Have you tried another cable?
Do the charges work on oner iDevices?
Does the computer recognize your iPod?
Have you tried resetting your iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Connect the iPhone to your Mac with its USB cable and launch iPhoto. In iPhoto you can select which files to upload into the library. Once in the library export them out of iPhoto to a folder on the Desktop via File ➙ Export ➙ File Export with Kind=Original. That will give you copies of the videos in the folder for use outside of iPhoto.
If you want to bypass importing into iPhoto try launching Image Capture and manually upload the selected video files to the folder of your choice.

i have problems to disconnect my ipod nano 3gen. from itunes!
It says that it cannot dosconnect the ipod because there are programs which use files on it. So how can i disconnect it savely? Can i use the windows hardware disconnect "tool"?
+solved! it was my defragmentation tool...+
My second problem is that an old ipod charger only works with ipod 5gen and ipod nano 2gen. but not with my ipod nano 3gen. Is there anything wrong with it?
If so, which charger can i buy?

a couple days ago I went to charge my ipod but when I plugged it in it would not charge. i thought it was my ipod but i used my friends ipod charger and it worked fine. so did my ipod charger break and where can I get a new one .

Are you using a wall charger or computer?
Have you tried another cable?
Wall chargers and cable can go bad. You can purchese replacments from Apple or other places too.

Try "restoring" your Touch.
Restoring iPod touch

I was doing some stuff with torrents and now pop ups are everywhere. I deleted everything I downloaded that had to deal with them but the pop ups are still occurring. Does anyone know what to do? I do have AppleCare and was wondering if they could help.

I was downloading some stuff off of piratebay and I downloaded utorrent. I went back on my MacBook Pro later and found a bunch of pop ups on safari and a completely different safari format. I reset safari cleared everything deleted the stuff I downloaded and they are still occurring. I was wondering if it is an easy fix and /or AppleCare might be able to help me. Do I have a virus?

I would agree with kevin_, it sounds like you have downloaded some adware.
Torrents and piracy sites are extremely dangerous, and you should stop downloading from such places immediately! They have become very common sources for adware and malware on the Mac... really, the only common source, to be honest. You practically can't swing a stick in such places without hitting something malicious.
Stop downloading stolen content, provided by untrustworthy criminals, or you'll have this problem repeat itself. Next time it might be worse than simple adware.
