This old account info keeps coming back on my iPod and messing up access to my apple account and now the icloud. last time a system restore needed to be done to fix it....
It won't give me the option to sign out of the old account, it's that light grey color that you can't click on. And since it has the old email address that it's telling me to go into to verify the account, I can't actually change it... I'm stuck

When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

I have CS3 Flash using Flash Player 9 and Actions Script 3. I am publishing a progressve loading swf, which has an absolute path to an flv of http://www.haleygroup.com/work_images/basics.flv. The swf file is located here http://www.haleygroup.com/work_images/basics.swf, along withn the html, flv, and skin. When I click the button (configured by an XML file) on my web site to view the file, I get a flickering box. Other flvs in the XML file are configured the same way and work fine. See this flickering box at http://www.haleygroup.com/, enter site and go to "et al" page, then click "Basics". Any ideas how I can view this flv file? Many, many thanks.

I want to sync tasks in Outlook with my iPhone. I have tried Toodledo (not good) and Todo. Todo works, but it cuts off most of the text. I only get the beginning of my (long) lists. Any ideas how I can solve this problem? I starting to regret that I switched to iPhone...
Usually if you have some kind of hardware failure there is some beeping during POST or most motherboards now have LED indicators to produce and error message based on the type of failure
So if its bad memory, not place properly, mismatched, processor not inserted properly, mismatched voltage or voltage connector not present etc it beeps or generates the error id.
Power supplies can be tested for failure. There are some walk throughs for testing just them with a switch, paperclip or a jumper (I'd suggest not doing this if you are not familiar with the dangers of electricity).
Memory can be tested with memory diagnostics programs like Memtest+
Processors can overheat if the proper precautions have not been taken usually you will get a POST beep or error code for that.
If the motherboard has no response then do the basics first:
Check power connectors and power supply. Once you determine that is not the case move on to other items like graphics cards in all the way or memory. -
Why can't I open and retrieve my files from iPhoto and my Address Book after importing the files from my Power Mac G5 to my new Mac Pro? I get a warning that says the new OS on my Pro doesn't open files from a Power Mac. Any idea how I can fix this?
For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost). -

Question # 1 is what do you mean by "inherited"? Is this a case where the computer belonged to someone else? Your user would not be entitled to use a program licensed to someone else.

Thanks.If the tunes have DRM and they are not from your iTS account then you will need to have the password of the account that purchased the tunes. If the tunes have no DRM then you should be able to play the tunes with no problem.
