Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

Hi, Hugo,
In similar cases it helped to remove the GarageBand "Preferences" file from the User Library.
Open the folder
your home folder > Library > Preferences
and move the file "com.apple.garageband.plist" to the Desktop.
Then try again to launch GarageBand.

Apple will not provide that information unless order to do so by a court order. Your only option at this point is to return it to the intermediary and get your money back. They should not have sold you a locked device. Try to reset it. just press hold the on/off botton (ignore the red slider) just hold it then the ipad is automatically reset. dont worry about your file, there nothing happen to it. Godbless.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Holding both worked for me as well. The problem occurred immediately after going back to the Apple store. Just purchased the ipad2 and the next day the view account button on data settings disappeared. They had to upload latest update and that resored it. The next day icloud froze the screen. Hopefully this fixes it.

Any advice for getting rid of the iCloud Backup message on an iPad? It will not let me get to the settings to correct and it will not let me power off the device.
