My ipad wont print to my HP Photosmart D110

When I try to print from my ipad to my HP D110 I get an error stating 'an error occured printing this doument.' the ipad does recognize my printer and they are both connected to the same network and I have no product updates available on the printer.

Your problem might be as simple as a print job being stuck in the print queue. Double-click the home button and recently used Apps should appear across the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and look for the Print Queue.
If that isn't it, what else changed? Did you change your WiFi router about the same time AirPrint stopped working? Some WiFi routers do not correctly support Bonjour data required by AirPrint.

Thanks for the post. Actually, we could have several issues here, let's try and narrow it down. Do you lose connections between your iPad and Router? How about the printer? I have a Photosmart C7280. I printed one day and not the next. It goes through all the motions of printing a page, ie Printheads go across, paper comes out as if printed, but know actual printing.
I have cleaned the heads, checked the levels of ink, and printed test pages to no avail. Can any one help?

Printing quality problem with Photosmart D110

The printing quality is very bad after we changed the catridge. The printer keeps saying that there is catridge jam. But after I followed the steps by the printer, the problem is still unsolved. What is the possible reason and how could I solve it?

Setup a typical HP AirPrint Printer
1. Insert the CD into the CD drive of the computer, and then wait a few seconds for the software installer to start.
2. Accept the installation agreements, and then click Next . It might take several minutes for your computer to install the printer software.
3. You will be asked to connect printer to computer with USB cable
4. You will be ask how you want to connect to printer, select Network (Ethernet/Wireless) and then click Next.
5. Setup will access computer and router for wireless settings.
6. Setup will ask if you want to use wireless settings (SSID and Password) to setup printer. Select Yes and press Next.
7. Setup will then send wireless settings to printer.
8. Once printer is setup, you will be ask to remove USB cable.
9. The printer is now ready for AirPrint.

Photosmart 6515 Wont Print Black Ink

I too am having the same problem as everyone else. I have had 3 printer from HP and always bragged about how good they are...All of a sudden 2 of the 3 went bad...the HP 6515 wont print the black ink, as well as the Photosmart B209.
I spent over $100 on ink for both of these and they wont print...I tried all the little suggestions.
This will be my last HP when the new one I purchased a few months back goes out. I think that is why they are $100 machines...they only last 1 year and you have to go buy a new one...
Very dissapointed!!!

As soon as the devices connected to your network the printer should appear as AirPrint.
You may ensure it is connected by clicking the wireless icon on the printer screen to locate its IP, then type the IP into Safari and check if you can access the printer homepage from your iPad.
If the printer conncted but still not being detected as AirPrint, ensure you have the latest firmware for your printer:

If the printer still not being dedected I would rather suspect the network as AirPrint uses Apple Bonjour and therefore require your network to support multicasting to operate..
You may test it by temporary setting direct connection using Wireless Direct, if the printer being detected without using the router please clarify your router brand and model to better understand your router capabiities.

HP Photosmart D110a wont print from HP Pav dv7 laptop, getting weird error msg - can anyone help??

Im running on a Windows Visa Home Premium OS, looks like Service Pack 2, and have not made any system changes to my laptop or upgraded anything recently.
Was able to print fine from my laptop on Monday, but 3 days later Im getting this error message: ""the job failed to print due to an error in the printing system" when trying to print a standard MS Word doc.
I can still get the printer to print fine by using the control panel on the unit itself and requesting to "Run a Wireless Network Test" and also when I've requested a "Print Status Report", "Print Quality Report", etc. But when sending files from the laptop it refuses to work.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know - desperate to get this thing back up online but unfortunately Im a tech idiot and havent been able to solve it yet, though Ive searched for hours now it seems.

Wireless photosmart 5520 wont print black

Printer wont print in black ink only. Have reset several times. Cleaned printhead. Diagnostic shows colors fully but 4 small stripes of black. Help!

I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues with your Photosmart 5520 and printing in black ink only. I will certainly do my best to help
I will suggest that you begin with following the steps within this Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages document. Those steps should be able to get the black ink flowing properly again.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, please let me know whether the printer is still under warranty or not and what country you're located in. Please feel free to private message me the country information if you'd like to keep it off the forums!

Black Ink wont print on HP Photosmart Plus B210a Product CN216A

My black ink wont print on the printer stated above. I have changed it twice in the past 3 days, still wont work. I then ran a print quality report, cleaned printheads, aligned cartridges, ran all the tests. Nothing will work. The color ink will print, but nothing black will. On the print quality report, the black ink wont show. The printer displays the black ink, so installation of the cartridge must have been correct. Is the black ink cartridge or slot broken. I'm not a tech savvy person so I dont know the term for that thing. Please help, and let me know if I should just get a new printer. Thanks

Since you have automatically cleaned the printhead, and aligned the cartridges I would try a manual cleaning of the printhead to make sure that ink buildup is not the issue. Solution three on this document shows how to remove and clean the printhead manually. I know that this document is not titled with your ink issue, but it is the best at outlining the steps needed to do that cleaning on the printhead. Open that first drop down menu option titled “0xc1900013 or no code displays with the Ink System Failure error message” and follow those steps listed under solution three. While you have that printhead out and are cleaning the contacts, take note of the warranty ends date listed there. If there is still an issue, write back and let me and provide that date off the printhead too.

HP Photosmart C4600 wont print using Airport Extreme

I recently purchased my MacBook Pro and accessories and my HP printer wont print. It would add to my printers under Airport Express yet wouldnt print anything out.( Always said 'locating printer') I've read other suggestions and none seemed to help or supported my printer. HELP ME!! : )

Is the AirPort Extreme model a newer rectangular model, or an older
orb-shaped 54M model with built-in modem, antenna jack & USB port?
Some printers don't appreciate the courtesy extended them by the
great AirPort Extreme's ability to connect various brands via USB
which otherwise would not be supported wirelessly.
I have an HP (all-in-one) that will not work as a USB wireless printer
via the AirPort Extreme (or AirPort Express) base station's USB. Yet
a slightly older Epson Photo printer will print satisfactorily through the
USB port in AirPort wireless base station models. The only failing, in
that situation, is lack of printer Utility function; it works only by wire.
Some printers are not supported in the grand scheme of things, in
regard to USB printing from the AirPort's USB port. However for
years prior to Time Machine and other official hardware support for
wireless connections to external hard disk drives, USB 2.0 HDDs
(storage) were supported by the orb-shaped AirPort Extreme base.
However, that's another topic...
I was unable to find a different driver from HP to aid in USB support
over wireless, per the AirPort base station. Other drivers, such as
those from http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php didn't,
when it came to my HP OfficeJet printer. Not sure about later ones.
The Epson model I have uses Bonjour printing to be seen by the AEBS.
