6 - iCloud website (icloud.com) now sports an email icon and tells me to start an icloud.com email account.
When I enter AXDF1412Q as the requested user name, it says it's already taken.
Just wondering how that could be. Or, do I have something wrong? I use the AXDF1412Q@mailme.... for my AppleID - just wondering if Apple/iCloud computers in the sky pre-assigned me the AppleID as my icloud.com email address.
Any way of determing if this is so? And if so, how do I log in?

I'd like to know the answer to this problem as well. My Apple ID changed, however my iphone still has the previous appearing in sign into iCloud. It's greyed out, so i can't change it. If I want to delete the account, which I have tried, it wants the password for the old Apple ID.

So In february, I changed phone companies, went from t-mobile to another company. I had a phone with tmobile that I was still paying for, when I switched companies, I went to tmobile store and tried to return the phone, but tmobile refused and said they will send me a bill of what's left of it. I said ok, and left. That was in february.Now in july, I got an email from my bank that there has been activity on my credit report and I checked and I found diversified consultant collection agency is billing me $400. So apparently, tmobile instead of contacting me through phone, email, or my current mail address, they went directly to collections, and collections affected my credit report. So now I tried to talk to tmobile, but they said they sold the account, so it is out of their hand now. I called the credit bureaus to remove the report, they said thay can only remove the report only by request from diversified. I called diversified multiple times (they are very rude most of the time), and they said they don't remove credit reports, they just update as paid or unpaid, and they offered me a settlement. So now I don't know what to do, do I accept the settlement? do I pay in full? or do I fight to get it removed from my credit report, since it is not my fault I was not informed about the bill? and if I should fight to get it removed, how can I do that? apparently all parties are refusing to help, so is there a way I can get those removed from my CR? please help me here

The best thing to do would be to lightly dampen a paper towel with water and soap. gently wipe off each key individually. You can also use a clorox wipe. Wipe off any liquid on the computer immediatly after you clean it using dry paper towel. If the soap and water doesnt solve it then try some dishsoap or maybe even some laundry degreaser. I do not have any emails there - really nothing.
But it still says that I have 1.8 GB of data.
I tried to connect to iCloud Email via iPhone and iPad, but still nothing -> no emails there, but still 1.8 GB. :-(

Quit Mail
Go to your User's Library How to enable the User’s Library folder
Scroll down to the Mail folder
In V2 > MailData do you see Accounts.plist
Verify permissions by doing a Get Info.
You(me) Read & Write
Staff Read only
Everyone Read only
If yes, try renaming this file as AccountsOLD.plist
Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar
Log in and lauch Mail.
Do you still see your accounts? If yes, can you delete the gmail account now?
Repair Permissions might help.
1. Open Disk Utility in your Applications/Utility folder.
2. Click on the First Aid tab and select Repair Permissions
3. Click on the icon for your boot volume.
4. Click the repair permissions button.

ICloud email appears when I IMessage

As soon as I updated to iOS7 my ICloud email now appears when IMessaging to another Iphone. Why? How do I adjust this setting so my phone number will appear instead of my ICloud email.

I had this issue too. I checked the settings as described above and it did not fix the issue.
My other problem was that I was not getting any iMessages on my iPad Mini or laptop with Mtn Lion. I went into my own contact card on all my devices and made sure that my iCloud username (which is one of my emails, and not the icloud email) is labeled as "home". (the other options are work, other, etc.) I am now getting my texts (iMessages) on those 2 devices.
For some reason, one person I text to now has it coming from my phone number again, but others don't and that is really odd. So what is going on? It would be great for Apple to have some instructions of how this all should be set up so that we could fix it ourselves.
