My iPad 2 message:  "hasn't been backed up...Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi." Duh...all done, iPad still locked. Can't do a thing...Please advise.

My iPad 2 is frozen. Error message "...hasn't been backed up...Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi." I've got it plugged in, backed up all data using iCloud but can't turn on WiFi BECAUSE iPad is frozen. Any ideas?

1. Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
