My iPad won't let me download or update apps or do a software update. Help!!!
Alright so My iPads App Store doesn't let me download any apps... It always says "(the app)" could not be downloaded at this time. It also won't let me do a software update to iOS 7.1.2 I have iOS 7.1.1... What could be wrong and how do I fix it?! I have even tried a factory reset. PLEASE HELP!!!!! thanks!:) (p.s. I can't do anything but use the internet on Safari.) also i have the model # A1430
Do you have any restrictions for purchasing apps on the phone? Settings > General > Restrictions. If you have a Mac computer or another Apple device can you purchase things in the App Store using the same Apple ID on something else?

The other day I upgraded to the latest ios7, and after I did that, the App Store says that I have never purchased or downloaded any apps, and that I have never deleted any. This is annoying because I have spent a fair bit of money on games which I played, but now I want back, but can't get them back unless I buy them again!
If anyone could give me some help as to what to do so that I can re-download my purchased apps, then it would be much appreciated!You must use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase to re download for free.

I currently have my credit card on my iTunes account and when I have no money in my bank account it won't let me download the free apps even though they don't cost anything. How do I stop this so I can download or remove my credit card?
All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

Seems to be an Apple or FB app problem. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be fixed.

The 96 videos are probably the space hog.
How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

Hi...I am new to this site and it looks like I posted the question in the subject box...my bad.
I have an Iphone 3G which is used as an ipod (phone service plans are too expensive).
I had some apps on it, Facebook being one of them. The device was goins soooo slow (not even 2G of the available 6 being used) so I did as instructed and backed it up, restored it and then put the info back into it. When I tried to download the Facebook app...it said that I had a 4.2.1 system and needed a 4.3 something system? Can anyone provide any help on this or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you in advanceSorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch. -

IBooks on my iPad won't let me download books.
Each time I try to download a book from the iBooks store , the book seem to be downloading just fine, but when it's finished downloading, the book just disappears. I've tried to reboot and reinstall app. Nothing seem to work.
And just for the record, i've got an iPad 2 wifi+3g 64gb with 5.1.1 installed, and 23gb of space avalible. I've downloaded books without any problem before.
I tried to download it to my iPhone, and it worked without any problem.
Anyone got a clue?Im having this problem also. I think it maybe something to do with badly formed ebooks.

HI. I have just bought a new iPad. I download my Times of London app and when it promoted me to restore my subscription and enter my iTunes password, it said I need to buy the subscription. However I know I have bought the subscription (I checked it was up to date and it works on other devices) and even when I tried to repurchase, it said I had already purchased.

How do I get the app store app back on my iPad?
Aside from what Rudegar has suggested - swipe from screen to screen and see if the icon is on another screen or in a folder somewhere.
Do a search on your iPad and then tap on the icon when it shows up to launch the app store and then go back to the home screen and see if it is there.
You can always reset the home screen as well to return the app store icon to your home screen. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
Bear in mind that if you choose this option - it will return your home screen layout to what it looked like when you first activated your iPad. Any folders that you created on the home screen will be gone, but the App Store icon will return. -

When i go to download an app it asks me to verify my payment information and when I do it says wrong security code when I asked this question before they said go to my account settings and I did all that but instill don't work I even tried my other card and it does the same thing. Only issue is its now wanting me to enter billing info when I download a free appHow can I get a prepaid iTunes card?

Your only other option would be to contact the iTunes Store, explain the problem, and ask if they'll cancel that 99-cent purchase. There's no way of knowing if they will since the terms of sale state that all sales are final, but you can ask. Go here:

it declines it when u put in a different card that has $ available on it? have u updated the billing address to match the new card?
