If restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod dow not solve the problem you likely have a hardware problem. In that case either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare. If defective, Apple will replace your iPod at no cost.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
I've also seen it suggested that people try downloading a free app from the store onto the iPad (as that seems to reset something), and then re-try the apps - the free app can then be deleted. -
i need help, i can't download free applications in App store. they answer me "your request cannot be processed Error code:1009".
and after they said "we could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later (null)".

Bought Snow Leopard from Apple - installed off the disc. Then ran software update and added system update then went to App store to install Mountain Lion. This or any other App for that matter will not respond when I click 'buy app'. Tried this twice with same result.

I can't buy mountain lion in app store.

Ive been trying to buy mountain lion for three days without success. I click on the "buy app" but nothing happens. Reverts back and forth between "buy app" and the price.

Comcast Technician just told us that the connection we have is way over capacity
I signed up for a package wtih 25Mbps of Internet speed. Over the past few weeks, I've been consistently losing connection, or getting speeds between 2-4 Mbps. My next door neighbor has had the same problems. We both called Tech Support - my call resulted in being passed around from person to person, and then ultimately disconnected in the middle of the call. My neighbor had a technician come out this morning. After looking around, he told us that whomever connected us, simply put splitters on the 'main connection' at the top of the utility pole - and that it is WAY over capacity for everyone on our block. In fact, he said he was surprised anything was working at all. My neighbor told me later that the technician was going to try and find a "temporary fix" for at least him... I'm wondering : 1) How can I possibly be getting billed for service is, without question, not what I'm getting - not even close. 2) Why was a technician allowed to make the decision to just keep splitting bandwidth across our neighborhood and go way over whatever capacity was allowed? 3) Without calling and getting the runaround, yet again, HOW can I get this resolved as soon as possible? This is a vacation home, so I'm not there now and rather not have to drive 3 hours in order to deal with this problem again (I did that twice already - the first time for installation where the rep never showed up, and then again when it wasn't working because another technician was helping my neighbor and simply disconnected my service to test his, and never reconnected it). PLEASE help and let me know what you can do to fix this! Thank youTom
I was actually told by comcast to post in this forum. And yes, I would hope/expect that something like this WOULD be addressed by a comcast-hosted set of forums that are more than occasionally read by comcast employees. But you're right in that I should keep my expectations low.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

I'm having the exact same problem. I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes on my iMac and ever since I did the store is a blank white screen. I can get my library content but the store is a no go. Is there any one out there with a solution? -
I replaced the hard drive to a 30gig on my Ipod 4th gen. click wheel but it is still not recognized on my computer or in itunes......I get an error message with a folder and "!"....what can I do to fix??
Have you recharge the battery for at least 2 hours, or just leave it connected for 4 hours?
(When you replaced the Hardisk, you should also replace the battery.)
Some other iPod SSD sites, says that you may have to format the CF in FAT32, as Mac dont read NTFS drive so if Windows is the 1st PC that your CF is connected, it may be formatted to NTFS.
You can try erasing the CF using Disk Utilty, so that Mac can recognise it. (but not Windows)

Why is En start transcoding if it just told me that I do not need to?
have HiDef footage that I edited and exported from Premiere CS3 to Encore CS4 using the BluRay High preset.
NTSC, 1440x1080, 23.976 [fps], Progressive
PCM Audio, 48 kHz, Stereo
VBR, 2 Pass, Target 20.00, Max 25.00 [Mbps]
Premiere asked me to save the file and it exported the file as .m4v for video and .wav for audio. Once AP finished transcoding it opened the Encore. Both files are shown untranscoded under the BR Transcode Status column. I transcoded the .wav file, but when I try to transcoded the .m4v file I get the following message:
The file you about to transcode is already legal for Blue-ray. Transcoding will affect its quality.
I click cancel in the dialog, but when I try to build a blue-ray folder Encore starts building with transcoding the .m4v file.
Why is En start transcoding if it just told me that I do not need to? Is there a setting I am missing?Are you sure it's transcoding the .m4v? I have on numerous occasions had Encore CS4 start to transcode the audio that I had just finished transcoding. I seem to have a bug whereby Encore 'forgets' it's audio transcodes, and has to redo them. Could this be happening to you as well?
