My iPod Touch won't show up on my iTunes and I've tried all the suggestions on the support page. What do I do now?
I've had my iPod Touch for a couple years now and I went to upload music and a movie on it today and my Macbook wouldn't recognize it. I tried the two other macs in my house and none of them recognized it. I tried all the suggsetions from the support page, but none of them helped. What else can I do?

After reading all the suggestions, i have reset and all data and media has been removed. Upon restart, I get the "connect to itunes" icon, however cannot proceeed past this page, as the ipod is not recognized on my PC, nor itunes. The cable is fine and works fine for my iphone, I have verified that Apple mobile software is active, etc. HELP?Try DFU mode and then restore

I was using itunes today and left the room for five minutes and came back. Now my ipod touch will not show up on my itunes and i can not download anymore songs. i had downloaded 31 songs today. is that why?

My iphone 5 and 2 ipod touches will not show up on my itunes when i connect them to my laptop. I have tried different cables, restarted the mobile thing, uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, it is only on my laptop that has Windows 8. My dekstop with Windows 7 is fine will recognize them. This has been going on for over a week.. What is going on?

Start here. Is ti normal and expected for the computer to also see the iPod as a comera since that is how you get saved photos from the iPod to the computer.

My iPod touch doesn't show up in my macbook desktop. This prevents me from copying data into it. What can I do? It does however, show up in itunes so that is not a problem. Only started happening after I got mountain lion. If that helps.

try to restore in itunes bye putting in recovey mode turn the ipod off press the home button and plug in the ipod into the computer. an itunes shuld see it in recovery mode and click restore. and that should do the trick.
