My phone is falling apart

Everything is going wrong with my phone, I have been trying to find a contact number but can't find one. I then went on to try and send an email to tech support but I have no idea what a 'partner code' or 'case ID' is. I think Blackberry make it extreamly difficult to help with any issues, I desperatly need to speak to someone about all the issues I am having, please can somebody respond to me ASAP so I can get this sorted?? Thanks.

It may actually be, given your purchase situation, that you have neither warranty nor any formal support for your BB. Given your purchase method, your device-level warranty and formal support would come from the seller to you...still not direct from BlackBerry. If your issue is service related, then your carrier would be your support channel.
But, from what you say, it sounds like you have a device-level issue (since your service provider would not help). But still, BlackBerry provides no front line support to any end users...well, not for free. It may be that they provided you with a number that is the Incident Support number...and that channel requires payment to BlackBerry just to start the process and ask the first question.
Anyway, you seem to have what you desire...so good luck with that!

    I considered emailing them to myself but there are almost 400 of them and there is no "FWD ALL" option on this phone so I would have to do it one by one which is impossible since my touchscreen is so buggy I can barely use the phone at all.
    Next I tried BitPim, and was successfully able to save them all to my PC, but when I open them up to view them they are ugly and hard to read (and the MMS are completely illegible).
    What program properly reads SMS .dat files and MMS .pdu files? 
    If there is no program to view, is there a program or way to convert them to a more easily readable format on my PC?  Alternatively, is there a way to bulk FWD them?

    That's just how BitPim stores the stuff. Once you transfer it to a new phone, it is completely normal.
    That is the only way I know of, other than emailing, to backup texts on a non-smartphone.
    As for pictures, just put them on an SD card and plug it into your computer and you can transfer them that way.

    Your warranty is only good in the US where you bought the phone. You will need to contact Apple Support in the US to arrange to return your phone to the US for repair. You should also inquire as to whether they will be able to return the phone to you in India.

  • Highly Dissapointed G570 falling apart within 3 months and now cracking close to end of Warranty

    I purchased a Lenovo G570 and noticed within 3 months the screws at the bottom were dropping out unknown to me. Next the rear edges cracked open everytime I opened up the Laptop TO USE IT and made a cracking sound , same noise when you close it.
    I am highly disappointed in this Laptop. I was considering getting a Lenovo Tablet but after this nightmare , I will keep as far away from Lenovo as I can.
    Also I bought the Laptop at the end of August and was shocked to discover that my Warranty expired a couple of weeks before it should have so to replace the Screws I was told to ship it to the factory for repair would cost over $250 !
    I see some Screw Kits available for much less than this.
    I am now just waiting for the Whole Laptop to fall apart but will not be repairing it , I will just throw it in the Garbage Dump and consider it a waste of money.
    I will go for a Toshiba or Apple next time.
    Never Ever Again ....NOT A CHANCE WILL I EVER PURCHASE LENOVO !  SHAME ON THEM !

    It will keep falling apart. Don't buy anymore Lenovo products. They will just beak into pieces. They are shameless and disgusting. My laptop just keeps falling apart.

    I'm assuming you can..now I don't know the prices for your area, you'll have to check around, I just did a quick web search and I'm pulling all sorts of prices up, I'd look into a repair facility near you and see what they can do for you :-) shouldn't be too expensive though! Good luck!

  • Replacement iPod Touch 8GB (2nd Gen) beggining to fall apart after two months!

    Well my problem is plain and simple
    My first iPod touch (8GB 2nd Gen) was working perfectly fine until one day it slipped from my hands and the screen shattered. I took the iPod in to Best Buy and they overlooked the serial number and looked up my plan (product replacement plan) and they took it in and sent it out. They promised me a refurbished or a new iPod touch. They said it should take only about 5 days but it took two weeks, but in all fairness it was around a busy holiday seasons so i can understand the holdup. My Apple warranty was already up when i took the first iPod in for a replacement so i just used my product replacement plan. 2 weeks later i recieved my refurbished iPod in the mail, how could i tell it was refurbished, well for one the back of the iPod was void of any scratches but there was no Apple or "iPod" branding?! They also did not include the headphones used with current and past models, they shipped headphones that were changed years ago to a new design, i tested the headphones, and they were broken. I just said oh well and when i went to plug it in with the "new" cord they included i noticed there were stains all over it and i had to disinfect them (..yuck!) it made me certainly rethink even using the headphones in the first place. One thing that seemed odd to me was that it included OS 3.0 since 2nd gen iPods only ship with OS 2.2.1 and after checking the settings i confirmed it was in fact a sencond generation iPod Touch. After about a week of use i plugged in my headphones and i could only hear through one side, i unplugged them and replugged them and the problem was resolved and i thought it was a fluke, so i just disregarded it but its been a month now and since last week no matter what headphones i use i always get sound from the left channel. I was honestly furious that after only 1 month the ipod it starting to fall apart in front of me. I inspected the iPod closely and noticed that if held a certain way the glass on the lower right coner of the iPod begins to move around. The home button has also failed to respond quite a few times. Then when one day the external speaker started to begin to become flaky and sometimes not work at all, i just said "thats it!" im currently resetting the iPod to factory settings and putting a test sound on it for them to listen to and see the problem. In fact when i received it there was already a test sound on it so i presume there was a problem with the jack previously? I am repackiging everything and am off to geek squad tommorow, if there is any other advice to offer please let me know. Ive treated the iPod like a child after the first one shattered and the device has never been dropped, the screen and the back cover are spotless (minus the small scratches on the back chrome cover just from normal use) the iPod has never been near water and i checked the iPod to see if infact water could have gotten in the iPod and the sticker was still sparkling white, i am sorry Best Buy ive been a customer for years and while do not mean to rant and complain it has only been to months and its already falling apart?! i am sorry that is just not acceptable.

    I just got my ipod touch 2nd gen 8gb replacement ipod in the mail two days ago. And i fell that my screen has cracked way to easily. I had my other ipod touch before this one for a year and a half and the screen had never been cracked. But my first two days with this "replacement" ipod has cracked twice. i am willing to take the blame for the first crack as i dropped it in the street and my case didnt do its job, but lasnight i put my hand in my sweatpants pocked only to find small peices of glass. i took out my ipod and there was the problem. a large shatter on the bottom near the homebutton. Seriously 2 cracks in 2 days with my REPLACEMENT after 360+ days and no cracks with my forsure APPLE ipod touch? I doubt my ipod touch screen is even made by apple.

  • AI graphic falls apart in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hey guys,
    I've brought a very simple vectored graphic (png from illustrator) into premiere CS6 to use as a logobug in the lower right corner.
    So here's what my timeline looks like. All white with logobug(intro), footage of speaker with logobug(middle), and then all white with logobug(end).
    Here's what's driving me crazy.
    When I render and export this really short sequence, the graphic(logobug) at the beginning falls apart. By this I mean that it looks pixelated and like a copy of a copy. Just looks crappy.
    But when the speaker footage starts, the graphic/logobug all of a sudden looks real sharp. And at the end when the speaker's footage is done and it's just the logobug over white, the logobug looks GREAT.
    I have no idea what's going on here? The logo bug looks horrible in the beginning and then great over the middle and at the end. I've tried exporting it as multiple file types. I've asked the graphic artist to redo the art and give me a different copy. But same results.
    timeline is 640by480, 60fps dslr footage with the png vectored logobug from the graphic artist, and he made it in illustrator
    Specs: 580gtx, 16g ram, 2 HDs, with CS6 Production Suite

    For starters, PNG can't hold vector graphics, only rasterized.  Which means any scaling you do could degrade the image.
    Having said that, can you upload the export so we can see what you see?

    Take it to Apple, with some money, and ask if it is eligible for an out of warranty replacement.  They will not trade a new 4S for a busted 4. If you want a 4S you'll have to buy one.

    Just adding my two bits...same thing with my Macbook. Cracks on both sides where your palm rests. It appears to match exactly where the magnet-ridges come down.
    I've seen lots of identical issues in other Mac forums. Right now I've got scotch tape preventing further damage...kind of "cheap" looking.
    Hoping Apple repairs this without hassle...my MacBook is kept in it's own sleeve insde my case and has never been dropped.

  • Hinge Falling Apart

    Yesterday my hinge started falling apart. This machine has never been dropped or over-extended before. I was told by the Apple Store today it must have been dropped and would not be covered under warranty. However (like many others I've seen claim the same thing, on the internet at least) my machine has never been dropped or mishandled, it sits on my desk. The majority of people also claim this problem has happened on the right side of their machine, as it has on mine, which leads me to believe this is a manufacturing issue.
    I was asked to call Apple Care, buy when I did they said in essence "whatever the Apple Store said is what you will hear from us".
    So I was told to call Customer Relations tomorrow. I just thought I should log my situation in here in case it can aid in bringing attention to this problem.
