If you still have the box it should be on it. Otherwise you might want to try contacting your Cell carrier. They should have the IMEI that was registered with them for cellular service on the iPad.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Unless you had Find My iPad enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did have it enabled then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it (as your tagline shows iOS 7 then it should be harder to remove from your account).
You've reported it to the police ? You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model then you should also contact your carrier.

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. My name is Ibrahim, I have 2 Apple devices IPhone and IPad.
Unfortunately, my IPad has been stolen yesterday!.
Therefore, I want to shutdown my IPad forever.
I used Find My IPhone app and sent a message but no response.
I don't want anyone to use my IPad, And its time to buys a new one :).

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
Apple can't help you find/lock a lost or stolen device. If you've can't locate it via Find My iPhone, or http://icloud.com on a computer, then you won't be able to try and locate it or remotely wipe it.

In order for a lost iPhone to be located you have to have set 'Find My iPhone' up on it before losing it, and it has to be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network (how else could it transmit its location) - if any of these conditions is not true then locating it is not possible. Once a wipe is sent, it cannot be stopped. You will not be able to track your iPad after that.

You will only be able to track your iPad if you have find my iPhone active and the iPad is connected to a network.

You can only restore the backup to another iOS device. You can't download it to your computer. Also be aware that Apple reserves the right to delete iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so make sure you do this before that. Also, you can't restore camera roll photos from a backup to an iPad. They would have to be restored to another iPhone, or iPod touch.
