My iphone 4 is stalling a lot. I've had it for a year now, I have the most current OS, it's not too full of apps, or anything like that. Many times throughout the day, I cannot switch from app to app, unless I do a complete power-off. Any ideas?

I've had it for a year now.
I have the most current OS. I snyc it to my itunes 2-3 times a week. It is only about 25% full. It stalls (I don't know if I would call it freezing) between trying to switch from app to app. I either have to let it sit there for a few minutes, or turn it all the way off and turn it back on.
And yes, I know to press the home button twice to get the bottom part activated. That's not working. I'm not sure if this is a common thing, or what with iphone 4's.
Anyone got any ideas?

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

I use an iPod nano 5th generation. I have had it for about two years now and after about one year, I plugged in my iPod into my computer to sync more music. Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. I have CDs that I want to import onto my new MacBook Pro to my iPhone. I am not use to the new iTunes with the Mountain Lion software. I had an old PowerMac that had the Leopard software and I was able to drag those songs to my iPhone. I can't find that option. When I find the song I want to add to my iPhone, I tried dragging it to the top when it shows that my iPhone is connected with iTunes. Or how do i do this with the Cloud? I am new to that as well. Seems like it just held my purchased songs from iTunes.

iCloud only has content purchased (or free) from iTunes. Ripped music or music from other sources is only on your computer. As the iPhone can only sync with one computer at a time you should copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to the new one. It's in the Music folder on the old one, just copy the entire folder to the Music on the new computer. When you first sync your iPhone content will be replaced by the content of the new computer.
You can optionally enable iTunes Match. This searches the non-iTunes content in iTunes or on your iPhone and finds the original digital version on the Internet if it exists. This then becomes your backup. If you have music that it cannot find it will upload it to your cloud storage, but you may have to pay for the storage if it is over 5 GB total (along with your backup). iTunes content and Match content are not included in the 5 GB free limit.
Usually to fix mail issues just delete the account, reset (reboot) the phone by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears, and adding the email account(s) back.

Delete the preview cache. It's a folder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA, it is in the same folder as your Lightroom catalog. Do not delete anything other than the folder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA.

I purchased an iMac approx 3 years ago. We keep it on almost all the time, however the other night we noticed it was off. We did not shut it off as we were downstairs watching a movie. I unplugged the cord, waited 10 to 15 seconds, plugged it back in, wait for a few more seconds and turned it on. It started up and was almost done booting. Then it shut down again and I have only gotten it to attempt to turn on. (the fan kicks in for about 2 seconds and then nothing) Any suggestions?

Try that process of resetting the SMC two or three more times, sometimes it takes more than once. if that doesnt work I could only suggest making an appointment and hauling it in for service.

The Adobe auto updater is highly unreliable.
You need to look for and download the update yourself and then manually apply it as per the detailed instructions on the download page:

I'm not sure I understand the question, is the message tone going more then once?
Turn off repeat message alert here:
settings > notifications > messages > repeat alert > never
Some people have found this does not stop the repeat miessage tone,
if you are one of those then I suggest you contact Apple:

I don't know exactly what the issue is, but I think I do. Are you talking about what happens when you start up your MBP, full brightness, with power cable in - and when you're using battery only, the brightness dims? If so, this is a feature designed to make sure your monitor is bright enough while using batteries - but not so bright as to cause an undue drain on power.
I don't know about a cure to this issue, if indeed this is what you're talking about.

It means that nano was used on a third-party software or synced from different computer to sync music. Does that nano show in iTunes? If yes, then restore completely. If not, then you may need to head to Apple Store and see what they can do.
