My iPad was charging and turned off now I can't turn it back on. I have tried the reboot by holding the power button and the round button at the same time but get nothing. What do I do
I had my iPad charging on power not the computer and went to use it and it just died. Now I can't restart it. Any suggestions as to how I can get it turned on again.
I would try the reset a few mor times.
Make sure you hold both button down together until you see the Apple Logo.

My ipod randomly turned off, now I can't turn it back on....
I have already held the power button, and the home button, and plugged it into my computer.
Here's the thing.... I was listening to music, and then I pressed the power button to turn the screen off, well my ipod just turned off, and I cannot for anything get it to turn back on.. and it had a full battery while I was using it ( so it's not the battery either)
The ipod touch is about 2 years old, and I have never had this happen to me before.

why do I have to reboot my computor before firefox loads after it is used then closed then reopened but get nothing until I reboot ?I've been having similar issues although mine seem to happen when I import my own movies into Apple TV. After adding new items to my iTunes library and then switching my entertainment configuration to Apple TV, I get nothing but total blackness and my TV says it has no HDMI signal. How do I stop an app from waiting? I have tried to reboot by holding the home key and power button to power down. The app is still grayed out and waiting so it cannot be deleted. Also, I have tried to sync the apps from my laptop and tried downloading new appswith no success. Can you help? Thanks
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

My iphone 5 battery life at the most inconvenient times drains down till the phone turns off. When I plug in the charger for just 5 or 10 seconds, it will often show 35 - 45% left! I unplug the charger immediately and I have 45% battery life! That means I always have to have a charger with me in case it quits! I can't always do that.
The % counter isn't always accurate.
I'd reset the phone, which might help make it more accurate. (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears).
You might also try restoring the phone from a backup. -
I had been trying to update an app on my IMac and when it came to do it, it said I must close down the app site, in this case WeatherEye. However, I could not close it down and update says it is waiting. I have tried everything I know to get rid of this but it remains even when powering off the machine. Any suggestions?

My ipod touch 5g was working 5 minutes ago now I can't turn it on!
I have no idea if its the actual ipod itself or just the screen but when I press the button at the top, literally nothing happens and it was working about 5 minutes ago!
My home button has been broken for a while so I cannot do a reset otherwise I would, its at least 2 years old this ipod, but it's done me well until now.
I am a university student and I don't live anywhere near an apple store so I have no idea what to do.
Can anyone give me any advice? I have tried putting it on charge and literally nothing is happening :/

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My "Owners" is turned off - now I can't access my disk!

I recently installed Leopard (10.5.8). While working in it I had an external USB drive attached. For some reason things went hay-wire in my computer and I was suddenly unable to access any drives on the computer, they were all locked. Their icons had a mini padlock in the bottom left corner.
I tried restarting the computer, only to no longer be able to start up. After starting up from my install disc and repairing permissions, I was only able to get an older version of tiger (10.4.11) to boot the computer. I ended up having to wipe the new leopard install. Everything seems to be working OK now, but I can't mount my external USB drive.
When I use disk first aid it shows the drive is OK, but the ownership is turned off. I'm assuming this is why I can't read the drive? Please help, I have a tremendous amount of important information backed up on that drive.

I have an IMAC that uses OSX maverick (10.9..) I cannot connect to the internet because my airport card is turned off.
