My phone won't vibrate on or ring or even light up when somebody is calling or texting me and I have my setting to where is supposed to anybody know how to fix it?
I have my phone to where it should vibrate on silent and on sound but it hang been working when somebody texts or calls me my phone doesn't make any noise or vibrate, the screen doesn't even show me I have a text it just stays locked any help?
Do you have Do Not Disturb enabled? Settings>Do Not Disturb Turn both Manual and Scheduled to off.

Some weeks ago, I installed OS X Yosemite, as shown on my App Store, that was a "System Update available for my IMac 2009". Followed all the steps, normally and installed it as I did many other times ago (with the Maverick, Mountain Lion, OS X).
Just after the installation, I noticed that every single folder or program that depends on "Apple", stopped working.
Examples: Office package opens normally, so as Firefox. But, IPhoto, ITunes, Safari and App Store itself do not.
That is causing me fear, because even trying to reinstall Yosemite or return to the one I had before, using App Store became impossible. Even the "Apple Icon" on the top left corner does not work. I click, it flashes, just IF it was ready to open, but nothing happens, seams that have something stopping the "loading process" of the softwares.
Does anybody know how to fix the problem, please?

I Tried before, but the Mac App Store was not responding either, and worse, after 5 years, There is no free phone support
I ended up solving it by reinstaling the Yosemite pressing "comand + R"

I updated to 5.1 and now its stuck on "connect to iTunes screen" do anybody know how to fix issue?
I got a messgae on my screen about the 5.1 update on my iPhone 4 so I clicked update. My device turned off then the apple screen popped up and it began to perform the up date. after the loading bar was full it went to a connect to itunes screen so I did but nothing happened and iTunes will not recognize my device. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it. I also held the home/sleep button while holding menu button. Can someone please help me???????/////
Similar problem here. I have the 4s model and I try to do the update but when it downloaded the update it said that a problem occurred and then switched to the connect-to-iTunes screen.

I can't delete apps on my iPad does anybody knows how to fix it. Also I can't open any iWork apps ,they open but won't show anything.
If the whole iPad freezes then something else is going on. Try this next. Close all apps in the recents tray and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
the wifi turn-on/off feature does not work on my iphone... it's stuck on off and won't turn on. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Do you get an error when you try to sync your iPod nano with iTunes? If your iPod does not appear in iTunes in the first place, you can try the troubleshooting below.

hello, i am trying to download the new ios 8 but my usage says i am using 3.1 gb in messages but i do not have any imessages saved?? anybody know how to fix this.
Given that you are very low in memory on your iPhone, it would be much easier to connect your phone to your computer and download iOS 8.1 via iTunes. Memory won't be an issue this way.

Hi, while listening to a song my iPad music shut down and I can't open it any more. Do you know how to fix this?
iPad 2Try closing the Music app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
Page numbers displayed incorrectly in TOC in new Pages - does anybody know how to fix this?
I'm working on a multi-section document with a single TOC for two sections. Section one uses lowercase roman numerals (i, ii,...) and section two arabic numerals (1, 2, ...). The page numbers are displayed correctly on the pages themselves, but in the TOC the first two headings from section two (pages 1 und 3) are displayed as "i" and "iii". This only started after the update to pages 5, everything was fine before that. Does anybody know how to fix this? I already tried deleting the TOC and inserting a new one and changing the numbers to uppercase letters and back, to no avail.

When I connect my Mac Mini 2011 with Lion to a TV via HDMI and an earphone cable is plugged in, it´s not possible to choose sound out via hdmi, as opposed to connection via the minidisplay port. Anybody knows how to fix this?
Was just on the phone with Apple about this.
The solution was as follows for me anyway...
Go to your Finder
Choose the Go Menu
Choose Computer
Choose your Macintosh Hard Drive
Choose your "Library" Folder
Choose the "Preferences" Folder
There should be a folder called "Audio"
Move that whole folder to the trash
Empty the Trash
Restart from the Apple Menu
When you are back up and running;
Choose System Preferences from the Apple Menu
Choose Sound
In the output tab you should now be able to make the HDMI "Sticky"
Enjoy your sound over HDMI and no more dirty knees or broken backs unplugging the desktop speakers!

My dad has recently gotten a new phone and I got his old one. With his permission I restored it to factory settings and set up the iPhone 4 as a new phone with my apple id. Everything has downloaded fine but I have had many problems with my music. First it was where my phone didnt recognise my apple id, but I figured that out. Then it was where iTunes took one of my albums and split it so all the songs where their own albums. I fixed the album split on iTunes but its still like that on my iPhone. I have looked online everywhere and I still haven't found a solution! I'm getting super frustrated! Does anybody know how to fix this?
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -
Since I downloaded the new update on my iphone 4s I no longer see the delivered message under my text when sent. Also the message is green instead of blue. Does anybody know how to fix this?
You are sending SMS messages. iMessages are blue. Go to Settings>>Messages>>iMessage ON.

i have been trying to update my iphone and when i tried to do so it said i needee to restore it first so tried this and since my phone just has the usb icon and itunes showing on it wont turn on or anything and half way through restore it comes up with an error message saying it cant complete it anybody know how i fix this please doin my head in

If it's just particular documents and not all documents, you can deselect the following user preference: Edit > Preferences > Documents > Allow documents to hide the menu bar, toolbars, and window controls
