My M button is messed up

My M button is popping out halfway. the left side stays in but sometimes the right side will flip up.
What should i do?
take it back to where i bought it, go to an apple store?
try to fix it myself.
help, i'm desperate. T_T

If you bought it at BBY you would need to ask them what their return policy is.
I'm sure the Apple Store could fix it, as for how much it would cost that is impossible for me to estimate. If it's a warranty issue meaning it's a defective keyboard it would be free. If damage was done then they would have to replace the entire keyboard. I suggest making an appointment with an Apple Genius and have it looked at. You can do that here.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPod nano (7th generation) touch screen. I recommend the following steps for the issue you described (you can skip the steps you have already tried):
Touch screen does not accept input
Clean the screen with a microfiber polishing cloth.
Do not wear gloves while using the touchscreen. Do not use the touchscreen with wet hands or immediately after applying hand lotion. Moisture affects touchscreen behavior in the same manner as it affects a trackpad.
If you have a protective plastic sheet or film on the touchscreen, try removing it, because it may be preventing the touchscreen from working properly.
The current application may be unresponsive; try resetting iPod by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home buttons simultaneously for a least six seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Sync with iTunes and restore the iPod.
Issue not resolved
If the issue is still not resolved, please read this information on servicing your iPod.

Iphone 4 does not want to turn on and home button is messed up.

Use assistive touch in the accessibility settings to get a virtual home button on the screen.

Bookmark Bar buttons are messed up.

I use Safari 5 on my Mac and on Windows. For some reason my bookmark bar buttons are all squished on my Windows S5 so that the names on the buttons do not show properly.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there something like an INI that I can delete that would reset the button sizes on the bookmark bar? I hope this does not happen on my Mac as well.
The machine where I am seeing this unfortunate behavior is a Windows XP SP 3 based system with all other updates applied to it as needed. So I don't think I am missing at patch or something along those lines.
I have also tried removing my bookmarks.plist file and the com.apple.safari.plist file both of which where in my profile folder and this did not help either.
If anyone else has seen this behavior and knows how to resolve it. Please let me know. Otherwise, I really like the new Safari, just need this one issue resolved.

My home button is broken and Accessibility Touch wont respond

So recently I dropped my phone, around 3 feet so not much right? Plus I have an Otter box on. So when it fell My home button broke so i had to turn off the phone and turn it on to get to settings and when I turn Accessibility Touch on i tap on it and it turns from Light gray to dark gray but doesnt open the interface or w/e u call it(The options) it just changes color of the button from light gray to dark gray but all other clicking works on my phone. I cant turn it off by clicking the home button and lock button at the same time considering by home button is messed up :/ Would appreciate any help

30GB Play/Pause button won't work.

Yes, another iPod Classic's play/pause button is messed up. I got it in March '09 so I believe that's over the 90 day fixing range. I've tried resetting, holding the menu & center button, & all of the suggestions on the Mac site, but it still won't work.
Any ideas what could be wrong & how to fix it?

Besides resetting the iPod, have you attempted restoring it? You can do that by clicking the "Restore" button on the the iPod's Summary page in iTunes.
Assuming that doesn't work, you can check your [warranty status|https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do] to see if you are still covered for hardware repair. I doubt any 30GB iPods are still under warranty, since they were discontinued over two years ago, but you said you got it in March 2009 - did you purchase it used?
Whether it's under warranty or not, you can always make a Genius Bar appointment at your closest Apple Store and see if they have any other suggestions, free of charge. If it's a hardware problem, they can replace the iPod for you, but there would be a charge to do so if you're out of warranty.

Some ebay buttons are wrong when I specify visited site color.

I selected my own colors for visited and unvisited sites. I checked "use sysem colors" and unchecked "allow pages to use their own colors . . ." It works fine. But when I visit ebay, their "buy it now" button is messed up, like when a color photo in the news paper has the different colors misaligned because the paper shifted. In amazon.com the search boxes don't show, but if I hover I can use the boxes. They're just invisible, but still function. I wish I could send a screen shots.

If you disable "allow pages to use their own colors . . ." then you suppress background images as well.<br />
So any buttons and other elements that use background images can become invisible.
You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

[SOLVED] Remap joystick/pad buttons

Hi
Is there a way to rema my pad buttons? I own a logitech pad, and when running some games through wine, since most of today games are xbox ports, my buttons are messed. I mean, xbox has the following layout:
x y
a b
my pad
1 4
2 3
and -at least through wine- , the buttons position doesn't match.
x -> 3
b -> 2
a -> 1
y -> 4
so I end up using a pad with the following xbox buttons:
a y
b x
wich kinda mess the gameplay on most games.
Any known way to remap?

Will iPhone 5 otterbox mess up Touch I.D. on the 5s

I have an otterbox case for the iPhone 5, does anyone know if the rubber cover for the home button will mess with the Touch I.D. on the 5s? I plan on using the case until i get a new one but i dont want to use it if it will mess with the Touch I.D.

The Otterbox Defender for the iPhone 5 prevents use of TouchID. Otterbox has released an updated version. It's labled "For iPhone 5 and 5S."

Encore CS6 - Bluray; some buttons with wrong color (precomposed White Wedding)

Yesterday, I've authored a DVD with the White Wedding template from precomposed. Everything is fine and ok!
Today, I started with the Blu-ray version of the same movie.
So, I created a new project, import the menu assets/menus/videos. Linked everything and created the Blu-ray-image.
All things are fine exept the buttons from the Scenemenu. In Encore, Photoshop and the preview from Encore, the buttons are black. But when I view it with PowerDVD they are grey.
On the Mainmenu, I've used the same buttons in black and they are black in PowerDVD. Same for the special features menu. It's also ok.
I've used this template a lot on Encore CS5.5 and never have a problem. But I need CS6 for the chapterplaylists (Blu-ray).
Strange thing is that the DVD is good but the Blu-ray version not.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction

The four buttons belong to Highlight group 1 and the other to group 2.
After more trying:
What I've done: Removing transparency from the Photoshop file. The four buttons are white (ffffff).
When setting the Selected state in Encore to 93%, there is a lot of transparency (looks much more than 93%) in the four buttons and the 'Heart-button' has no transparency. But when I go below the 93%, the heart-button becomes transparent and it looks that the transparency from the four buttons didn't change. The stay very transparent and grayish.
But in Encore all looks good.
Edit:
When I set the transparency in Photoshop to 93%, I got also transparency on the four buttons and not on the Heart and next/prev buttons. I can even go to 92%, but below that, the buttons are messed up.

Menu button doesn't work I can scroll up and down but when I hit the menu it doesn't even push

This has happened to me before. What has happened (if it is the same problem as mine) is the spinwheel has been shifted. What I did was just poped it back in place. You can do this by just pressing the play/pause button down or the skip buttons, just mess around with it until it pops back in place. Otherwise, I don't know what is wrong with it.

Insert SIM no Signal Menu button doesn't work

I have Virgin Nokia 5800 firmware V40, it's currently locked to the Virgin network. When I place another network SIM ( O2 or Orange) the phone boots up but shows no signal and the menu button doesn't work. I want to unlock and have been given a unlock code by Virgin but I'm expecting to see a SIM Restriction message but nothing. Confused - anyone help or had a similar problem?

IPhone 6 Plus: home button sticking and making clicking noise

Hello everyone,
I bought an iPhone 6 plus 64GB Space Grey. I bought it about 2 months ago. Day by day the home button start to become noisy and sticky. Everytime I press the home button everyone in the room hear the sound very clear.
I brought it to an Apple Third Party store in my country. but the staff there seem not really care about my issue. They said unless the home button is completely broken. How could I do?
Day by day the sound become louder and louder. I really feel uncomfortable about this. And I just feel that my iPhone is going to be broken soon.
Note: my phone has official warranty from Apple.
Any Idea? Thanks in advance.

I also have the 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey and after two display (includes Home Button) replacments and 1 full device replacement and I end up with this issue. My home button is LOUD and CLICKY every time I press to the point it feels plasticky...I will probably go into the Apple Store and demand a perfect (or at least close to perfect) full device replacement and inspect in front of the Genius to try to pinpoint any issues. If they do not comply, I'll just call Apple Care and set up an Express or Standard Replacement.
However, I do not suggest you do that. Last time I rubbed alcohol on my iPad mini 2's home button, it messed up the software and I got a replacement.
I'll tell y'all how it goes!

Duplicate button but not text

If someone can help, I would really appreciate it. I want to
duplicate a button 2 times to put in place of 2 current buttons
(because they are messed up) but when I change the text on the
copied button, it changes it on the original. I was trying to
figure out what I was doing wrong. Please any help as I am totally
stumped and need to finish this asap. Thanks.

I am not sure what you mean by "switching the movieclip" and
again after trying to change the text, it did the same with it
all...
Here is the situation. I bought a premade template. 2 of the
navigation buttons are messed up (they go to far to the right when
you hover the mouse over them) but the other 4 do just right. So, I
was trying to duplicate one of the other buttons in place of those
2 that were messed up. I tried first to figure out how to make it
not go so far over, but i don't know how to do it. It shows layers
etc., for each button. You can view the template I bought here at

Making button with invisible clicking field?

Hi,
I just got DVD studio pro. Im dealing with a looping video background that has the button text pre-rendered into it.
As my highlight, I just basically want a rectangle underneath the text. For each option you choose, the text will be underlined.
This works great except for when its in the computer. When its in a computer using a mouse, you have to click the little line to choose that option. How do I make an invisible clicking field over my pre rendered text?
Also how to I get the rectangle to have slightly rounded edges? By the way I don't have enough space to import the library.
Currently I am just messing around with default button and messing with the colors and stuff there.

I am new to DVD Studio Pro, because I was originally using Encore for this project, but it was too buggy. So I thought it would be best to make the switch.
I am rather sure I'm not using layered menu's. Here's my tree:
I checked out the link, although it was a little confusing how he set the colors to something else first, like green, and then switched.
Here's my .psd to show my red underline, and as you can see there is an alpha:
Once again, my menu is a looping video, and the text is pre rendered into it. I am just overlaying a button that is an underline, and the alpha will go over the text, so you can click on a computer.

I tried messing with the chroma states - For normal had everything 0 opacity -but- will this take out my clicking field if I do this??
Heres my selected stated - as you can see the red is full opacity, and everything else 0%:

I also saw on the link it was mentioning setting overlays. I was confused about the single choice because I have 4 buttons.
