I upgraded my iPad (3rd gen) to iOS 7. When I go to iTunes and look at the summary and to the "Apps" list tab, iTunes stops working and shuts down. What can I do? I am using a Windows 7 machine.

down. Its pretty frustrating because many of my apps require me to manually transfer files into iTunes first to view
them. Not sure if the servers being swamped is an issue for me, unless they release a bug fix through another version of iTunes.

There are two ways that a backup can become encrypted:
You chose to encrypt it, then forgot the password.
If you have company-provided MS Exchange access your IT department has the option of requiring your backup to be encrypted. The first time you backed up or synced after installing MS Exchange you were prompted for a password. That is the password you need.
If you don't have the password any longer there is no way to restore the backup. -
After updating iBooks on my iPad all my PDFs disappeared how do I get them back? I reinstalled the app again and they showed up and thn they disappeared, what is going on?
By reinstalling do you mean that you deleted the app and redownloaded it ? Deleting an app will remove the app and its contents. Do you have copies of the PDFs in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library so that you can sync them back ?

My ipad hangs up after showing a message that says it "Cannot Access Find My Friends" and that I need to open the app and review my signin info to continue sharing. I can't go there because it is hung up. I also can't power off.

Hi, I have an iPhone 5s. I just downloaded the Hulu Plus app for my iPhone and in the app store it's as I can open it however when I hit open, it does not open in fact, nothing happens. Also there is no icon for Hulu Plus on my home screen so I'm confused as to what exactly to do I'm going to settings and there's only one thing that you can do which is reset. I tried that. nothing.
Have you restarted your phone?
If so, try a reset. Press and hold the home & sleep/wake buttons until the screen goes blank, ignoring the power off slider if it comes up.
Check for the app again after the phone starts back up.

I haveabout 7 App's that I Need to update.
However, when trying tot do so,the message I get is 'Can't download the app' (in Dutch).
The App, however, such as Pages, is no longer opening and can't be used.
What can I do to complete the updating process and start using the Apps again?Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page. Then run the update with iTunes closed.

When I try to log into hotmail on my desktop it says untrusted connection HELP!
When I log into my hotmail, I get a message that says the connection is untrusted. It says it is an invalid security certificate. I have tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, and checked to make sure the date and time are correct. Nothing has worked. It works fine under Internet Explorer. HELP!

Lost 4th generation Itouch. Any way to locate/track where it is? Can you delete its contact from home computer?
You need to have already set up the FindMyiPod feature on the iPod and wifi must be on. There is not other way except to find the iPod and then wipe the iPod. Apple will not help.

I installed the new IOS 6.0.1 and my iphone is slow, what can I do?
I installed the new IOS 6.0.1 on our iphone 4s and they all run slower and choppy...there's lots of disk space left and i've tried reseting and restoring from the last back up. I strongly suspect the new OS. can I go back to the old one?
Here's the scoop...my settings indicated there was a new IOS available. I let the phone update yesterday and immediately noticed that it was slower. Today same thing, so I restored to a previous, successful back up and phone is still slow. Again, I strongly suspect the 6.0.1 but thanks anyway...

You can try requesting that it be added to your country's store, but ultimately it's Google (if I'm looking at the correct app) that will have to grant Apple a license to have it there (sometimes a country's laws can also prevent apps being available) : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

I bought the creative cloud yesterday and installed Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6.
I thought the programs where "wrong installed" so I deleted them, and deleted the papertrash after that as well. Didnt thought about de-install them.
So now, I wanted to install them again but it dont work.
Maybe because they still are on my mac somewhere?
I really need these programs as soon as possible and Im scared Im not "allowed" to install them a 2nd time. Can someone help me?Hi,

Follow the steps mentioned in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html and then start installing Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC instead of CS6 as you have bought Creative cloud.

If the report is good
Try using the USB 2.0 port at the back of the PC
Disconnect all other USB devices
Dont use any other Apps while you are syncing or Restoring.the iPod.
Disconnect from Internet and stop the Antivirus or other monitoring software.
