My phone is being a real pain! Time doesn't work, can't sign into iMessage and only some apps work! It also kicks me off the wifi! This is not my connections problem, it happens everywhere! Apple is terrible! Phone also freezes a lot!

not sure if this will work for everone but I noticed when you go on settings>messages>Send & Receive it was displaying my Apple ID twice and underneath where is says "You can be reached by iMessage at:" , it was displaying my email address twice as well, so I clicked on my Apple ID and signed out, restarted my ipod and signed back into iMessage in the settings and it just displayed my apple ID and email once. Next I restarted my router and my Ipod Touch 4g IOS 6 and it was working again !!! . Not sure if this will work for everyone but I just ****** around with it and it seems to be working for now anyway -
I can't sign into Imessage. My phone tells me, check your network connections and try again. Wifi works fine. Imessage worked before downloading the new IOS7
Any ideas how to fix this?Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On.

I can't sign into iMessages. My apple ID works absolutely fine for FaceTime App store etc, but keeps telling me "An error occurred ant to try again" when I try to sign in to iMessages. Very frustrating. I've double checked all the settings but still can't sign in. Any sugestions?
Try this - sign out of your Apple ID and reboot the iPad, then try all over again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
After the iPad starts up, go back to the settings for Messages and FaceTime and your Apple ID, and sign into all three again.

I changed my Apple ID today and now I can't sign into iMessage because it still shows my old ID. How can I change this??
Did you purchase Apple Care? If you did, you still have access to Apple Support. If not, go to your Apple Store and let them help you get it set up correctly. I'm sure it's something simple we're missing. Good Luck.
Do remember one thing. iMessage on iPad only works with other iOS devices. This means you can only text to people who:
1. Have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
2. And they have upgraded to iOS 5 or higher -
Cant log into iMessage on myI ipad air and get the message " please check your internet connection and try again" and my internet is on and I can connect to it in other applications.
1. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
2. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
3. Restart iPad
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo -
How can I sign into iMessage with a different Apple ID?
I setup iOS5 and got it running. I used all my existing AppleID info.
Once it was running I decided to do some personal housekeeping and went to AppleID.Apple.com to clean up my various emails and to set my appleid to a email address that I actually am using.
I made the change and I was able to update to the new main ID in facetime but I can't login to iMessage anymore. It just keeps asking for the password to my old AppleID and won't allow me to put in the new ID.
How do I get iOS5 to forget the old iMessage ID?
Any advice would be great!
(I must add: This has been the MOST problematic update I've ever done with Apple - I had difficulties with my iPad2, iPhone 3Gs AND my AppleTV Gen2)

I try to sign in and it just takes forever to do I try and try and do it over and over and it brings me the same results. Created a new Apple ID and when I did it still tells me there is a network problem. But the thing is I am still able to use the Internet I need help?? And it does the exact same thing for FaceTime so I don't know what to do??

I try to sign into imessage and it says they will message you though the emails and stuff you put for example cell phone and i click next and it brings me back to the sign in screens so im stumped and same thing happens for facetime.

I have recently updated my ipad mini to iOS 7. My Apple ID works for everything apart from iMessage and FaceTime. When I sign in, it says check your network connectivity and try agin. I have tried several times. Why is this happening? What can I do to resolve this issue?
I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.

My ipod gets like lock, everything appear with lines, I already restore like three times the ipod and still happens the same, what can I do? and on some app store they just told me that restore, but well I do and is the same! What can I do?? and is new, I buy it on march!
This is a image of the ipod already restore, and everytime looks like that!If restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod dow not solve the problem you likely have a hardware problem. In that case either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare. If defective, Apple will replace your iPod at no cost.

My iPod Touch keeps displaying the message 'This accessory not supported by iPod touch.' When I've used it w/this device multiple times, it's happening more and more frequently now. Anyway to dismiss this message for good? Because the iPod still plays thru my radio and system.

Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF.
Then go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings. Your phone will restart. You will not lose any data, but you will have to re-enter any Wi-Fi network passwords.
Once the phone has re-started and you have a network connection (either 3G or Wi-Fi), turn iMessage back ON. -
