You probably need to get a credit card that bills you at your US address, then set up a new Apple ID using that credit card and make your iTunes Store purchases with that ID.

The Verizon 3g iPad uses a mobile technology called CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards or anything similar, it basically works off a hardware identifier for the device that's built-in to the packet radio and registered with your provider. I learned from Apple store staff here in Amsterdam and a little internet search it is a 'hard coded' feature in iPhones and iPads sold in China. Can only be rectified by jailbreaking your iPhone. This problem ONLY exists when buying a i-product in China.
What my problem is, is that I fail to see why Apple should settle with the Chinese government about that government's wishes to control their citizens, and extend those same restrictions to faithful buyers from other nations. Apple should be able to provide me (and all the others that bought their stuff in China) a solution to this problem. If my iPhone had not been stolen in China, I would not have had the need to buy a new one there, it didn't make any difference financially and it was not made clear to me by Apple in China at the time of purchase that I was buying a less versatile product then that advertised superduper new iPhone 5 64Gb. I feel I have been cheated by Apple. Given my dedication to their products that doesn't feel right.
A civilized solution from Apple will be greatly appreciated. -

thanks. somehow after restoring it, ipod on my phone had another option to download them onto my phone (even though they would play so no idea) but then it allowed me to swipe the songs to delete them so they are finally gone from my phone!!!

I am from Canada and have the Unlocked iPhone 4 and the phone is on LTE network, when I bought Apple Care + warranty I was told if I had problems I can get it fixed or replaced in Hong Kong. I was told the wrong thing.
I was at the Apple store in Causeway Bay, one of the Store TL from Toronto works there now, told me China/HK iPhone runs on a CDMA network and therefore cannot replace or exchange my phone for me. Their phones doesn't have LTE network.. That might be a problem for you in India. Every country's network is different and I think it's a case of miscommunications.
The iPhone 4 comes with your basic 1yr warranty, unless you purchased extended warranty for another 2 yrs which might have coverage at India. The best is to contact or email: Apple Warranty in the USA. They're awesome. They reply you back quickly & very informative. -
I purchased (and have now deleted) Aperture from my computer and want to use only iPhoto. (Aperture was simply too much program for me.) How do I delete Aperture albums but keep the pics in iPhoto? Please accept my apologies in advance if this is a dumber than dumb question. I simply want all vestiges of Aperture to go away with losing all my albums. Any help would be appreciated!
Aperture added a second view to your library.
You now have an additional section in your Source list , called events. But this section lists exactly the same events that you are seeing in the "Events" view. Don't delete anything from there, or you will delete your photos. But you can press the "Hide" button to collaps that section. But someday you may want to use this list. It makes it very easy to move photos between events. -

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

The situation is as follows: I was using an O2 Pay as You Go but suddenly noticed that it was costing me 14 pence a text which as I am very hard of hearing I prefer to use rather than the telephone. I then saw an advertisement for a BT package offering unlimited texts plus other things for £5.00 a month so I gave that a go. I then discovered that for 90% of the time I was unable to get a signal from my living room where I do most of my texting so I dumped BT and took an O2 package with unlimited texts for £8.50 a month. Having said that I don't understand why I need to be careful about MMS charges if I send what in my lack of knowledge I would refer to as a multi address message. As you can see I'm new to this mobile telephone thing and I really appreciate the help I'm getting from this Forum.
