My iphone 4s is retaining all of my emails in it's inbox. I have been deleting emails in outlook but they are not deleting on the iphone. How do I set up my iphone so it is a secondary account and syncs with outlook on my Mac?
I had that problem and seemed to have solved it by deleting my email accounts and then reinstalling. I think there was a HARD reset involved also, but since it was just after I got my new 4S (6 weeks ago), I'm not sure about the reset.

- Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.
- Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that under You can be reached at only her ID email address is listed
- Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with hers
Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores. -

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

How do I get Messages to sync with iMessage on my iPhone?
I have read all of the reviews and seen all of the intro videos for Mountain Lion and where they say that Messages from my MBP (using Mountain Lion) will sync seemlessly with the iMessages on my iPhone. I have yet to be able to figure out how to make this happen. I send test Messages to other iPhone users (using iMessage on phone and Messages on MBP) and the recipients are saying that they are getting my message but it opens a new/different conversation each time. On my end, I see none of the messages from my phone coming over to the computer.
If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be very appreciative!its supposed to be between OSX and iOS devices only, hence the iMessage name. But i am having the same problem as everybody. I send a message from my phone and it pops up on my sisters phone as the contact info she previously entered into her phone. When i send a message from my iMac, it sends it in a completely new conversation to her phone with my email address, or Apple ID, as the sender.
What has seemed to have had some effect so far, pull out your iPhone. Go to settings> messages> recieve at... then enter your apple id at the top if it isnt already there. tap caller id and switch it to your email instead of your phone #.
the problem with that is everyone sees your messages being sent from your email. But it did make the messages i sent from my mac appear on my phone....and the messages i recieved on my phone appear on my mac.
Its still kinda stupid how this app functions though -
HT5928 In iOS 6 I could sync my Exchange Drafts folder and view the emails. In iOS 7 - I cannot !!!
I cannot sync my Drafts folder from the Exchange to the iOS 7.
In iOS 6 I could sync my Exchange Drafts folder perfectly and I could at least view the emails (but without neeing able to edit them).
In iOS 7 - I cannot even sync the emails in my Exchange Drafts.
We are using Exhcange 2007 so this problem is common to many other users.
Pelase help with a solution. Thsi is definitely a crtical problem!

This is all about the experience and accessibility. I don't even mind if the new desing is beautiful or not, but if I find myself, like you, avoiding looking for my music, my experience becomes frustrating. I have about 35 albums of a single artist and I used to love going over them and choose the right thing for me, especially being on the road a lot, and now I have to think twice about even entering his name.
I really hope Apple will take those kind of things into consideration when they issue updates for ios 7, and maybe also give us back the goole search which was embeded into the spotlight search (which is really not that big of a request).
And for your 4s - get the new iphone, it's MUCH better -
Have recently upgraded the hotmail, but it has worked for ~2 weeks without problem. Also recently updated an Epson Stylus NX400 scanner driver for XP, but I think this problem was there just before. Recently installed Chrome and Safari (Safari is supposed to be better than most at delivering error messages, but I didn't receive any help from that). IE seems to work with Hotmail as expected.Chrome is slow and seems to require double-clicks where a single is expected, but it displays the email content. Safari also works as expected.
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Hi I lost my iphone 4 a week back, but I have the contacts back up. now I bought new phone.
so tell me how could I import all my contacts to new phone, or esle at lease how to open .VCF file in excel. or outlookYou should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

You don't need to do anything. iTunes will automatically recognise different devices as different devices. Just plug it in.
You can rename the device by clicking the name in the side panel in iTunes for your own identification purposes, but this name does not matter to iTunes. -

I have a question regarding emails being marked as unread when syncing with an exchange account.
In the evening I can see I have 10 unread emails on my exchange account. I leave them unread. The following day, at work, I view and read all my mails from today and yesterday, so that I have NO unread messages. When I then sync my iphone it marks only the mails from today as read but, leaves all the mails from yesterday marked unread. Only solution so far is for me to go through the mails on my iphone one at a time for them to be marked as read.
My mail account is set to sync 1 month back.
I have had this problem on all the iphones I have had.
I currently have an iPhone 5 and my software is up to date.

Is this email account only setup on one computer or several computer?
