Problem Resolved - it is a font issue. Apparently Acrobat can't handle particular fonts and it is best to stick with a very small slection of fonts - Arial, Helvetica, Times Roman.
I haven't test a lot of fonts. If I do, I'll post there results here.

Can't connect to the internet in my home yet other devices can. I tried it in other wifi places and it connects without a problem. My home wifi is with ATT Uverse. I cheched the IP address on my laptop and its different than on my Ipod although it on the same network.
Move off WEP to WPA or, preferably, to WPA2 (as recommended by Apple). WEP has been deprecated by the WiFi Alliance since 2004 as insecure (it can be cracked in seconds by any hacker).
Note that each device on a network has a unique IP address but if your address starts with 169 then you did not get a valid IP address assigned to you by your router. If restarting the router did not cure the problem then you should check for a firmware update for your router. -

I am a schoolteacher and our school uses Apple-tv to project lesson contents. We have separated the students wifi network from the teachers wifi network, so our students won't be able to use the apple-tv's and disrupt our lessons.
Since the introduction of ios8, the separated wifinetwork doesn't do the trick anymore. Students can now use every Appltv in their vicinity to project whatever image they want. This is a problem.
Can we turn off the option that enables IOS8 to connect to apple-tv without using the wifi network?

Power wise it uses 6W at most.
You can't power off from the remote but you can set it to sleep -
Press and hold Select for five seconds (or go to Settings > Sleep Now on Apple TV (2nd generation), or Settings > Standby on Apple TV (1st generation) -
Help! I have an iPod Touch 5th generation with iOS 8.1 that I just purchased two days ago. I am of the early 70's generation and this is all new to me. I have wifi at home because i have a laptop. I want to use my iPod mainly for creating playlists and then playing it through my stereo. When I turn my iPod on, it automatically connects to the internet. How can I control when I connect to the internet? I am not a kid wanting to use all the "gadgets" please help me so I don't feel that I've totally wasted all of this money on this purchase! Hey Evawantsin, turning off Wi-Fi as suggested by Illaass will do the trick, but how are you connecting to your stereo? If it uses Wi-Fi, then you need to turn the Wi-Fi on for music sessions. If through Bluetooth your fine, or do you use a physical connection like a dock, USB to lighting cable or do you just plug in through the headphone port with a patch cable? Also, you can down load the iPod Touch Users Guide for iOS 8 for free from iTunes. It will answer most questions, or at least point you in a direction. Hope this helps. Good luck, Cheers.

I am awaiting a Snow Lep[ard disk to tray and remove Mountain Lion
which has been trouble since the day of original instalation.
I have had to twice reload Mounatain Lion via the net
and It is still dangerously unstable on my earl 2009 intel machine.
One very unhappy camper here.Also with WiFi off on iPad I can run iTunes,
but use USB to connect the iPad and it all goes bad again.
I can find no way to make itunes and iPad recognize each other.
It just keeps looping around.

You can only transfer photos from the Camera Roll. Photos in other albums had to come from your computer to begin with and should still be there.

Hi, I dropped my i-phone 4 down the toilet 6 days ago and have left it in rice to dry out. When i try turning it on there is no power. I connected to charger and the apple sign appears. After a while it shows iOS6 on screen and then asks me to connect to i-tunes however my i-phone does not appear on i-tunes. Can you advise me what to do next?

HI, I recently upgraded my operating system IOS 5.0.1 on an iphone 3gs. My question is, how do I get the text messaging preview to just pop up so that I can see the name only when the lock screen is on? The conventional ways of doing this, such as using turning off the SMS preview under the "passcode lock", well that option no longer exists, or if it does, I'm somehow missing it.
When I go to the "messages" setting under settings on my phone, I still don't see an option of turning it off.
If I can just get the name of the person sending the message, as I had it before, I'd be happy.

There are two Office versions: Office for Windows, and Office for Mac.

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

Your iPad is physically out of storage space. Purchasing space in iCloud dosen't magically give your actual iPad more physical storage space.
