My iPod lists same artist several times but with different tunes.
I tried everything including changing names for all entries and sorting but in vain. Anybody know the solution ?
Try right clicking on the name of the messed up song in you iTunes. Click "Get info." Change the "Album Artist" name to the same name as the "Artist" or to whatever you desire. Then, resync your iPod and the problem should be fiexed.

My computer will "wait for the iPod", then begin to prepare it for recovery, but the process does not follow through. I've tried a few procedures to reset my iPod, and connect it to the PC, but even with repeating them, it fails. What must I do?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Upgraded to 5.4 when opening lightroom get a message "encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and need to quite" tried this several time but get the same error message. Says Lightroom will attempt to fix the problem the next time it launches but that is not happening. How do it fix this?
Delete the preview cache using your operating system. It is a folder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Do not delete the Lightroom catalog, which ends with .LRCAT

I recently download a song with my IPOD Touch 4G. The song appears in my iTunes music library but not on my IPOD. I've tried syncing several times, but I cannot get it to transfer to the IPOD. Any suggestions?? (This has never happened before to me)

There is no such thing as an iPhone 's3'. There is a 3G which can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1 and a 3GS which can be updated to iOS 6.1.3.

why is it when i download the software update for iphone an error pops out when downloading is finish and processing file is being done...i've already tried several time but still the same result.

I successfully upgraded to Yosemite and tried to launch iPhoto. It wants to upgrade my photo library but gets stuck half way through. I have quit and tried several times but same result. Can anyone help?
download iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - and use the free trial's rebuild command to create a totally new library leaving the existing one untouched for use as needed in the future

My IPOD touch 4th gen screen does not display. The software seems to be working and itunes recognizes the device. I have restored it and reset the IPOD several times but the screen is still black. What can I do to fix it? your help is very much appreciated. I do not have access to an apple store since I am stationed in Afghanistan.
If you restored to factory defaults/new iPod (you did not say the type of restore your performed) and are still having the problem that indicates a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order..

Hi..I purchased a Pantum p2000 printer and I cannot use it. It gives me an error ( Stopped, Filter failure) I tried to re-install the driver several times but I still get the same message. I'm using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

I don't understand why iPhoto recognize the pictrures in the videocamera and iMovie doesn't recognize the videos and the videocamera.
I see all the pictures taken in iPhoto but I can't see any video in iMovie because I don't see the videocamera in iMovie.

So, when it updates the program is working but then it sort of freezes. Then unfreezes and then again..
hmmm. what antivirus applications are you using?
as an experiment, does the freezing behavior still occur if you disable the antivirus prior to plugging your ipod in?

When I open up my itunes library on my hard drive it says it contains 119 gb.I tried to look up individual songs under each album and artist.Every time I open an album it says the folder is empty.I exported the library earlier to an external hard drive.It took over an hour.When I look on that library it also says the files are empty,yet when open itunes and play songs they are all still there.Why doesn't the library list each song since it says it contains 119gb?
