Not an iPhone user myself, but I'd try this....
Delete the connection history for the hub3 on the phone.
Then delete the device from the hub.
Click on this link - http://bthomehub.home/
Click Settings
(If this is the first time you've accessed the hub, you'll need to change the admin password)
Click Advanced settings and then Continue to Advanced settings
Click home network
Look for your iPhone and click on this
Click delete device.

There's more than one way to reset an iPad.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.1.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I´m using a pc running windows 8, last version of itunes etc.. tried using different usb ports, uninstalling avast antivirus but nothing works.

I use Gmail IMAP and Apple Mail 4.2. One thing I find frustrating is that if I am trying to keep an eye on my spam / junk for wayward messages (as we all should do from time to time) I have to check 2 folders.
Is there any way to set it up so mail that is tagged as spam by gmail goes to the Junk folder in apple mail.
I know you can setup gmails spam folder to be the Junk - but I want the reverse - so the Junk folder up by my Inbox houses all the junk & spam.
This used to work - does not seem to anymore - or I'm missing something.

Yeah - you may have well bricked it. About the only course of action I can recommend is to restore as a new device via itunes on a computer (but that may not work).

Got an alert from Mozilla FireFox saying I have virus on CPU, however, Avira software showes nothing. What to do?

While browsing a Mozilla Firefox alert popped up, stating that I had some activity going on. It said push the start tab to run a test, I did this. The results were that I had a virus (Trojan horse and Malware) on my computer. To fix, it said to download something from Creative Technologies...I did not download - not knowing what it was. My Avira anits-virus software shows nothing. Who is right/trust, and what should I do if I encounter it again???

If you suspect malware issue, Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

If your phone is frozen showing the Apple logo, you need to try to force it into recovery mode to restore it as discussed here:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808. If you're getting error 21, try disabling or troubleshooting your security software (anti-virus, etc.).
