After being connectred to a charging source overnight
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • When restarting my iPad 1 freezes on the apple logo. It even does when I try and do a reset by holding power and the hold button for 10 seconds.

When restarting my iPad 1 freezes on the apple logo. It even does when I try and do a reset by holding power and the hold button for 10 seconds.

If the reset doesn't work, you have to force the iPad into Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
    3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
    5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

    Try this First...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...

Now I've pressed Retry and Ignore but the same message will just pop back up. When I hit Abort it ask me if I want to cancel the Itunes update which closes the update process all togther.Since I wasn't able to complete the latest itunes update I am unable to open itunes on my compute. • Iphone 3GS keep loading in apple logo after restore to 4.3.5

    Hi all,
I have an problem in my iphone 3GS. It couldn't boot up to lockscreen and always stuck in apple logo but it able to sync to the itunes. I try many times in restoring to latest firmware 4.3.5 in DFU and recovery mode and also uses different PC, the problem still not resolved. Anyone can advise?

I would try forcing into recovery mode and then restoring again to see if this helps. If not then it would need to be serviced by repair or replacing the device which will not be covered under the warranty due to the liquid.

  • Why is windows 7 not recognizing my iphone? It was working just fine before!

It was working just fine before. Today I plug it in and nothing happens, it doesn't charge from my laptop, or recognize it.  At one point it installed the drivers again and it worked for like 2 minutes but then it went back to nothing! It was going to do the update but then it said something about my purchases and transfering first so I cancelled the update and then the iphone stopped working on the laptop.

Tried that already and nothing I'm still looking up solutions but nothing has worked so far.  I repaired the latest iTunes installer and nothing.

  • My iPod touch 5g won't turn on ???? It will power on when connected to the wall but only remain on the apple logo for three second and power off why ????

    Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37, and 40
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. Use the steps to troubleshoot security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See the steps under the heading "Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store." If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • My iPhone is flashing the apple logo and won't switch on or off

Hey I have just updated my iPhone 4 and it is flashing the apple logo, I don't own a mac only an iPad is there any way of resolving this? I have plugged it in to a power source to see if that will fix it and nothing works !
Also the round button is broken on the phone so this won't allow me to reset it :(

Sorry, but connecting in recovery mode would be the only option before getting it serviced by Apple or visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

  • HT201263 my iphone 3g Stops responding, showing the Apple logo with no progress bar or a stopped progress bar, for over ten minutes ..plz give me suggusition ?

Stops responding, showing the Apple logo with no progress bar or a stopped progress bar, for over ten minutes

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
