My iphone just deleted all of my future calendar events and icloud and any other method has failed to bring them back...any help would be great!
Have you checked that all of the calendars were checked, so they displayed? In the Calendar app, select "Calendars" at the bottom and make sure they are all checked. In the IOS Settings, make sure the right accounts are there.

I've had the same problem, synced yesterday and I've lost all my events in my calendar. Restored my phone,not worked, deleted icloud that hasnot worked,nothing is coming up at all on icloud calendar, and my mac was backed up when I plugged in today so not backed up on that. I was trying to Import photos to my computer and was asked to upgrade my Iphone before importing. In restoring my Iphone, it deleted all of my 200 new photos and they are now gone. Is there any way to retrieve them?
You should ALWAYS import all pics ( and anything selse for that matter) before any update.
If you failed to do this, then the pics are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. -
On the way to work this morning my iPhone just deleted all my contacts.
I was using it the next this i know all my numbers had been deleted and my favourite contacts page just has the number as do all my texts.
What's happened? Why has this happened?
I can't just back it up because it's an old phone im using until i can afford to get my iphone4 fixed as the thing just stopped working one day aswell and wanted restoring which would be great had it been backed up in 6 months, which it had not...This was due to my main computer being in storage from a house move.
Quite fed up of 'just restore it' they shouldnt really just fail sporadically and frequently in the first place...

Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for your contscts, which can be lost or stolen or have a software problem with all contacts randomly being deleted. First I've heard of this.

Got an iPhone 4 yesterday and cannot add events in calendar. There is no + button and have searched in settings but cannot see how to do it.
Also downloaded game apps open with a whining noise that lasts for about 30 seconds plus. Had to turn volume off as its very annoying. Any help pleaseDid you try updating the firmware or resetting all settings

It will not remove any data, just settings and things like ring tones etc -
Syncing Iphone and Iphone has deleted ALL contacts from Outlook - Help!
I have on many occassions synced my Iphone without issue.
This time syncing the IPhone has deleted ALL the contacts on the hone and WITHIN Outlook.
Can I regain the lost contacts safely from the back up?
I have over 300 contacts and don't want to have to copy them all in manually.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Or, it you've backed up your iphone to icloud or itunes, you can try performing a restore of the iphone. -
I recently downloaded and install OS Mountain Lion on my iMac. Consequently none of the new mail features are available and everytime I attempt to check for new mail or send mail, the mail app freezes and has to be forced closed. Also, all of my contacts are gone, and I am unable to import them back. And I just discovered that all of my calendar items are missing too. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

The Exchange server "(null)" is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable.
I know this works for iOS, but it seems like this will not work on Mac OS X.

My iphone 4 version 5.0.1 has just deleted all my contacts without any explanation. Suddently my girlfriend called and I could only see her number, not her name.
I went to contacts and there was nobody in there!!! Even more, there are also no contacts on my ipad mini!!!! That's weird. What's happening?
I have gone to www.icloud.com and although there are some contacts, contacts are not synced with the latest updates, I also don't know why.
The most important thing in a phone are its contacts! I thought that apple was providing a complete backup solution, but I am afraid it is not reliable.
What can I do? What can Apple offer to me?
Is there a way of restoring an icloud copy directly from the iphone? I have thought on restoring and updating to ios7 and ask for icloud to put my backup copy of today in the morning, but it is possible that icloud does another copy and rewrites the 7am working copy. I have disconnected wifi in order to avoid a copy on icloud without contacts.

I have the exact same problem and judging by the other posts we are not alone. The one thing that seems to be lacking is any official word or support from Apple - a "bury the head in teh sand" strategy appears to be the chosen response from one of the worlds biggest brands.
I took it to my Apple store and they were about as much use as chocolate over gloves and told me "this can happen sometimes"???? Seriously, this from an Apple Genius!!??!?!?
I have not had any joy with iCloud back up so I'm afraid I cant offer any help.
I will be going to Twitter and Facebook to try to get some action from Apple so I suggest we all do the same and create a noise that Apple cannot ignore.... -

There is no way possible for your iphone to delete message by itself.
If your having issue with text - contact your cell phone provider as texting is a carrier feature.

Trying to download SD version of television shows but when I go into purchased, it just deletes all the TV shows when I uncheck download HD when available. All my current downloads are HD. So confused.

I just figured out how to restore contacts from icloud....
Try this if you already have the contacts tab turned on in iclouds on ur phone settings:
Go to icloud.com - contacts
bottom left hand corner is the gear icon which is settings - then select all
This selects all your contacts then go to export as tv card or something like that
A window pops up asking u to save - save onto ur computer where u can access easily
go to ur email, compose new email & attach the saved contact list that u just saved onto ur computer
on ur phone open mail, then open ur email with the attached contacts
open the attached contacts - at the top it will say ' add all contacts' select that
then it will pop up 'create as new contacts' or 'merge contacts'
i selected create as new contacts as iphone 4 deleted all my contacts from my phone
after a while it downloaded all my contacts back onto my phone which I double checked by entering the contacts app from my iphone
so happy i got all my contacts back yay! i had over 400!!! -

If they're gone from icloud.com, then they aren't in iCloud. You could try waiting a while to see if this was caused by a server glitch and they will reappear. You could also try contacting Apple support to see if there is anything they can do at their end: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.
Otherwise, you may be able to restore them by restoring your last iCloud backup. Doing this is a bit tricky, as you have to interrupt the restore process as soon as your phone restarts while restoring, either by putting it in airplane mode or pulling the internet connection to your router. If you don't, iCloud will overwrite and erase any restored calendars. Then you can disable iCloud calendar syncing and save the calendars to your phone, re-enable your wifi connection and let the restore process proceed, delete any existing calendars from icloud, and turn on icloud syncing on your phone again to upload the recover calendars to iCloud. While this was written for contacts, just replace calendars for contacts and for the same instructions. -
How do I get a new iTunes account to create a backup of what's on my wifes iPhone without deleting all the photos and stuff?

When I connect the IPhone the device name pops up under devices in the selection column. Right click on the device name and select "Back-up".....
If this is incorrect please let others know as I won't be able to because my wife will have destroyed all computers in the house for losing her data. -
My iPhone 5 is not syncing with my iTunes 11.3, on OSx. I have just completed all of the most recent updates and have looked into completely uninstalling iTunes but I found my computer won't let me! Any ideas?
