My iphone 4s will no longer connect to any wifi

It's been about 2, maybe 3 weeks since it's been able to connect, and stay connected to ANY wifi. It started out as not being able to find my connection at home unless I did a hard reset on my phone, and has since escalated to not finding any wifi anywhere, and if I do a hard reset the "Wifi" toggle is greyed out and cannot be turned on unless I reset again.
I have done several restores and have done every reset option in the "reset" tab of the general settings. The only time I was able to get any kind of result was when I started my restore via itunes, before I hit anything like "Recover from icloud" or whatever it said, when I tried to find a wifi access point it could find mine without fail, but ever since I get nothing.
I'm wondering if any of you brilliant people have had the same issue and if it was resolved without having to get a new phone. I have concluded that it is my phone and not my wifi access point because every single other phone or laptop in the house connects just fine, mine is the only one having issues.

If it's grayed out:
Reset Network Settings - if that doesn't fix it, then Backup and Restore AS A NEW DEVICE.
If it's still grayed out, unfortunately that means your Wi-Fi antenna quit, and it needs service.

My iPhone 5 has been connecting to my home wifi without any troubles, however all of a sudden, for the last couple of days it will no longer connect. When I go to Settings, it shows my the name of my home network next to Wifi as though it's connected, however if I go into the Wifi settings, instead of a tick next to my home network, it has the little pinwheel that shows it's trying to connect to it. The wifi triangle never appears at the top of the screen and the wifi never fully connects.
My wifi is working normally when I connect to other connections outside of my home.
I have reset Network Connections, re-entered my home wifi password, but I still have the same result.
The only thing I can think of is that there are now more phones in the house using our wifi connection so maybe I have somehow been kicked off?

Thanks for your reply. I had already tried the steps in that article and I don't know how, but a few hours after I reset my network connections & re-entered the wifi password, the wifi began working again.
Now some of the other members in the household can no longer connect so it appears I have bumped them off!
Oh well at least mine is working again!

My iPhone 4s will no longer connect to my computer. I recently converted to iOS6. I am not sure if problem started before or after conversion. It used to connect to computer (using XP professional) via hotwire but no longer connects. I tried connecting while phone was on and while phone was shut down. Neither works. I am not getting any indication that power is going to iPhone. I also unsuccessfully tried using different wires.

my friend using a good flaslihght, check your goldplated dataport conectors in the phone for corrosion/oxidation/dirt. most problems we see like this are because of bad/missing dataports. do you have a continuity tester?

There is a one year limited hardware warranty with all iPhones.
You can check your warranty by going to supportprofile.apple.com.
Try to restore the iphone as new without restoring from a backup. If that doesn't work, you're going to need a repair.
And if it's out of warranty, you will have to pay for it.

My phone just sits there loading on the the Belkin router option that is my home wifi. I've tried resetting my phone and syncing to itunes and nothing seems to work. I've also tried forgetting the network, then reentering the wifi code; this also doesn't work. Recently my iPhone 4s has stopped locating or connecting to ANY wifi networks what so ever. When I go to turn the wifi on, it will not locate anything. My home wifi will no longer be shown, along with any other wifi network that I normally connect to. I have researched everything, and tried every troubleshooting solution people have suggested. I am unable to manually enter information to connect to wifi because no wifi will even show up. i brought my iPhone to the apple store, and they did not know what was wrong with it. They opened up my phone, and said that everything looks great, and that the have no solution for me other than buying a new phone because I am no longer within the one year warrant. I am desperate to get this fixed as I am going over on my data, and don't want to have to pay for a brand new iPhone. I amy hoping somebody knows what could possibly be the problem, because everything I have seen in previous posts will not help me.
Any suggestions would be great.

If the Apple store genius bar was unable to fix it you probably need a new phone. Have you tried Reset Network Settings? And if that doesn't work, Reset all Settings? And finally, Restore the phone using iTunes and set it up as a New phone (you can restore your backup later, as long as you don't sync it). If the problem still exists after setting up as New you have a failed WiFi chip.

Same problem exists - iPhone will not automatically connect to my home WiFi. Even after I select my network and it connects. If I turn WiFi off and then back on again, it will not automatically connect. The iPhone screen states "Known networks will be joined automatically. TS3304 My ipad2 wifi 16GB will not now connect to ANY wifi network.

My router, BTHOMEHUB2 is working fine, as my iPhone4 and my wife's iPad2 connect ok.
My iPad2 has suddenly stopped being able to connect to ANY wifi network, both at home and local pub.
Have done a Restore. Message is 'Unable to connect to network'. In the pub, no message, but kept asking for password.
Any suggestions appreciated please.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
