My iphone 5s last night stopped sending out imessges even over the wifi they will not send. What can i do to fix this?
I have tried reseting the network settings and turning my Imessage on and off but still no luck. Sometimes the LTE will drop and then the 4G so im wondering now if this even an software problem or service problem. I tried at&t but i was stuck on hold for long that i hung up.

Canon stopped supporting Canoscan 9950F on Apple, but still on Windows 8. What can I do to fix this?
Upon upgrading to the latest Apple release, my Canon Canoscan 9950F no longer works. After dialoging with the Canon representatives, the offered me a "discounted price" on new hardware. They support Windows 8, but decided not to support Mountain Lion. What can I do? I have a $400 dollar paper-weight that I don't want to send to the landfill.

Note - if I have to replace this, what is the best scanner to use for film and negatives?Since you purchased Lion at some point, I wonder if the most cost effective move would be to spend under $100 for a new USB3 external drive, and install Lion and your 9950F scanner drivers there. Boot external when you want to scan. Drive visible to Mountain Lion desktop for shared files. The USB3 drive is backwards compatible with USB2. Western Digital has some portable Mac drives here. The 1TB is $99 at Best Buy in the U.S.
If you still have a machine running Lion, you can boot into Recovery and have it install onto the new USB3 external drive. Otherwise, it is another Lion download. Do not run the installer. Then you let Lion Diskmaker build you an external, bootable USB Lion installer stick. -
videos will play for a few seconds on my iphone then it pauses. i press play and it pauses again. why is it doing this? and this is for all videos: youtube vides, videos off the internet, videos ive downloaded from itunes
I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -

Maybe you could give some information. What error? What iP4? What computer system? What version iTunes? What does "lost everything" mean? All iPhone 4 are under warranty, take to Apple Store they will always help you.

Hi, whenever I try to plug in my iphone to a computer it says, "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED". I just want my phone to charge because it is dead. Ive tried to charge on my xbox, nothing. Tried a different charger, nothing.
Try cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone. Use a magnifying glass to see what is stuck inside, a dry toothbrush and/or wood or plastic toothpicks (nothing metal). If that doesn't resolve the problem your phone is broken.

Iphone went out, when i did get it back on, up in the top left of screen it continues to show searching, and wi-fi is grayed out keeping me from restoring it. what can i do to fix this?
Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can clear some glitches.
If this does not work, try to set it up as new device without using the latest backup.

I have a brand new IPad Air 2. My operating system is 8.2. I am not able to send iMessages (texts) to non Apple devices. When I attempt to, the name is in red not green. What can I do to fix this?
An iPad is not capable of natively sending an SMS or MMS messages. Those services require a cellular voice channel connection, and a data tablet is only capable of a cellular data channel connection, not a voice channel connection.
If you have an iPhone, under the settings on the iPhone you can enable forwarding with your iPad - where the iPhone actually sends and receives the SMS texts and shares them with your iPad.
Otherwise, you will need to use an app and internet service like the telegram messaging app. Or you can send emails to the persons cell phone via their carriers texting gateway (e.g. [email protected] if they use AT&T in the USA).
iMessages between iOS apps are separate from SMS texts as iMessages use Apples internet service and equipment. But the SMS protocol crams a short text message into the residual bandwidth of a cellular phones voice channel and cannot be sent over a cellular data connection. -

if you are to update your iphone and after it says the simcard inside is not supported, what can yo do?
That means your phone was hacked to unlock it.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it.
It may no longer be possible to process a legitimate unlock on a phone that was hacked/jailbroken. The hack can do permanent damage.
You can find out who it was locked to and find out if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Don't be surprised if you are never able to use it again. It may be permanently bricked.
