This is extremely unclear.
You posted in the iPod Shuffle forum. Your signature line says you have an iPod Touch and you forgot the password...
Please explain the problem in detail, including the exact text of any error messages you're getting.

In updating my iPod to 6.1.2, I received an error during the update. Now, my ipod is not rebooting. It continues to display a screen showing usb to Itunes picture. Turning off and back on, it goes back to this picture. I don't know how to reset so that I can restore from my backup.

Does anyone know how to reset your security questions?? I loaded an itunes gift card on new ipod but when trying to make a purchase, itunes is asking us the incorrect security questions?! (for 1st time purchase) I know the questions are not what I chose because I wrote the questions & answers down when setting up the ipod. Any ideas??!!!

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Anyone know how to reset my iphone vm password (so I can listen to my messages) while in Canada and not turning on cellular so I don't get charged for roaming? Verizon says its an iphone issue and Apple says to contact my carrier?! I don't want to pay for roaming and I am able to use my phone fine and also connect to wifi while at friend's houses etc.
It's not a Verizon reset - under General and phone there is a place to reset my password however I can't do it without cellular turned on.

I recently had to install a new hard drive in my computer. This caused me to have to reload all content back to my iTunes and iPod. I have many apps on my iPod and i don't know how to transfer those back to my iTunes. Can anyone help?
Right clicking on your ipod in the device list an d choosing "transfer purchases" will copy apps and bought media from iTunes to your computer. Due to the new iTunes library on your new HD, iTunes will erase your ipod during the first sync. Basically it's backing up manually, transferring her purchases (apps and bought music), letting iTunes erase the ipod due to the new iTunes library, and restoring from the manual backup again, to get all the data and settings back.
Make sure your new computer account is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

My dad has itunes on his PC. I don't have my own but I recently have an iPad mini and an iPod. I don't know how to get songs onto itunes on the PC, using a different account or at least private/ separate..
So how do I create a separate I tunes on a PC which already has itunes... Or if not can I plug my iPad to the PC and use itunes on my iPad, and drag mp3s from a computer.
I'm not sure what the equivalent of a desktop is on the iPad.. And I don't actually know how to use the icloud either...

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions. -
I updated to OS X 10.9.2 and turned on Calendar sync in iCloud, now my calendar is unavailable and shows "moving calendars to server account" for 3 days. Not sure how to reset or access calendar. I can only force quit the app and when I restart it, it goes right to the same message. I have also tried turning off the sync in iCloud to no avail. Please help. I need my calendar!

Using Captivate 3, I am trying to link 2 Captivate presentations. The theory is that the user should click on a transparent button in one presentation and be taken to another very short presentation. I can link .doc and .pdf documents with no problem
