My newsstand app is stuck on my iPad air

My newsstand app is stuck, with a window open, on my iPad air. When I click on "store", within the newstand app, it's frozen with a window open and I can't close it or chose any other function on that app. Anyone aware of what I should do?

If found info about double tapping the Home button. This brings up all open pages in each app ( or what appears to be that) Then figured out I could swish pages off the top of tablet to get rid of the page, not unlike deleting open Safari pages on an iPhone.

You are not speaking to Apple here. So none of us can "fix it."
TRy try quitting the Photos app followed by a reset of the ipad. To quit an app double click the Home button to reveal the row of recently used apps. Flick up on the page preview and it will fly away and disappear. That quits the app. Then Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

Okay, so there's no Flash past, present or future for the iPad. I read some discussions here in the archives from a year and two ago about which workaround works around best (or least badly). Is there any update now as of December 2013 for what's the best app for viewing videos online on the iPad (Air)? Thanks.

I downloaded the new (2013) version of Photon and it's been playing, appropriately enough, episodes of Star Trek: TAS that otherwise require Flash. The one thing I have to remember is to click the goofy lighting bolt icon toward the top right-hand corner of the Photon screen when I return to warch an episode if I stopped in the middle. Basically it will turn off the "Flash" emulation when the screen goes dark with inactivity, and then when you reopen Photon it crashes and you have to re-reopen Photon, click on the link to return to the website, and then click the lightning bolt icon. I don't know why the producers made it that way, as it's pretty inconvenient, but maybe they wanted to make a browser more than a Flash emulator. I haven't tried other Flash videos yet, but so far, so good. :-)

Can't redownload certain apps after restoring to an iPad Air

I recently backed up my iPad2 and restored to a new iPad Air. Certain apps did not come across (HBO Go, The Walking Dead, Files Pro are some of them). When I find them on the app store, there is no icon visible to re-download them.

More info: After I restored, I did a sync to get the apps copied to the iPad Air. Most of the apps came across just fine. The ones that didn't now show up in the updates section of the store as having available updates, but there is no button next to them to install the update. Finding them in the store itself also shows there is no button to download them. The complete list of missing Apps is:
HBO Go
Files Pro
Crackle
Watch TNT
Walking Dead

How do I remove ITunes and all the associated apps connected with ITunes from IPAD air. I did not ask for the download. It happened when I added a Chrome app.

My IPAD air that I use strictly for work automatically downloaded ITunes installation app and all the usual apps that come on with ITunes such as store, App Store, face time, ect when I downloaded the CHROME app for work. How to I delete all of these?

You can't. Those built in apps are not able to be deleted. The most you can do is to put them on a back menu page or tuck them in a folder.
They didn't come with the chrome app, they were there all along.
You can also go into the restrictions and enable restrictions and turn the apps off, which will make their icons invisible even though the apps will still be on your device.

Mail native app cannot be opened on iPad Air, any fix?

Hello, need some help here.
All of the sudden when I press the Mail icon the app tries to open and then it crashes.
I have switch off and on the iPad Air, I have run a hard reset but still it is not fixed.
Any ideas?

Try force quitting the mail app
Double tap the home button
Scroll sideways if needed to see the preview screen for the mail app
Flick that preview screen up and off the screen
Single tap the home button or scroll sideways to the home screen preview and tap on it to exit the mode
See if your mail app will open now.

I am supposed to re-download free apps which were included on iPad air,

I have permission from itunes to re-dawnload my free apps again, which were insluded on iPad air when I purchased it.
For issues with ID etc, apps has been deleted as they were attached to old ID and email, all has been rectified, I can sign-in
buy from app/iTunes store. but whole problem is i got email from iTUNES, that I can re-download back these apps for free
again just tap app store and they should be there, question is where????? When i go to categories etc, they are there,
but have to be purchased. If anyone knows where they can be found in app store, please let me know

If you are currently using a different AppleID than the one you used to purchase those apps previously, no, you will NOT be able to download them again for free. All itunes content - apps, music, movies, books, etc. - are tied to the ID used to purchases them and cannot be transfered.

Cannot connect to App Store with my new iPad Air

REcently purchased iPad Air. Activated & tried right away to find apps. Tapped on App Store icon & received "Cannot connect to App Store" no reason given.

I had this issue too, the suggestions were to set the time to automatically, to reboot the device, to reset the wifi router - nothing helped. What I did is go to 'settings' >> App Store and iTunes >> press on the Apple ID, choose logout and renter your password. NOW IT WORKS!!!!! (found from another thread: iPad Air 2 on iOS 8.1.1 cannot connect to App Store ) Cheers.

Apps won't update on iPad Air?

Since updating to iOS 8.0.2 I have 33 apps waiting to update in the App Store and none of them will update, including purchased apps! I have done a soft and hard reboot of the device. Help!!!

Surely if what's app doesn't work on iPad this is something that could easy be changed! There must be a lot of people who want to be able to use it the same as there iPhone,
There seems to be a lot of apps that you can't get on the iPad that you can on your iPhone . I can't understand why this is... I want my iPad to be a mirror of my iPhone so I can see things better with a bigger screen.

The why is very simple. The maker of the app chooses to only make a phone version. Contact them and suggest a lot of people would like a iPad version.

Difficulty switching apps - button stuck (?) on iPad Mini 2013

the round button at the bottom of the iPad MINI (the first one, purchased a year or so ago...)
it must be broken, or stuck or something, I have to hold it down unbelievably hard before it will change apps ...
I have to press it so hard it really hurts my finger.
Is this something common to the 2013 iPad Mini? Or just a flaw on mine?
by contrast, on my older full size iPad, it just takes a light touch to that button and the app is changed.
what to do?

settings->itunes & app stores-> if the appleID there is not the one the apps was bought with what you describe will happen
click on the appleID and log out and then login with the correct appleID should fix it
