My iPad will not allow both my pic & music folders to load. When syncing one loads and the other is deleted and vice versa. All softwaew is updated and I would have about a 2Gig reserve on my 14Gig machine with both folders transfered. How do I fix this?

I have updated all software on my iPad and iTunes in my PC. Now when syncing my pics and music folders one or the other folder is always dropped. I should have an unused capacity of 2Gig after transfer on my 14Gig capacity machine. How do I get the ipad to retain both folders like it did before the software updates?

Try the following:
Open iTunes on your computer, go to Edit>Preferences>Devices, click on your most recent iPad backup in the Backups list and click Delete Backup.
Further down on the Devices screen, click Reset Sync History.
Connect your iPad and try syncing again.

My iPad will not allow me to update apps although I have no problem buying new ones. It says "cannot connect to iTunes" each time I try.

Same problem for me, too. It happens on my iPad, iPhone, and iMac. Weird because I have great Internet connectivity and I can log into and view my iTunes account. I've downloaded three new apps with no problem. But my iPad shows 14 apps needing updates, my iPhone shows 2, and my iMac shows 1. In all cases, clicking on "update" and entering the password results in the message, "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". It's the same result across multiple WiFi networks, even after resetting them.
I'll see if someone at the Genius Bar can help and then I will repost.

If you have an original iPad, that is limited to iOS 5.1.1 and cannot go any further. All other iPads and iPad Minis can get up to iOS 7.0.4.

You will need to restore it. It may not sync, but the iPad's sidebar has to appear you can restore it and it will be as the last time ou synced it to iTunes. For more info:

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.

You will need to restore it. The sidebar of your iPad appears on itunes even if you dont enter the passcode. There's the option to restore it. More info:

Despite my best efforts, I am unable to remove iTunes 11.1.4 from my PC, this being made necessary because the original installation had a flaw and did not load properly. Effor to use the control panel, deleting dll. files, etc. all failed. iTune out??

And, of course, on startup, a window opens with the error and tells me find QTMovie.dll and delete it because this may be the source of the hangup. Also, in trying to delete iTunes, I get the additional message that I must get approval from the System Administrator to take this action. I am the System Administrator.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

Solution update: Disabled XULRunner 1.9.1 extension from Add-ons > Extensions. Problem solved.

HT4623 My iPad will not allow me to download any apps

My iPad will not let me download any apps, also in the APPS STORE it shows a '1' meaning that there is one new update, it will not even let me update. Also when browsing some websites like BT, it shuts down and reverts back to the home page of all my APPS. Is this a hardware or software problem?

Am syncing my iPhone 4 to a new laptop. It will not allow me to transfer music from this new laptop/iTunes to my phone. Why? And how do i fix this?

I have a new laptop.
I have music on my laptop that I have not purchased through iTunes (ie, uploaded CD's, copied to my laptop from my old computer, etc).
For some reason, iTunes will not allow me to transfer this music to my iPhone. I get the "red circle with the cross through it" symbol when I try to drop it into the iPhone..
Can someone suggest a way that I can oversome this and add my music to my phone from my new computer?
At this stage, I can only add music to it via the old iTunes/old computer that the phone was originally synced to.
