My page goes beyond the fold, but no scrollbar? :S

Hi,
I have made a website in Flex, located at
http://www.theplaygrounds.co.uk/The_Playground.swf
Now this site is just a simple portfolio, but I have a lot
planned for it. What I was wondering is that when you go to the
contact page, you cannot see a submit button because that is below
the fold and requires scrolling. But in Flex, there is no scrollbar
in the browser. Why? If the site is a html document made in
Dreamweaver the browser would provide a scrollable scrollbar.
What do I have to do to enable the scrolling in the browser?
Or is there another way around this. I must be doing something
wrong because it can't be right for Flex to limit the page's size
to just the monitor's size.

I know that some components dont activate the scrollbar when
they oversize, try putting the component that is not making a
scroll bar inside a canvas and set the internal component to
width="100%" and height="100%"
If its the browswers scrollbar you want (note that this is
different from flex's scrollbar, and if yoru whole site is flex
youd be better off using the flex scrollbars) you will have to set
your width and height of your <Application> to something that
isnt a percentage.

Solved! Music was in Itunes folder but not in Media folder within that. It doesn't seem like a very user friendly system so far!

I'm trying to upload some art to a website. When asked to select the art, I select the folder, but when I open it, there is nothing there even though the folder has five pieces of art in it. What is going on?

mozilla is not recognizing that I have art in a folder on my desktop. it recognizes the folder, but when I open it, it's empty. why won't it recognize the contents of the folder?

What is the file extension of those files?
Can you select "All files" in that file picker to see all the files?
It is possible that it is not a supported file type that can be used for uploading.<br />
A web server can specify that.

Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste (command-V) into the text box that opens, then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

When I ask Siri to play a song it goes to the song but won't play the song

when I ask Siri to play a song it goes to the song but won't play the song. The song shows when I open the music app, but the bar does not move and there is no sound. Even if I hit pause then play nothing happens. If I go back to the playlists and select another playlist or song then music plays.

After doing and changing EVERYTHING on that page, I ended up re-installing Quicktime by itself and finally that solved the problem. Thank you for the advice page though, it had a lot of good information on it that related to my problem.

"Red eye correction" goes beyond the eyeball.

I'm using PSE 3.0, Windows XP Home. Occasionally, when I try to apply "red eye correction", the "darkening" effect is applied to areas of the cheeks, eye brow, or forehead (as well as the eye). My guess is: The subject's skin color or "cosmetic makeup color" is within the range of spectra that "red eye correction" is sensitive to and therefore interprets that it too, needs darkening. How can I "mask off" or otherwise prevent PSE from going beyond the eyes of the subject in it's quest to "eradicate red eye"?

I only have PSE 2 so I don't know how the red eye correction tool works in PSE 3, but I'm guessing you can select just the eye (and maybe feather 1 or 2 pixels) before applying the tool.
You just might skip the red eye tool and do this instead:
- Zoom in to large eye.
- Select the red area and feather.
- Add a Hue/Saturation layer. Select Reds from the Edit menu, move Saturation slider left.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

3. The dialog should show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section. Use the plus- and minus-sign buttons to give yourself Read & Write access and "everyone" No Access. Delete any other entries in the access list.
4. In the General section, uncheck the box marked Locked if it's checked.

If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}

iOS 10.9.5 does not exist.
iOS refers to the operating system on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch.
10.9.5 was never a version of a Classic operating system.
10.9.5 was a version of Mac OS X, and is 13 years newer than Classic.

Your USB drive is formatted in NTFS, and OS X can't write on disks with NTFS. To fix this:
1. Use an app like Paragon NTFS.
2. Format the USB drive in another filesystem like "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", "MS-DOS (FAT)" or "exFAT" > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html Make a backup of your files on the external disk.
After doing that, you will be able to copy your photos to the external disk. Note that you can also use the Export feature in iPhoto to get more export options
