My Itunes had an error while updating, now have to reinstall, but keep getting errors
It keeps saying "Runtime error, had trouble running Library" (or something similar). Then it says to "Reinstall Itunes", but everytime I try (the regular way, AND manually", it tells me it downloaded, but then I get that same "Runtime Error" message.

To free up hard drive space the best bet is to move data files that you don't need access to all the time. Likely candidates are music, video, and photos. Things like word processing and spreadsheet files can also be moved but they tend not to be very large and so don't free up much space. The problem with moving the above mentioned files is that iTunes and iPhoto need to know where the files are stored.
Here's an article explaining how to move the iTunes folder. You can move the iPhoto library using the Finder but there is a slight complication. Start iPhoto, open the Preferences and click on the Advanced tab. The first option is "Copy items to the iPhoto Library". If this option is checked, copy the iPhoto library to your external folder (drag it from the Pictures folder to your external drive) and then delete it from your Picture folder. If this option is not checked, it is a bit more complicated and we'll need to talk a bit. -
I have two iPads one has iOS 7.0.4 the other has 5.1.1 have tried to update the 5.1.1 but keep getting message no update available

I updated itunes today and now i have the following error:

and itunes will not start at all
I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, but keep getting the same message
Plus the message "Error 7 (windows error 126)"

I was unable to open iTunes and got a message error 7 (windows 126) so I tried to uninstall and download latest itunes 10. When I tried to remove old version of itunes I got the message... The feature you are trying to remove is on a network resource that is unavailable and when I try to download iTunes 10 the message reads.... The installation source for this product is not aailable. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it. Can anyone help?
A msi file is short for microsoft installer. It normally is for installation, removal, and maintenance for a program. So iTunes.msi would be used for the updating of the program. For some reason it isnt finding this so we can't update, install, or remove it.
From what I have seen windows installer cleanup utility solved related problems before.
I found this forum about removing and installing a new iTunes. It was about someone who was trying to isntall iTunes, and was looking for msi file and asked for help. Using this should allow you to be able to install iTunes. It won't give you the msi file but will allow you to isntall iTunes over again.
This was what was said.
Another option in case you can't get an msi. (Or even if you can ... the msi's mentioned in the messages may be damaged rather than missing.)
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

I need help i cant open my i tunes & keep getting an error message saying unable to run have tried re-installing but not doing anything can anyone help
When you reinstalled, did you first uninstall, and remove all 5 iTunes related components and any remnant files in either Program Files directory?

I has an iphone4 that i last backed up in July. I got a new 5s when i activated the 5s i forgort to first update the Iphone4. I went back and updadted the iphone 4. Now how do I get that info over to the iphone 5s.
You cannot combine backups. You can only use one or the other. Your first problem is the fact that you had not backed up the phone since July. When did you get the 5s? When you activated the 5s, did you set it up as new or did you restore from the old iPhone 4 backup? Did you set the 5s up as new and begin using it and you want to keep the data on the 5s and add the data from the 4? If that is the case, it cannot be done. When you restore from a backup, you wipe all the data off the device and take it back to the date of the backup. All newer data is erased.
Maybe I'm confused, but what are you saying that you "went back and updated the iPhone 4"? -
when trying to send email on hotmail or opening certain video files, a yellow message bar appears at the top telling me that this needs to be restarted with 32-bit processing and asks to restart. Most of the time it opens the same pg, but sometimes it goes back to the first page on site. Either way, I have sent emails w/ and w/o restarting with out any problems. it is just ignoring!

Let me get this straight...... I have paid for content on itunes, bought the apple devicds in order to play said content, now I have to subscribe $25 for the privilage of playing MY library content on MY other devices. Which wasn't such an issue to do before the new and improved itunes version!!
Have I got that correct. I think I cannot associate my other iOS devices with my library because I am unwilling to pay further through the nose!!!??? or am I missing something?

I have installed adobe digital on my computer without an adobe ID. I want to change as I not have an ID but I get this notice: "You can only authorize this computer with an adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. What do I have to do?

Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Had message on my iphone 4 this morning that I needed to plug it into itunes. Did this but could only get a blank screen with apple symbol on it. Tried to do a system restore but keep getting the message that it couldn't finish restoring
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -
