My Podcast hoster is gone...so how do I update my podcast?

Greetings.
My podcast was hosted thru rizz.net or blipmedia. I haven't updated in a while, but now it appears that rizz.net is gone.
So: how can I add a new podcast to my "oeuvre" without starting an entirely new podcast and submitting to itunes for review?

Hi lroom, welcome to the discussions.
Normally you put this in your podcast's rss xml code right below the <channel> tag:
<itunes:new-feed-url>http://yourserver_here/your_new_feedhere</itunes:new-feed-url>
But it sounds like your host is gone, so that won't work. You could try writing them and explain the situation, giving them your old feed location and the new feed location.

You'll probably just need to submit a new feed to the iTMS.

I have just turned on my computer, then itunes.
What I found was nothing. I store all my files on an external hard drive and wasn't connected when I first loaded it up.
I have tried loading up itunes with the hard drive and even my playlists and videos have gone.
How can I reload all the tracks without manually putting all my music, videos, photos and podcasts?

A quick thing, do you know where you kept your library file:
iTunes Library.itl?
If it was on the external drive, you may be able to reconnect with it by starting iTunes with the shift key held down. This allows you to choose a library.

Bash remote host completion gone [SOLVED]

i had remote host completion:
ssh hostna[tab]
with my original debian .bashrc file.
now with a new arch install it is gone and setting this
export HOSTFILE=$HOME/.hosts
doesn't bring it back even when i put the hostnames from /etc/hosts into that file.
how can i get the remote hostnames to complete using [tab] again?

the solution was presented to by aaron and daenyth from the [email protected] list:
1) shutoff the host-hashing setting for ssh.
In /etc/ssh/ssh_config (or your ~/.ssh/config), set "HashKnownHosts no"
2) delete existing hashed lines so they can be regenerated
easiest way to do this was to rm .ssh/known_hosts
now remote host completion works just fine!

Were the app in your iTunes library? If not the app data in the backup has no place to go. Redownload the apps in your iTunes libaray

and then restore from backup.

Otherwise, try restoring from backup again.
If still problem that means the backup does not include the data.

you should look in your applications folder to see if mail is still there. the dock icon is pointing to mail being in your applications folder. it has probably been moved or deleted for some reason from the app folder. do a spotlight search for your mail program. if it is still on your computer, move it back to the applications folder and when you click the question mark, it should see it is back and open. The email folder in your library shouldn't have to be touched. you need mail.app itself.

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.

You only see that Bookmarks Menu button with the drop marker on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the Menu bar is hidden.<br />
