The contacts list on my iphone 5c suddenly shows groups in the upper left hand corner of the all contacts list and many of the phone numbers no longer show. How do I get them back? I can't seem to get the groups word to disappear.

It sounds like you may have a group of contacts hidden. While in the Contacts app, tap Groups > Show All Contacts. Take a look at the User Guide below for more information.

Check the manual. Made sure the device is in discoverable (pairing) mode. If it's not, the phone won't see it.

Respond please!Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes. -

Help - anyone else out there having trouble with the new OS system on their ipad 2? I am not getting mutliple copies of several apps ont he main page. They are "collecting: in a pike int he upper left corner and the original application icon is no lobger working. I have tried a hard sync, and that didn't help.
It should only be able to have one copy of an app on the iPad. Have you tried a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Do all the apps work ? In the past a few people have taken a screen shot of their iPad screen and that has then become their background picture - so some of the 'app's may actually be on your wallpaper picture and not actual apps. Have you tried changing the wallpaper to see if that makes any difference ? -

Try this:
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

I have synced my iPhone yet it seems that only music that I have downloaded recently makes it onto my iPhone. I removed all the music off my phone to download the new IOS, and then resynced it to put the whole library on the phone. It shows it is available when I have Wi-fi. Is there an iCloud setting that I am missing?
It shouldn't. If you haven't already tried, try closing the music app from the recently used app list (double-tap the home button, locate and swipe up on music, tap the home button again), reset your phone (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release), then sync the music to your phone again and see if it "sticks" this time.

It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock. Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email? Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format? If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device. If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list. -
on my last down load of firefox, I not have two issues that occur, One every once and awhile I get a video ad that shows up in the lower left corn of the browser.
