Satellite A300 screen keeps jumping up and down

Hi,
What is on my screen keeps jumping up and down, any thoughts, is this a problem with video card in Satellite A300?

I have tried to install the display driver from the European website. During uninstallation I got a messgae to say failures occurred during uninstallation, and then during installation I got the message of Install package failure!
I have my external monitor now connected to laptop, but in personalising display settings, I cannot get my computer to recognise that I have two monitors now, as both keep coming up with number 1 (Multiple Monitors) on ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650, and they both have that degraded view, a bit like in safe mode.
So in checking of device manager under display adapters I have:
ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650
and under Sound, video and game controllers I have:
High Definition Audio Device
Realtek High Definition Audio
In this whole process I deleted a file that was previously here called
ATI HMD...
should I resinstall this?
So I'm not sure if the new display driver has been installed? help.

Screen keeps jumping up and down but only when using firefox-so not a hardware problem

The screen keeps jumping randomly up and down but nothing is being touched or pressed. The screens can be email, you tube, bank or general internet screens, or even trying to create this page

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have the magic mouse, don't know whether it is something to do with that? Any ideas?

If gumsie's suggestion isn't the answer, try logging into another account, like Guest, and see if you get the same behavior. You may need to clean the windows on the bottom of the mouse.

Screen keeps jumping around when I try to do my farming?

I love fire fox but my screen just keeps jumping around. For instance when I am trying to give gifts to my farmville neighbors. When I press send the whole screen will jump. I will have just a brown on the side of the screen then it slowly comes back. Can you please help. I would hate to go back to the internet.

Screen keeps jumping

This problem began this morning when any window with a scrollbar would suddenly start jumping up and down as if I was purposefully scrolling at such a rate.
This only occurs when I type, and sometimes it'll stop for a couple seconds.
I've managed to find a way to avoid it by hovering my mouse over my hidden dock while I type.
A friend says it's the firmware and that I need to download the new software for it - but I'm not sure if it is that source of the issue.
If it is the way to solve this problem - do I also need to back up all my files before re-downloading the program? Or will it not affect any files on the Mac?

Have you had the computer apart lately...ram added or hd changed?
If so and you did that work, go back over each step/process/connection carefully. If so. but someone else did the work...don't touch it, take it back and have them go over it instead.
..has it been dropped....?
If nothing's done like that lately, try resetting some of the hardware involved (PRAM~NVRAM). See this Apple KB for details, etc.:

Failing that, take it to an Apple Store (have Apple Care?) and ask staff there for assistance.

Your apps are crashing. Try some basic troubleshooting steps and see if they help at all.
Quit all apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or .... Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Start with those two things and see if the apps quit crashing - or see if the crashes are less frequent.

If the Slide to Power Off option is coming up, that suggests your power button isn't working correctly and is sticking.
Best thing to do is bring the phone to an Apple store (make an appointment first) and have a Genius take a look at it.

This phone is not doing this.

Are you using a case around your phone? If yes, did you make sure the proximity sensor is not covered?
Try without the cover to make sure the sensor is working.
A protection film on your screen can also cover the sensor and result in a dysfunction of the sensor.

What have you done so far to try to fix it? I've tried rebooting several times and it did not work. Tried connecting to iTines but it does not recognize the iPhone.
My other iPhone 4s restarted successfully after the updgrade but some apps don't function properly. It automatically closes while in use.
Apple please help. I know it's the weekend but I need the other iPhone to work. Can't use sim with a diffrent phone because it's a micro sim!

If you have another pointing device installed, remember that the Mac uses "all sources live". You can literally use two or more mice or two or more keyboards at once.
Your trackpad, if that is what you are using, must be very clean. Any debris may be seen as another "finger".

It means you should take it to the Genius Bar. You will no doubt need to buy an out of warranty replacement.
