Navigation bar moves right when changing image in a skin (CRM 7.0)

Hello friends, I have an issue on CRM 7.0 WebClient
I copied the standard BSP that handles the standard skins into my own namespace
I define a new skin (copied from 'Default') and its path in Customizing for Skin.
I upload and replace an "Z" skin for my own image ".gif" that is EXACTLY the same shape and name as the original. So far so good....
However, when I open the skin, the image gets loaded, but the entire navigation bar goes right and the whole screen layout gets disarranged and of course it becomes unusable. Very weird right? No idea what happened because the image has the same name and size than the standard one I replaced

please make sure that your image file has exactly the same size (pixel height and width) as the file in SAP standard.

Navigation bar moves

I've inserted a Flash navigation bar to the left of the
larger photos on my galleries. It's positioned just fine for a
panoramic but when I load another image, a vertical or full frame
horz. the nav bar moves up or down according to the size of the
photograph. I would like to have it anchored at a set distance from
the thumbnail images in the upper bar so it's not bouncing up and
down.

Put your navbar in a div above the gallery itself, center and
style it as
you wish .. then put the gallery in a div under that and it
should stay
within its div without interfering with the navbar.

Expression: Obj 2 moves right when Obj 1 moves left.???

Hello.
I having trouble trying to come up with an expression that would allow me to move OBJ 2 to the right when OBJ 1 moves to the left. Obviously when I parent one of the objects to the other and move to either side the both end up moving in the same direction. Does anyone have an expression for this or perhaps can lead me to a helpful link that would educate me.

Depends on the setup and what actually the "objects" are. You know, shape layers have different coordinate logic than normal layers for instance... Generally it one would subtract the position of Obj 1 from anchor point or composition center and then adding/subtracting it to/from Obj 2. Something like this for an X axis mirroring across the comp middle:

mRef=thisComp.layer("Obj A");
mDiffX=mRef.position[0]-mHalf;
mPosX=mHalf-mDiffX;
X=mPosX;
Y=value[1];
Z=value[2];
[X,Y,Z]
Also consider that many setups with perfect symmetry could just as well be done by using Effect --> Distort --> Mirror, assuming the shape is in itself symmetrical and the flipping would not show...

My navigation bar address doesn't change with new site loaded

With the new Firefox 4: if i have multiple tabs open in one window, the navigation bar will only show one of those tab's address for all of the tabs when those should be completely different addresses. i.e. if i look at another tab in same window it has address for first tab, not new one. I'd like to be able to copy and paste the address sometimes. Please help.

A few possible causes.
The first is the file that stores details of browsing history and bookmarks is corrupt. For details on how to fix that see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
Another possible cause is an add-on interfering with the location bar. To test this, use the procedure in this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
If you are not using the default theme, try switching to it. Some themes can cause this problem.

Navigation bar not updating when published

I'm seeing an issue where the navigation bar in iWeb properly updates as I add and remove pages but whenever I publish the site the nav bar seems stuck in a state from many revisions past.
I've tried deleting the entire site on the web server and republishing, I've tried adding and removing pages but so far I've not been able to get the published nav bar to reflect what I see in iWeb. It's stuck in the past.
Any ideas on how I can fix this short of creating a new site and trying to move all the pages over? That's the next step I'm trying to avoid by asking this question.

Bad navigation bar buttons/links when viewing in browser

i've created my own nav bar, but when i view it online, the buttons/links are out of line
i.e. the page you view has the buttons below or above the horizontal of all the other buttons.
this looks scruffy!
everything is kosher when viewed in iWeb. none of the buttons overlap. i'm using standard web fonts (helvetica, courier).
i'm scratching my head wondering what's gone wrong.

i realised, after posting, that the offending button is the page title button you are on.
e.g. when you're on 'links', the 'links' button is duff.
my solution? well as they're redundant, i took em out.
but any feedback would be helpful.

Display text in navigation bar when user is logged in

I'm (still ) on Apex 4.2.6.
Currently, I have in my page templates, the following snippet:

I have the requirement to display both the username (APP_USER) and the company the user works for (Application item AI_COMPANY), only when the user is logged in. When the user isn't logged in; instead of those items, I have to show a login link. Well, I know how to only show a link to the login page, when the user isn't authenticated, using the navigation bar. Currently, when a user isn't authenticated; the page shows: Username: nobody. That's because it is in my page template. How can I only show the username when the user is logged in? And show the company name only then?
My first thought was to add an item in the navigation bar. But those items shows up as links. Is there a way to add a navigation bar item, and let it display as text? Sure, I could write a dynamic action on page 0 to remove the link, but I'm searching for a nicer/better sollution.

you can show company name which is already in your Application item(AI_COMPANY) by modifying the page template mentioned above.

Centering Navigation Bar Images and Text

I'm using a Navigation Bar entry of
#TEXT#<img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX##IMAGE#" title="#ALT#" alt="#ALT#" style="display:block" />#TEXT#
which is similar to the way the APEX Page Definition navigation bar is designed. The images do appear directly above the text but the text is right justified. How do you get the text to be centered, as it appears in the APEX Page Definition?

Difficulty changing colours on my own navigation bar

Hi,
I am using iWeb 1.1.2. I have created my own navigation bar and want to change the colours,
style, hover, visited options on it .. iWeb doesn't allow me to do this so I have tried to do it
through the generated css. The problem is that sometimes when I generate css, there is no
visited, hover code etc.. in it .. it seems to do the stuff graphically using a shapeimage3rollover
file .. instead of through css .. then other times, it does generate code with visited, hover code in
the css .. I have played around with this and cannot figure out what it is upto ..
Anyone encounter this before?
Should I just upgrade to iWeb 2.x ..

I have no Menu or Navigation bars available when I open Firefox

While trying to delete an unused ad-on, i erroneously deleted my Menu and Navigation bars. Now, despite having uninstalled and re-installed Firefox, no menu or navigation bars are there when I open up. I can only get my homepage. How do I re-install Firefox so that i can navigate, use bookmarks, and so on? These options are still available on IE, so it's not something in my computer.

I select a image in section "Image Attributes", but it isn't displayed?
The text in field "Icon Subtext" is displayed.

First question:
- I realized, that my images will not shown with the IE 7?
Second problem I have:
- is there a way to define a second variable besides #NAVIGATION_BAR# maybe #NAVIGATION_BAR_1# and redirect items defined in the application under the "Shared Components" --> "Navigation Bar" to that variable?
Purpose is to have two navigation bars and show e.g. two items in the first, the next item in the second bar.
Do you have answers for the two questions?

Adding Icon Image Elements to a Navigation Bar in Adobe Muse?

I want to add a rollover image in my navigation bar - I want the rollover image to have a dotted line surrounding it and I can't make dotted lines in Muse so I want to make the image in fireworks and import it into my menu. Can this be done and if so, how?!!

Navigation Bar Entry - automatic change target type

Hi,
A recent post (print friendly remembered me of something strange with the Navigation Bar Entry.
When I create an entry with Target type URL, and I put an URL pointing to my application (ex.: f?p=&APP_ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&SESSION.::::::YES), it is automatically transformed to Target type Page in this Application.
Why is this happening?

If you provide a URL that is an "f?p" URL to the current application then the edit page simply decomposes it to format it as "Page in this Application". But whether the URL meets that criteria or not, the actual data stored in the application definition for any URL target is the URL provided.

To maximize the vertical height of the Outlook window you can use Compact Navigation. We can change the setting by creating the

Calendar… By default, the eighth and ninth view is turned off. The eighth is
Journal and I have no idea what the ninth number stands for. You can open Journal by pressing Ctrl+8, but if you want it to appear on Navigation Bar, you can change the eighth “0” to “1”.
To modify the view order
If you want to switch the positions of Mail and Calendar, you’ll need to modify the
ModuleOrderAB string.

The default order for the Navigation Bar is:

In the registry string there are 9 numbers (1~9), let’s just ignore 9. So, there are 8 numbers left and each number has some relationships to each Navigation item.
Here is the logic:
There are 8 Navigation Options. Let’s say ‘Mail’ is Nav1, Calendar is Nav2, People is Nav3, …, Shortcut is the Nav7 and Journal is Nav8.
Meanwhile, there are 8 positions to put those 8 Navigation items, we name them
position1 to position8, from left to right.
For example,    CALENDAR TASKS PEOPLE FOLDERS MAIL NOTES SHORTCUTS
Journal
ModuleOrderAB=    5
1      3
2    6
4
7
8
The number “5” is in the first position of the ModuleOrderAB string and it takes
position1. The default navigation option for position1 is
Mail.
So, “5” means put Nav1 (Mail) on position5.
“1” is on position2, default navigation item on
position2 is Calendar. It means put Calendar on
position1.
So, “3” means put People on position3; “2” means put
Task on position2… and so on.

Strange Navigation Bar Behavior

Hi, I'm currently designing a web page for non-profit
government organization.
Unfortunately, I'm running into some strange behavioral
problems with the navigation bar.
The tabs in my navigation bar run from left to right. As the
links are visited through the navigation bar, the links to the left
of which ever link is active stop working. I can't for the life of
me figure out why!
The pages are arranged in such a way that each page involves
three html files. One body file, one navigation bar file with it's
respective tab hilighted, and a little file that simply loads the
two, one on top of the other. The tabs in the navigation bar are
linked to the file that then loads the body and navigation(of
course). Clicking on a tab to the right of the active tab loads
everything perfectly. However, if the active tab is the right-most
tab, the tabs to the left no longer work properly. They seem to
reload the navigation bar, but the body gets left behind and the
URL still appears to be that of the right-most tab.

By going through the four tabs at the top, you can quickly
see things are going wrong.
The drop-down menu can be used to access the same pages that
the navigation bar refuses to load.
If you could please take a look at the site and reply with
any comments or suggestions as to what might be going wrong or what
I could do to fix it, I would be very grateful.
Note that I previously read something about strange
navigation bar behavior being caused by image names beginning with
numbers. This isn't what's happening here as my image names are all
"image 1" etc.
Also note that I'm using dreamweaver8

Well thanks for the suggestion, but that's not actually the
problem I'm having.
The newsletter link along with all that other stuff on the
left hand side is just stuff I havn't gotten to yet.
The problem I'm having is with the navigation tabs at the TOP
of the page(policies, forms, info and M.R.)! I know the links for
those tabs are correct, because I can see from hovering over the
tabs that they're pointing in the right direction, and if it's the
policies page(leftmost tab at the top) I'm on, all the tabs to the
right work perfectly. The problem is that when I'm on any other
page (such as the M.R. page which is the rightmost tab), all the
tabs to the left of it mysteriously stop working!
As I said, just quickly click back and forth through the four
tabs at the top of the page and you'll see what the problem is. In
fact, completely ignore everything that isn't those four tabs at
the top of the page, because everything else is unfinished.
