My iPad 2 screen cracked, is there a way to get it fixed (I don't want to buy a new one)?
About a few weeks ago my iPad 2 screen cracked. I don't know how it happened, but we think that someone might have stepped on it. It wasn't bad at all, but then it spread. One small crack across the middle & top, with a large "spider web" crack on the right side. So I was wondering if there is a way to get the screen fixed from Apple. Right now, buying another iPad isn't really the best option.
I don't know what country that you are in, but in the US the price for repair (i.e. replacement) is for the iPad 2 (from here) $249, and here in the UK £206.44 . If you select your country at the top of that page you might be able to find the price for your country and your service options.

Is the media already on the iPad? If not, iTunes purchases can be redownloaded if they are still available in iTunes. Non-iTunes purchases would need to be synced from iTunes on a computer. -
My parents bought it for me and I really don't have the money to buy a new one, andit's sort of my life. Is there a place in apple that I could send it or does anyone know of any shops e.g PC world that would fix it? Thanks x
You can set up a out of warranty repair for it via Apple using this link. They don't actuallly repair the iPod, but instead replace it with a same model/capacity that is refurbished.

There are also several third party repair centers out there who will be able to replace the damaged LCD for a much lower cost. Just do a simple Google search for "iPod Classic repair" and you should get a number of results to work with.

Thank, RicPrintopia is another option but be aware that since these solutions effectively act as a print server and AirPrint receiver, they require a computer to be running on the same WiFi network.

My Mac crashed last Friday. First timeIs there any way to get my photos FROM my iPod Touch back into my new hard drive. The iTunes sync only goes one way from the computer to the iPod.
It syncs the photos taken with the iPod (really an old iPhone 3G without phone service) but not the folders which I synced from the old hard drive to the iPod over the past year.thank you for the tip.
Yes, my computer was backed up. for reasons way too complicated to go into here, these particular folders were not part of the backup.

i formatted my computer and now i would like to sync my music from my iphone back to the computer, is there any way to do this? i don't want to loose my music. p.s. all my music that was on the computer was there privately, i did not get it from itunes.

You'd need to check local stores to see what their buy back policy is, but generally, I believe you'll get more if you sell your iPad outright to someone else then use the proceeds towards your new one.

HI.I have an apple TV and am able to mirror the image on my ipad onto the screen. However, it doesn't fill the full 32" screen. Is there some way to project a bigger image onto the Tv. Thanks for your help
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Mirroring won't fill the TV screen. The iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the iPhone 4S or prior an aspect ratio of 3:2, neither of these will fit exactly into a TV screen which as an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Apple TV will not zoom the mirrored image, because it may well cut off information which is situated at the top or bottom of the screen.
You may wish to try each of the settings in ‘Settings > Audio & Video > Adjust for AirPlay overscan’ for the best setting that suits you. -

No problem. It will sync fine. You do not need to do anything special.

I have 2 different itunes accounts. I have songs on the 2nd account that I want on the first but I don't want to have to buy them again. Can I merge the accounts into one or is there a way to transfer the songs to the 2nd account?

authorize iTunes on both machines for both iTunes accounts. exchange songs using e.g. home sharing.

I am not very tech oriented - I love my Ipod - had a library of 800- 900 songs - my computer was stolen, I have since bought a new one - started a new library because I could not figure out how to access my old library. If you have apple care on it you can take back to the apple store and they will fix it, or you can go online and buy a new sensor for it and install it yourself, they cost between $5-$10
