My mac has recognized my iphone for 2 years now all of a sudden it doesn't even have "devices" listed when I bring up my itunes
My iMac has always recognized my iPhone now, all of a sudden I go to sync it and nothing shows up. "Devices"doesn't even show up in the left hand side of my iTunes. Help?

Books are no longer supported with iPhoto '08 (a roughly six yeal old product) - you can purchase an iLife '09 DVD from someplace like Amazon or eBay and install it - iPhoto '09 is still supported this year

HT1551 My Apple TV has been working perfectly for a year now it doesn't.
My Apple TV has been working fine for a year, and now it plays about a minute and "An error occurred loading this content" screen comes up. This has been going on for 2 months.I tried to use it with Netflix and with movies purchase through the Apple store. Iphone sych also does not work.
Hi Brian - The light at the front of the ATV indicates it is on. I can't see it on the iOS remote app. Actually, I installed the app and when I went to the ATV it said 'no signal'. So, I am not sure if it is coincidence or what, as I did NOT go to the settings on the ATV and change the remote setting. I can't set it to another TV, can I set it to my MacBook to check? IiMac won't connect to the wifi anymore. All other devices still work with wifi any suggestions?
Try the basics first:
Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do.
Disconnect & reconnect your modem. unplug it for about 10 seconds. Plug it back in. Do the same for Apple’s routers. Wait for everything to reboot.
System Preferences>Network
Click the Assist Me button.
In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button & do the necessary.

This morning it started again.

Yosemite is installed. But the problem has happened with every operating systems.
Disk utility can't find any problems.
No usb or other devices are connected.
I deleted the file: com.apple.PowerManagement.plist (someone suggested that it may help)
I think it's not the matter of heat, because the problem occurs right away when starting my comp.
With a safe mode it sometimes stays up for hours. So could it be a problem with applications, rather than hardware?

As the title says, I have been using a Visa debit card since 2010 for my iTunes account. It has been used to purchase apps and free apps but now I can't download either. It says that my payment is declined. I have money on my card and my bank account shows that my apps and music purchases have been paid for. I can't even get free apps.
Do you have enough funds in your bank account?
otherwise iTunes sometimes black lists card if there are too many fradulent purchases
Reason why they might black list a card is possibly you call in for alot of fradulent purchases
One more reason can be because iTunes does actually limit the amount you can change payment methods

Hi, this seems like a very annoying problem. Unfortunatly, the community will need some more information to help assist you with this problem. Such as:
1) What programs? Are they resource intensive? I mean, if you are trying to run 4 video games or programs like photoshop and 3dsmax forget about it. And if you have 4 programs ALL attempting to write large amounts to the disk it will yeild a similar result. Usually large amounts of I/O are murder on PC's (by which I mean personal computers...), and of course if you don't have enough RAM its a moot point.
2) What are your specs? How much RAM do you have? What is the size of your virtual memory (page file)?
3) Have you cleared the various caches mac's have? I can't direct you to any good third party programs for mac's but I am sure there is a simple cache cleaner within your system. -

I coach youth soccer and use a PDF template to save my sessions in. Today I got this message when trying to open one of my sessions.
Adobe Reader could not open 'NSCAAInteractiveSessionPlan.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
How can I fix this? I have not done anything I don't normally do.What is your operating system? Reader version?

Google chrome will open as will internet explorer but not firefox.
A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Just got an iphone 5S today. Now all of a sudden when I delete an email on my phone, it also deletes it on my home computer - which I don't want happening............any thoughts?
Thanks.Assuming that Chris is correct, you can set up the account on the phone as a POP3 account. This will allow you to delete mail from the phone without deleting it from the server, but it also means that you will have to delete mail from the phone separately, so you will have to delete mail twice, once from the phone and once from your computer.
