My navigation bar address doesn't change with new site loaded

With the new Firefox 4: if i have multiple tabs open in one window, the navigation bar will only show one of those tab's address for all of the tabs when those should be completely different addresses. i.e. if i look at another tab in same window it has address for first tab, not new one. I'd like to be able to copy and paste the address sometimes. Please help.

A few possible causes.
The first is the file that stores details of browsing history and bookmarks is corrupt. For details on how to fix that see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
Another possible cause is an add-on interfering with the location bar. To test this, use the procedure in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
If you are not using the default theme, try switching to it. Some themes can cause this problem.

Why the html file doesn't change with applet ?

i am new to java , i get a problem when i am modifying a applet . i recompile it to .class file but did not change its name . and the .html file which use the applet doesn't change with it , it still shows the original style , even when i delete the .class file . it works until i changed the name of the source file and use the different .class file in html . it's troublesome if i need to modify the source file because i must change the name to get it . can you tell me why and how could i avoid this ?

I am new also & had a similar experience.
In my case it was aftercompiling and trying to refresh the browser to get it to display the new version of my applet. I got around this by holding Ctrl down and pressing F5 to refresh.
Also, some of the systems at university cause exactly the problem you describe. Not sure why it should work but we overcame it by placing our files in the JDK folder on those systems & it worked properly. May be worth a try.

SessionManager doesn't work with new xerceimpl.jar?

Does anybody know the solution to the problem below?
The toplink sessionmanager, which loads sessions.xml for database session pooling, doesn't work with new xerce parser(xerceimpl.jar). It is tieing to old xerces.jar parser, which has been upgraded to have more functions.

It works with old xerces.jar. But in-order to get new functions from new xerces jars from apache, I got xml-apis.jar, xercesImp.jar. They got modified from old ones. So this is breaking toplink sessions.xml load to work.

How do I remove old web site when publishing new site with same URL in iweb? Hit replace when publishing new iweb site (so we could have control over changes) but new site name is attached to old via a / after our www address we want to keep.

I hit the replace when publishing the new iweb site (so we could have control over changes - last one was not an apple based site) but new site name is attached to old via a forward slash and underscore after our www address. Makes it very messy with a very long web address. Original address now followed by iweb site name followed by name of first page? Went for iweb as not that computer literate - all going so well?! Well yes of course, if you try and publish through iWeb there won't be an option to publish without your site folder which is exactly why I told you to download Cyberduck and use Cyberduck to upload your site to your server having published your site from iWeb to a local folder. That is what you need to do if you don't want your site name to be included in yoru url.
It would have been easier also if you had used Cyberduck initially to connect to your server and delete your old site yourself - at least that way you would have deleted the correct files rather than relying on your hosting service to do it and doing it incorrectly.
Download Cyberduck and then select the publish to a local folder option from iWeb and then use Cyberduck to upload your site to your server, but rather than uploading the whole site folder and separate index file, upload ONLY the contents of your site folder and then your url will be http://www.domain.com/page_name.html.
It really isn't rocket science!

Created textbox doesn't change with variable?

I've tried various ways of changing tumbler = 0 to
if(...){tumbler = 1}, if(...){tumbler = tumbler +1} and so forth,
but unless I manually change the tumbler value, the text in the
question box doesn't budge. I've tried moving the tLabel outside
the onEnterFrame and it just sets to undefined.
What's going on?

I seem to be having a problem with inputting new data into
the textfield, especially in the form of arrays.
Every time I try to input an array that changes with an
onenterFrame, it spits out "undefined".
I can manually change the TLabel.text to display anything,
such as "Question 3" or "My Dog is an Awesome Dog";
but when I set up tLabel.text = myArray[myvariable];
it displays 'undefined'
I've tried this in an alternative version of the program with
similar problems.
When I tried sticking the code for the textfield into an
onEnterFrame all text disappears entirely.

You can use a div with the CSS position: fixed; top: 0 set. This will allow the div to "stick" to the top of the page, regardless of where the document is scrolled.

My navigation bar refuses to come down with the usual down swipe, whats the solution/fix for this issue???

We simply must figure this out for you. Can you recall if there have been any changes to the phone since this began? Have you tried the power/off trick?

Navigation bar moves right when changing image in a skin (CRM 7.0)

Hello friends, I have an issue on CRM 7.0 WebClient
I copied the standard BSP that handles the standard skins into my own namespace
I define a new skin (copied from 'Default') and its path in Customizing for Skin.
I upload and replace an "Z" skin for my own image ".gif" that is EXACTLY the same shape and name as the original. So far so good....
However, when I open the skin, the image gets loaded, but the entire navigation bar goes right and the whole screen layout gets disarranged and of course it becomes unusable. Very weird right? No idea what happened because the image has the same name and size than the standard one I replaced

please make sure that your image file has exactly the same size (pixel height and width) as the file in SAP standard.

How come my ip address doesn't change anymore?

Before i updated the verizon firmware i could change my ip address by just leaving the router off but now it won't change my router has been off for more then 12 hour and my ip address hasn't change? So is it because i updated the firmware? If so is there any link where i can downgrade the firmware of the router?

Seems like a good question, and I would also like to hear the answer. Pehaps its only me, but I can't think of a single ligitimate reason for changing a fully functional IP.

Navigation bar not working cannot add a new one says there is a warning but does not indicate what kind of warning

In the space where you would add a widgit there is a warning so a new navigation bar cannot be added. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that did not help. When I pulishedd my website the navigation bar did not work. It only linked to one page but I cannot fix the problem because of the warning.

Please elaborate more as what are the steps you are taking and upload screenshots of navigation bar that you are using in design mode , if site is published then share the url.

Email alert to apple ID after sim card gets changed with new number

Hi , i would like to know that if i will get an email alert when my sim card gets changed with the new number, to the apple ID or email ID that i registered with Apple.

I would try a few things along the lines of:
Resetting the iPhone (not just shutting it down)
Going to Settings>Carrier> this refreshes the carrier list
Check to make sure it's on automatic or that the 3G AT&T network is selected
Turning Airplane mode on then off to try to kick start the phone and along the same vain Flicking 3G on and off in Settings>General>Network
Then a restore
Then contact AT&T, double check the SIM is 3G enabled, and even if it is still get a replacement SIM
If none of this worked i would then contact AppleCare or go in to see a genius at an Apple store cause maybe the 3G chipset is stuffed

Keep opens with new site

Here is what I did.
I copy my working domain to an external hard drive to work on my hard drive.
I deleted domain in the hard drive, so try to open my copy domain but copy domain keep opens as a new site.
How can I get my site open. My copy site shows that it has 160 mb, so I am thinking there is still all the information in the site.
Help....

Download and use iWeb Switch Domain to open iWeb, select the domain file you want to open and open it. With iWSD you can store your domain file anywhere you'd like and open it with iWeb.

Help with new site index.html

I'm new to website design/hosting/etc so I apologize for the newbie questions. I'm using DW8
I have a hobby site on a free host and have been using it for 2+ years without problems. Recently I decided to re-design the website. When I uploaded the new website in place of the old one the host kept saying that the file was not found. So I re-loaded the old site and everything worked fine. So just for kicks I uploaded the NEW index.html file in place of the old one, and again the website could not be found.
So is there something actually wrong with my NEW index.html root file, or do I need to do something else in DW to upload a new site in place of an old one? I have no idea what could be wrong with the new index file; I created it just like I did the old one.

Before you upload next time click on Site->Advanced->FTP log. See if you get any errors with that.
If you are not and the files are uploading ok, you may need to get in touch with your host. If something is not working on the account it could be something on their end, whether it be configuration errors or some other random occurrence.

Big problems with new site

Sorry to repeat what has already been posted, but talk about a runabout.
The new site seems to me to be totally hit and miss.
I wish to retain my paper bills, and so do not wish to upgrade my account and have tried to access my latest bill etc.
I managed to get there once but I am totally bemused as to how.
The posted workaround does not help and I am getting somewhat frustrated to say the least.
Please lets have the old site back.
At least it worked.

Proxy client (over USB connection) with DHCP assigned IP address doesn't work with FRDM-K64F

after reading about the issues on this forum with a static IP address on the Freescale FRDM-K64F board I went for an DHCP address but I can't get the proxy client to work over a USB connection with DHCP either.
My console tells me the following:

Hi, Andy. Please excuse my ignorance, I am very new at this ME embedded stuff. I had my challenges, but was finally able to get my board up with a static address. I went through a lot of headaches, but finally got the board flashed with the latest bin. I then updated the jwc_properties.ini file on the SD card to include:
# Whether static configuration or DHCP server is used do get IP address. Possible values: dhcp,static
ip.method = static
# IP address,used with static IP configuration only
ip.addr = 192.168.0.30
# Network mask,used with static IP configuration only
ip.netmask = 255.255.255.0
# Network gateway,used with static IP configuration only
ip.gateway = 192.168.0.1
# DNS server,used with static IP configuration only
ip.dns = 208.67.222.222
# MAC address
mac.addr = 01:02:03:04:05:06
I was then put the card into the board, disconnected both USB cables, and then powered it up. From that point I was able to ping the board. I can now use Device Manager in NetBeans to connect to the device.
I am struggling quite a bit with many issues. It seems that when I try to stop the app from NetBeans, the "please wait" dialog hangs forever. I have to use Windows Task Manager to kill the "JavaW" process tree and reconnect the board.
I have also had trouble understanding the GPIO pin assignments. Another gotcha was trying to use the AutoStart feature. Since the sample app never cleanly exited, I thought that I bricked the board. The secret is to power it down, remove the SD card, and then delete all files EXCEPT the jwc_properties.ini file, put the SD card back in, then power up. It seems that the board forgets that the MIDlet was installed.
Hope this helps others out there.
