My Macbook (13" White) that I have had for three years recently had its screen die, and so I purchased a new macbook pro, since I cannot use the screen, how do I go about getting my information off of it such as my iTunes, iPhoto and other documents?

The screen would fade into these weird pastel stripes, and if I pinched the sides a bit it would return to normal, but a few weeks ago it stopped returning to normal. I would like to get my iTunes and iPhoto contents and my documents of various sorts off of it and onto my new macbook pro. A friend of mine removed the hard drive and got the information like it was an external hard drive. Can I do this? I don't know if I can use my migration assistant application because the screen of my macbook won't let me see anything to even log into my username on the computer... Help?

Firewire disk mode.
Plug in a foirewire cable, most likely need a 6pin (400) to 9 pin(800).
on the older machine, boot it up, and hold down the t key
HDD should show up on the new computer.
If you havent booted up the new machine, you could run migration assistant whith the above steps to pull the data off.

I have a new iMac on the way and my current is from 2008, never had a problem but I am sure there are internal issues that I would prefer not to transfer.
I have no issues other then the slowness in certain programs and that is the main reason to buy a new one.
Programs like numbers and pages seem to take a longer time to open after I update to Yosemite.
I only use 272GB of 500 GB, my memory is 4GB and I am upgrading to 8Gb and bought the 4.0 processor.
Question:
Is there a way to manually transfer items or would that be a waste of time in that if there are issues they could be anywhere and would transfer anyway?

The screen on my ipod is no longer working and i would like to get my pictures off of it but for it to connect to itunes i have to unlock it on the ipod itself and i cannot use the screen?

I want to get the pictures off of it but when i try to connect it to itunes it says that i need to unlock my ipod on the device before it will connect. I cannot do that because the screen doesn't work. Is there a program where i can control my ipod through my computer or is there another way to get my pictures off of it?

If they are in a backup then
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
Then import them after restoring.

I have been trying to upload the music I have been listening too for many years. I have studed apples since 1987, it was the first computer I learned, I do not feel this is fair, that apple is not allowing music lovers to upoload yhere own music, I would really like some feedback on this and as to why I can not upload my own music

You will need to restore the backup - just downloading the app from the store won't give you its contents from a preivous device, you will need to restore the whole backup onto your new iPad (which will replace its current contents) to get the app's content.

Not sure if your are looking for this...If you have bought the subscription and Indesign is already installed on your system , Simply launch ID and provide your subscription adobe ID when you are asked to sign in. If you are seeing Trial expiry screen, click on License software and provide the subscription ID there. After this your product will be suscribed and you are ready to use it.
